Aaaaand welcome bitches, bros and non-binary hoes to another round of 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 2am headcannons with LJ! Except it's 4am rn cause I'm a rebel 😈. Today we're focusing on the Mephone fam :D (these take place in a world where all the Mephones actually got a chance to be a family)

- Mephone 3GS has slight Prosopagnosia (face blindness/inability to recognize faces) due to his sensors being fucked up. Has a lot of memory issues in general rly due to the same injury. He mainly has difficulties remembering people's names, dates, time, when events took place, etc. (I'm projecting 💀)

- The Mephones all call each other by colors as nicknames. Mephone4, 4S, and 3gs are the main ones who call each other by colors (mostly because associating people with colors helps 3gs remember who they are.)

Here's a list of all the nicknames :)

Mephone3gs: Gray

Mephone4: Blue

Mephone4s: Red

Mephone5: Silver

Mephone5C: Pink/Rose

Mephone5S: Gold/Goldie

(Mephones 6-X have no nicknames due to them being automated guards with little to no will of their own)

- 5C and 5S are the only ones out of the main 6 that don't have a sibling dynamic, this is due to how they were created. All the Mephones before them were released independently and each a year apart (from 2009-2012) 5C and 5S were the only ones to ever be released in the same year and we're specifically built to be companion pieces to each other. They are both married and mostly see the others as their nephews while the others see them as their weird and eccentric aunt and uncle.

- A Mephone's maturity relies entirely on how advanced they are, not how long they've technically been alive. Each new Mephone model is more sophisticated than the last, making them act older and more mature despite existing for a shorter period of time. (Hence why Mephone4S and 5 act as older brother figures to 4 and 3gs and why 5c and 5s act more like well adjusted adults than the rest.)

- Mephone4 and 4S are commonly referred to as "the twins" despite being a year apart in age. This is due to their similar names, them both having the exact same physical model, the red and blue color scheme, and their just general vibe together as siblings. They bicker a lot but they're very close.

- Mephone5 is probably the most distant from the rest. But not in an asshole kinda way more like in a "stressed but wise older brother who you barely see cause he's constantly either working part time or doing college" typa way. He's just a very busy dude. Gives pretty good advice tho if you catch him on one of his break days. Constantly leaves 4S in charge.

- 3gs has seen a lot of shit 💀. Cannot be in enclosed or tight spaces for too long; you can fucking forget it if the light's are off, he would rather die than go into another dark room. Mephone damn near filled 3gs's whole room with nightlight orbs to help him sleep. 3gs is pretty embarrassed about his newfound fear of the dark and claustrophobia, but Mephone4 always reassures him that there's no shame in it. Mephone4 was actually the one to get 3gs out of the storage closet in the first place, so 3gs looks up to him a lot. If 3gs is ever upset or has a meltdown, immediately go find Mephone4. If Mephone4 is unavailable, however, 5S or 5C are good stand ins.

What's your stance on shipping the meeple phones? (4S x 4, 4 X MePad, etc)? Because I've seen a good few people say they're all brothers, but I haven't ever seen it confirmed canon? This isn't me saying it's okay to ship them if they are, but I genuinely don't know if they're related

Every context clue makes it pretty obvious they're brothers.

They're been created and raised together, and at the very least they're related by all of them being mephones.

Ngl I'm kinda hoping the "mephone dies" and the "mephone is the missing shimmer" theories are cannon cause like, imagine dude straight up dying, somehow waking up, then realizing his life was even faker than he thought it was, he wasn't even actually a mephone, he was just some kid shoved in a body he wasn't supposed to be in that wasn't even supposed to last as long as it did, dude was kidnapped just to be killed off when he wasn't useful anymore,

Like, on one had there woukd be the realization he's technically free now, but at the same time one hell of a crisis cause his entire life has been a lie from a greedy business man, and I don't think he even knows what the hell a shimmer is so that's even more questions for him

I'd also like to point out with every other meeple product none of them seem to start with proper emotions, 5s, meepad, they both needed time to develop their emotions beyond what was pre programmed, they started blank or one note, while meephone4 seems to have just had them, which also kinda fits with why he's a bit irrational compared to the other bots, sense his emotions didn't come at a manageable time later in life for him, they just were there and were likely overwhelming sense logically he's only in his teens right now and was expected to act like an adult at age 1, and unlike meepad, he just can't do that.

Either mephone4 was just built different, or cobs just stopped giving his products emotion after 4 to make them easeir to control (sense we can't rule out 3gs or the computer that suitcase talked to, but we dont know if they started with emotion or developed it later)

Anyway I'm just rambling nonsense, Hella hyped for when the ending comes out and how everything ties together!

(Fourthly, I know that this isn't a completely original idea, and people have done it already, but I wanted an excuse to make a theory and there's evidence, so I thought "why not?" It'll make people upset with me if I'm right, and I get to pretend to be Film Theory for a bit. It's a win-win!)

With the horrifying tweet that Brian made last Saturday, there's a lot of people (including you, probably) worried about who will die in the finale, the harsh battle between whether we say "bye" to a bright light, or "so long" to our sour cream schemer. My answer? Neither!! Object show community, inanimate fandom... whatever we call ourselves! I'm about to present to you why our beloved (and somewhat recently hated) host is going to be the death of the season.

First of all, the trailer (and @inanimateinsanityfan 's recent tumblr post "invitation") has somewhat implied that the focus of the movie, the A-Plot at least, will be around Cobs attempting to get to MePhone4 somehow, whether it be luring him up to Meeple Headquarters or trying to get down to him. We've seen from previous episodes that Cobs wants him dead, but it's hard to tell if he's changed his motive, since we haven't seen him since Episode 13 "Mine Your Own Business". However, he has been consistently sending his newer MePhones to eliminate MePhone4, as 5C clearly states in Episode 6. The newer models have features like tracking (much like MePad) and knife hands (NOT like MePad), which MePhone4 doesn't have, which should in theory have made him easier to kill.

Speaking of the abilities, the MeLife function is only ever used by MePhone4, or at least we only ever get to see him do it. Why? Well, I have an idea but that's a theory for another time. The point is; MePhone4 seems to be the only Meeple product with the ability to bring people to life, and has all of the contestants on there as far as we know. This means that, unless there's a creative solution to perma-kill one of the contestants, MePhone4 needs to die first for any perma-death to occur in the first place.

And hell, removing the regeneration ability as a whole would be a great way to cap off the season, to establish that there's no more retrying and that everything is now set in stone. And even if we do get that damn FOURTH season (bonus points to whoever gets the reference), it'll at least spice things up with having, say, MePad as a host instead, leaving the spot open for someone else to claim and have an interesting story arc of their own.

This shot already pulls up a parallel between MePhone4 and MePhone3GS, and though 3GS isn't really confirmed dead, they're definitely not gonna be alive any time soon. The parallels could imply that MePhone4 is destined to a fate similar to 3GS; no longer in service, probably broken, and maybe even killed of by Cobs himself.

In addition to this, all of the other MePhones we've seen have all died; MePhone4 technically died with 4S and 5 in the Season 1 finale "Journey Through Memory Lane", 5S and 5C were introduced and immediately killed in Season 2 Episode 6 "Let 'Er RIP", and MePhones 6 and 6+ were also immediately killed upon introduction in Season 2 Episode 8 "Theft and Battery". The MePhones all have something in common, and that is unavoidable and quick death, much like real iphones honestly.

Does this mean that MePhone4 will have to die as a result of MePhone's faulty creation? No, but there is a pre-established pattern with each of the MePhones that goes as a cycle, perpetuating Cobs' cruel style of doing things; he creates something, claims it's his favorite for a year, then makes something a little better and throws the pre-established bond away to die, and rinse and repeat.

But hey! That's just a theory!

5s and 5c act as those troublesome twins to the other siblings,usually shows up at the show as a little cameo. Acting like the biggest villain the contestants need to beat,making the challenges harder for the contestants or even just revolve around them. With them usually escaped right after they got defeated by the contestants and scream 'WE WILL DEFEAT YOU ONE DAY!! JUST WAIT AND SEE!! HAHA-' As they got blasted into the sun.. Or rather the me cloud building ig..

They purposely act like this in the shows as a way to help mephone4s boost up the view rating (and that they like to make 4s suffer by annoy tf outta him especially with the new most confusing slang they learned with the most miss used way to say that but we don't count that..)

But despite being an iconic twin that always shows up with each others at screen,they have quite an opposite way of fighting. With 5c usually just jumped right into whatever she's facing,having an incredible love for fighting and violence and being one of the lightest me phone from being made of mainly plastic. She loved using fast movement and sword techniques to confused the target and defeat her enemy without a second left to spare. Creating more risk for her to get scratched and cracked but ehh who cares about that am i right? Having scar all over your body looks badass either way.

5s in other hand would rather play a in a more safe way. Such as using a long ranged attack like gun as his main weapon and much prever to block his enemy attacks as he would think of a good way to unarmed their enemy
