I imagine Melchior is just a silly boy and Mercedes is the fierce and snappy one.

I have been adding more to this concept for a bit as well, to the point I’m looking up name meanings and origins to get the opposite/similar names for Lucio/Montag and a name thematically opposite to Mercedes and Melchoir’s. Writing stuff like this is fun lol though I haven’t finished all the routes yet (I’ve only completed Lucio’s and I’m almost done with Muriel’s) so ideas may change as that happens.

Hey i am still alive. May was the month many things happenings. Yes grieving, college works and yes first time voting. Wohooo! Love ya all peeps.

Lucio and the dogs. I don’t know why I kept crying on Lucio’s ending but it was the best.

Mercedes and Melchior napping on you while Lucio is out. He wanted to go have some fun and you originally had work to do but...the gorgeous puppies thought otherwise. They were almost begging you to pepper them with affection. It almost reminded you of Lucio himself. They were snuggled so close to you that you couldn’t try to work even if you tried. When Lucio got home he felt it was oddly silent. As soon as he walks through the door their eyes go to him but for the first time in his life, they stayed where they were. He was confused for the most part, they always came to him when he was home.

Mercedes, bless her heart, nuzzled her way into your side. While Melchior huffed and closed his eyes, giving you little doggie kisses. Lucio stands in the doorway, completely frozen in shock. Sure, the puppies had let you pet them and they did give you puppy kisses but he’d never seen them snuggle you like they did him. Finally, he glances at you. You’re stuck in between the two babies, looking very gorgeous. He walked right up and sat down on your side that had Mercedes attached to it. “Cuddle Pile without me? Now that’s just cruel Puppies!”

Have I mentioned that I love these doggos? Faust will always be my number one familiar, but Mercedes and Melchoir have been my favourites as well since the moment they appeared in the story. Great to see them two in Lucio's story.

M&M again, baby! Love these two. Anyway, I drew them using actual borzoi references, so they turned out a little better. Experimented with crayons and honestly got carried away lmao

This was actually supposed to be a shitpost drawing (hence why the doggos look so damn derpy) but again, got carried away. It is supposed to resemble the Tarske Forest (but I didn't reference it is from memory)

And there's tape over some of it because the original said "Let me do it for you, Lucy. " LOL. I'll probably do that for real next time.

faust is basically an agent of chaos

and Asra can be a child at heart

so you’d have a headache on a daily basis

but in a good way

Julian

so loud

all the time

he and Malak just constantly squawking at each other

you’d be cuddling with Julian when suddenly Malak jumps on top of you

basically like having a toddler

Nadia

Chandra becomes her gossip buddy

they’re always talking about the who’s and the what’s around the palace

she’s always eyeing you when you’re with Nadia

but you know it’s of good intentions

Nadia speaks highly of her

Portia

her and Pepi are always lounging together

especially in the sun

whenever they’re together, they’re napping

either that or they’re chasing birds away from their garden together

Inanna would be his best friend

not that she isn’t already

fiercely loyal to each other

can make each other laugh

Mercedes and Melchoir would be like his children, following him around everywhere, getting into mischief whenever possible

he’d never get too mad at them

you’d tell him he’d coddling them too much

but then Camio would swoop in and start making so much noise

like a screaming toddler

you’d give up and leave Lucio to deal with them on his own
