Let me ask you a question.... "How are you doing!?" A questions that leaves you with two answers. A way to express yourself while we dissect the negative parts of your day. Once we beginning we will both have spend the time enjoying each other company, as your pain turns into a smile. Then there's the other way in which is more common. We place our defense high as we shield ourselves from those that care for us because of not trying to be "weak" in front of others. We usually either have an argument which leads to regret weighting on the tongue or our selfishness will push those to the breaking point to leave. Then again our lack of communication is what brought us to this point. We don't tend to push others away, but we are used to the same route that we tend to fight battles we shouldn't have. Crazy right? What can we do ? Breaking the defense, Lend a hand, and remember your not alone. I'll ask once again "How are you doing!?" Ahh more priceless gems have been uncovered, and boy, was this one sweet. This pic of mom and I was clipped inside of a special book, along with one of the million cards she gave me. What was sweet was seeing the words "you are loved" in her handwriting-the same words that mysteriously appeared, scrawled in what appears to be pencil, in my closet, about an inch beneath the ceiling, and during a difficult time in my life. Yes, I know, I've shared about this before. the date is going well; which is a surprise for seungjae. things like dates never really quite bode well with someone like him. in most cases, he’d find himself disinterested with the girl he was out with, which for the most part, was more of his fault. he thinks she’s nice, cute and easy to talk to. so far he hasn’t felt the urge to just walk out, and she seems to laugh at whatever he says. he thinks that maybe, he could ask her for a second, even third date. 

though that isn’t to say that he’s completely taken by her. if anything (and in truth), he’s bored. he smiles as she speaks, genuinely enjoying the conversation, when he receives a text message. usually, he’d simply ignore it, but the name “ahyeon 🎀” flashes across his screen.

“give me a moment,” he says, lifting his phone. unlocking it, he begins to read the messages, expression changing the moment he realizes what exactly is going on. 

hurriedly, he presses call, disregarding the girl opposite him and the date he was on. “ahyeon? ahyeon, it’s me. are you there?”

Hard pill to swallow: God places some people/things in your life temporarily. As you hold on to them, it blocks you from your permanent blessings and opportunities he has in store. Stop dwelling on the ‘could’ve beens’ and focus on the ‘nows’.
