Alright. No art. Just positive rant. The entire point of my redesigns was me being slightly annoyed at the designs and story of Seduce Me and having way too much positive nostalgia to be normal about this game. I love-hate this game. However! The one thing I will never, never shit talk Seduce Me for is its characters. The main six love interests (Yes I am counting Diana as a main love interest. Thank Demon War for that) are all so well written! I genuinely love them. Even Sam, my least favorite character, isn’t boring. I don’t dislike him for being a bad character, I dislike him because the tsundere trope annoys me.

But this isn’t a rant about the characters as a whole. This is a rant about Damien. Let me rave for a second. Because as melodramatic as his backstory is, it got me hook, line and sinker. I am convinced that either Michaela had a period of being obsessed with Damien or some redheaded fuck boy named Damien pissed her off so much that she made him into a character just to make him suffer. This boy is tragic!

Like b r o, all the other boys’ backstories can be summed up with “The palace life is boring, my dad is kinda shitty and I got one other, reoccurring, minor inconvenience” and then there’s Damien being like- “My mom suffered as my dad’s harem girl until she couldn’t take it anymore and tried to murder me before killing herself. Also my dad is extra shitty to me. He tried to kill me a few times. Food? That’s a luxury. Energy? I’m used to not having it. A room? What is that? Please let me become human because mind reading kinda sucks, oh wait, I only got a 1 out of 6 shot for that ending. And I’m not even the canon ending!”

And another thing! Matthew’s main bad ending has traumatized me for multiple reasons but that line, “That’s what you get for making me go to the human world” after he kills Damien! Now, Matthew is a favorite of mine, but in that moment, I wanted to shake that little bitch until his soul evacuated his body! Like, I don’t care that he was being controlled, how d a r e he come firing shots at Damien when all he wanted was a good life away from his abusive ass dad!? Bro Damien may have been the illegitimate child but at that moment Matthew was the bastard.

Tragic…

On a different, lighter note, I do love the sort of contrast between him and Matthew, at least on the topic of “naivety”. Of the two, you expect the fun loving, goofball to be the naive, kind of innocent one. But that’s not the case. Matthew is optimistic, Damien is innocent. Matthew knows what he wants and while the world is a wonder to him, he goes about the world with this sort of maturity, knowing what he wants to see and when. Damien is more of the spacey type. There is this level of inexperience to how he grasps the world as if he can’t even believe that it can exist. Plus, as much as he has an idea of what he wants to see, sometimes he feels like he must ask permission. Like in the New Years Episode where if you go on Damien’s route, he asks “Can we do this every year?”.

In conclusion, I want to wrap Damien into a blanket burrito and tell him that everything is going to be okay. And then take him to therapy because this man probably has C-PTSD. As my friends would say, I am mentally ill for this demon equivalent of a sad, wet dog.

Seraph of The End and its plot

Let me clarify this: Seraph of The End is a masterpiece, a work of literary art. Despite this, it has a lot of problems with its plot.

Let me state the extremely obvious; Seraph of The End is on an acid trip at this point of the plot. There's a lot of plot twists, and definitely some plot inconsistencies. This is probably because Kagami is changing up stuff so that it matches with his ideal outcome/ending for it, of course. Not to say it's near, since it's still a total clusterfuck and a lot of things have to be clarified before the manga can progress (not to mention it is MONTHLY, so we get 12 chapters per year to work with).

I personally, don't understand how YUU is MIKAELA. This is physically impossible, because, we know that Yuu is the eyeball. Not the fucking human???? unless Yuu is being stupid again and misreading his memories. Like, Michaela named the eyeball, the first Yuu, you know... Yuu. That just doesn't make sense. The eyeball basically gave life to a bunch of humans, so it would more be Yuu's child than a vessel of Yuu. Michaela and Yuu do not appear to be similar at all. You can tell because of the way his personality starts out. A fearful child, and a generic tsundere teenager. He just grows more innocent and foolishly blinded by his affection for life as time progresses. Michaela isn't exactly innocent in the child-like sense, he's more curious. Curious as to why life is... well, life. Honestly, I just don't get it at all. I just have no other way to explain it.

And then, where would Mikaela get his personality from? We know he's a successful clone of Michaela, but we don't know much about him [MIKAELA] as a person. We know a lot about Yuu, he's the first main lead; who the story is about. However, the story is centric around Mika too. So, it's inconsistent and just all the more confusing.

Shinoa Squad, GureMahi, and KrulFeri. (Not using their names as shipping, but more of an abbrev. for their names since theyre seen together) What about them? We have no idea what's going on with them. Since, our original leads in the previous plot arc was centric around them too. Shinoa Squad has been there from the start, so what'll be made of that? Seriously, seems like Kagami just cut them out and forgot them.

The plot is literally inconsistent as shit. Everything went downhill from the conversion of Mika to cursed gear and forth. After that it just got so much more confusing than it actually should be. And yet again, the story falls victim to the plot inconsistencies! Wow. Surprising. The story still remains interesting, but it's still extremely, extremely confusing. This may also ward off newer readers, because it's just not easy to wrap your head around unless you like overanalyzing stuff.

Alright, now there's two possible ship endings that I can think of right now when it comes to our main leads.

A.) MikaYuu. They've been together from the start, they are the epitome of "It was always you", sacrificed everything to be with each other, show parallels to a ship considered "semi-canon" according to the ship wiki (this being GureMahi, as it has the most material to have parallels be made to)., and of course is a fan favorite. This can work, if Kagami decides to please his readers with something that you wouldn't see in a shounen: queers. I can see the world ending again, with Mika and Yuu sitting together, smiling at the destruction. [Although, I picture Mika slightly less happy.] Yuu and Mika watch as their greed has caused all of this, but they just don't seem to care all that much. After all, they're together.

B.) YuuNoa. They're the main leads. Main female, main male. They display parallels to GureMahi as well (but I find they have less), Shinoa's canon crush on Yuuichirou (that I will write a masterpost analyzing later), it's a shounen there has to be some straights somewhere, maybe Shinoa's love will have some good outcome for her. For YuuNoa, I picture that Yuu decides to revive the world (with Mika being by his side, can't kill off the main guy completely), with Shinoa finally having the strength to profess her love. Yuuichirou being like "WOW!! You like me!? AWESOME!!!!" and boom, they hold hands or something.

I'm mentioning these potential endings because shounen has some kind of outcome for their main characters. (ex: naruto's marriage, goku and chichi, ichigo and orihime, etc.) Of course, it's up to Kagami with what he wants to do with the romantic tensions. As for my stance on ships? Whatever seems the most canon at that moment is what I will support. Of course, as long as it isn't fucking disgusting. At this moment, it looks like MikaYuu is going to be canon. This may change, but I'm all for some queers.

SO, to conclude: Owari no Seraph is kind of a clusterfuck, and that's not a good thing. If it's gonna be saved, Kagami has a lot of explaining to do. Potential endings with ships can happen, depending on what Kagami wants to do with the story.

Que a Victoria’s Secret promovia um padrão de beleza singular que não representava a maior parte da população global, nunca foi algo a se questionar, mas foi através da necessária pressão por inclusão que grandes marcas - como Victoria’s Secret e Barbie - têm tentado cada vez mais promover valores de inclusão e visibilidade. Como sociedade acho que podemos reconhecer que tivemos grandes avanços, porém o caminho ainda é longo até conseguirmos atingir uma consciência social onde a inclusão aconteça de forma orgânica. Escuela Popular de Artes entrega ayuda social y de salud a vecinos de la Villa Independencia.

Establecimiento está funcionando como centro operativo, recibiendo también alimentos e insumos en general para la comunidad. Además, están realizando una campaña en beneficio de sus trabajadores y familias afectadas por los incendios.

Producto de los incendios ocurridos en la Región de Valparaíso hace poco más de una semana, el sector de Villa Independencia, en Viña del Mar, resultó uno de los más afectados por el fuego, con cientos de viviendas quemadas en su totalidad. En este territorio está ubicada hace 25 años la Escuela Popular de Artes (EPA), que milagrosamente no resultó con daños, a pesar de que todo a su alrededor se quemó. En ese contexto, hoy está funcionando como centro de ayuda, entregando una serie de prestaciones de salud a la comunidad, como también están desarrollando una campaña a beneficio de los niños y niñas, apoderados y trabajadores de este establecimiento de educación artística que lo perdieron todo.

Una de las fundadoras y directora de la EPA, Michaela Weyand, explicó que, por una parte, están trabajando en un catastro de niños, niñas y jóvenes estudiantes de la escuela afectados por el incendio, mientras que, al mismo tiempo, están operando como un centro de ayuda. “Aquí se están articulando redes de apoyo por parte de organizaciones muy potentes. Por ejemplo, ELAM, una ONG que cuenta con un equipo de unos 30 médicos, quienes están atendiendo en terreno y en la escuela, abordando situaciones de primeros auxilios, heridas menores, se entregan medicamentos y también están ofreciendo atención sicológica”, expresó.

Agregó que “además, ya estamos elaborando un programa dirigido a niños y jóvenes, tanto alumnos de la escuela como del sector en general, para que este lugar sea también un refugio, un espacio de contención. Vamos a contar con un equipo de monitores que ofrecerán actividades creativas, música, danza, manualidades y también organizaremos paseos durante el día, mientras sus padres o familias están ocupados en otras labores”.

Michaela Weyand también se refirió a la ayuda que están gestionando en el extranjero. “La escuela tiene varias redes en el extranjero, en países como Alemania y Luxemburgo. Se van a realizar conciertos a beneficio en Noruega y Francia, como también Crearte Alemania está recibiendo donaciones para primero que todo enfrentar la emergencia. Llegará ayuda que vamos a canalizar para las familias de nuestros niños, niñas y jóvenes del sector que se han visto afectados y también trabajadores”, afirmó la directora.

AYUDA SOCIAL Y SALUD

La coordinadora del puesto de salud e integrante de la ONG ELAM Chile, la médica cirujana Amaya Candia, entregó mayores detalles del apoyo que están ofreciendo en la Escuela Popular de Artes (EPA) de Viña del Mar. “Ya llevamos una semana de trabajo, tenemos un equipo médico funcional y además profesionales no médicos que han llegado para colaborar como apoyo. Contamos con sicólogos, terapeutas complementarios, terapia floral y acupuntura. También, contamos con una avanzada territorial, es decir, nos organizamos como brigadas de apoyo y también vamos a los lugares que nos necesitan”, sostuvo la profesional.

Por su parte, el sicólogo clínico Manuel Villanueva, comentó que “estamos ofreciendo un proceso de acompañamiento psicosocial multidisciplinario, donde tenemos dos formas de trabajo, la primera es siempre a partir de una resolución médica y luego viene un segundo momento para las personas que tienen alguna necesidad en temas de salud mental. En paralelo, se hace una pequeña aproximación diagnóstica donde se decide si hay o no una necesidad psiquiátrica o de medicamentos. Luego, en otra sala, se otorga un espacio de atención corporal con un terapeuta ocupacional, una médica especializada en neurociencia y con el área de acupuntura”.

También, diferentes organizaciones han llegado hasta la EPA para apoyar a la comunidad, como es el caso de la Comunidad Guiña Montaña, andinistas de la Región de Valparaíso y oriundos del sector de Achupallas, en Viña del Mar, otro de los sectores afectados por el incendio. Junto con otras organizaciones de esta área deportiva, como el Club Vinagre Andino de Santiago, el pasado sábado gestionaron una donación de 10 toneladas de ayudas para los damnificados de los alrededores, que están repartiendo en operativos hacia lugares más apartados de las calles principales, como el Campamento Manuel Bustos.

Al respecto, uno de los integrantes de esta agrupación, Cristian Fernández, detalló que “trajimos de todo tipo de insumos para la comunidad. Esto responde a un trabajo colaborativo que se está realizando con la Escuela Popular de Artes, que además está brindando apoyo además en fortalecer la red de ollas comunes y entregar alimento en los sectores más alejados de la población de Achupallas, en las tomas y quebradas. Se han preparado operativos y nosotros como montañistas hemos llegado a estos lugares para hacer entrega de las ayudas donde no se puede acceder de forma tan fácil”.

En tanto, Mirtha Saldivia, vecina de la calle Zoilo Escobar de la Villa Independencia y una de las afectadas por los incendios, destacó el rol de la EPA en estos difíciles momentos. “Ha sido un lugar maravilloso, es un milagro que se haya salvado, dentro de todo lo malo también hay cosas buenas. Han hecho una labor muy positiva, tienen gente haciendo curaciones a las personas con lesiones o que necesitan de un sicólogo y también le dan información a quienes vienen de afuera y andan preguntando, nada que decir”, expresó la residente damnificada.

Cabe mencionar que la Escuela Popular de Artes de Viña del Mar además está recibiendo donaciones en dinero para ir en ayuda a los niños, niñas y jóvenes, apoderados y trabajadores de este establecimiento de educación artística que perdieron todo producto del incendio. The scattered bones and a cluster of pumpkin near a patch outside the forest were touched by the spirit’s energy, causing them to be assembled into the spirit’s minions using its telekinetic ability. They were then sent to raid a village close to Mt. Greylock for its pumpkins and was kidnapped the young Gelliewich when he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Fortunately, Frederick and Eforie noticed in the nick of them during their stay in the city of Amelie and followed them to Sarandon’s hiding spot. There, they were able to rescue , but they could not leave without . The spirit is immobile for now, but the longer he lingers in its host pumpkin, the more dark magic amplified by the All Hallows’ Eve air he absorbs.
