Get a clue… with RP2040 or ESP32-S3 🧩🔌📡💡💻🔧⚙️🛠️🤖🔬

The Clue series started with an nRF52840 and was supposed to get expanded to cover RP2040 and ESP32-Sx chipsets - and we even did full layouts in mid 2021 before getting our hopes smashed by ST sensor chip shortages (we use a loooot of ST sensors on these boards…) well we actually have a shot of making these now. we'll have to replace the accel-gyro from the LSM6DS33 to LSM6DS33, maybe also the magnetometers but otherwise we can probably get these prototyped / PCBs ! Another fun Open-source hardware design coming soon!

Interaktive leker og design for lekeopplevelse (Uke1)

Jeg har valgt valgfaget Interaktive leker, og allerede i første uken har vi lært så mye gøy! Vi har utforsket koding av Microbit, lært å styre lys, lyd og bevegelse gjennom programmering og lodding. I løpet av den første uken har jeg skapt en robot og kodet den til å lyse opp, bevege seg, og til og med vise et hjerte som banker i brystet. Jeg har kalt denne roboten "Kjærlighet ved første blikk".

Deretter designet jeg to hender som kunne klappe hverandre, med realistiske klappe-lyder. Til slutt fikk jeg erfaring med lodding av kretskort.

Things that got to me in the last episode of Severance.

Those eyes. He's congratulating her on finishing her fellowship, and she's looking at him like that. I thought her fear and uncertainty were so raw, I welled up. Someone protect this child.

Watching Helena take aggressively controlled microbites of the most perfect boiled egg in human history under the watchful eye of a man who is clearly her abuser in some way or another, in many ways, was viscerally unsettling.

Also, I have never eaten anything in my entire life a fraction as delicately. I don't think I'm capable of it, and I'm okay with that. I want her to kill him, even if Helly's the one to do it. Especially if Helly's the one to do it.

"I wish you'd take them raw" and the way she looked at him, everything conveyed in that look, will never not send a shiver down my damn spine.

I had tears, again. Dylan's despair was awful, but Gretchen's was worse. If outie Dylan quits and ends innie Dylan's life to stop her seeing him, or innie Dylan quits and ends his own life, one of them is left and the other's problems are over. She has to live with it and know it no matter what, and she's clearly more drawn to the Dylan that's gone in either scenario.

It's just work, right? OH. Tears in his eyes, a little shake in his voice, and I am so, so hoping that he plays a part in everything going terribly wrong for Lumon in the end. I'm not completely convinced he will, but I really want that.

My beating, twitterpating heart. Bad guy Burt Goodman is supposed to deliver Irving to Lumon to dispose of but can't do it! Irving Bailiff had been working behind the scenes to bring Lumon down and suspected Burt of being a Lumon goon but is now totes okay with staying and risking everything to be with him.

They say goodbye as tragic, star-crossed lovers and I am both overjoyed and beside myself. Bon voyage, *buddy*. I love this love story, as heartbreaking as it is.

Watching Dylan get in that elevator to do exactly what he prevented Irving from doing at the beginning of the season interspersed with shots of Irving and his train speeding away (and Burt sitting alone looking bereft in the station), damn it to hell and back. Goodbyes are so hard.

I miss the MDR dynamic so much, but there's no going back now, and I am looking forward to eventually seeing Lumon as a whole and many people individually pay dearly for all they've done. I hope there's at least a sliver of that in the finale

R.E.P.O. enemy concept- Ex-Semi’s (honestly I’m not sure of a good name for them)

Ex-Semi’s start off in a “sleep” mode where they’re crouched all the way down with their eyes black. After a while, or when someone else comes into range of them, they activate. They tend to aimlessly wander around the level just like normal enemies do. Ex-Semi’s can talk, via TTS, saying thing like “Hey”, “Over here”, or “I found something” in an attempt to lure players to them. Ex-Smi’s always talk a deep, slightly distorted and glitchy voice, their voice is always deep, even if they’re looking up or forward. Ex-Semi’s tend to attack players who are either alone or in a group but with low health. Ex-Semi’s have 3 ways of attacking/hurting you, hitting you, tumbling, and using items they find to beat you to death with them (might be a bit OP). Ex-Semi’s are also unstable, as said before, the self destruct never went off, but if they’re damaged enough, there’s a chance that that countdown will start, and finish what it should have done in the first place, but during this countdown they will run towards anyone they can, in an attempt to anyone with them in a fiery explosion.

-Ex-Semi’s can be identified by their paint, red pupils, and black or missing eyes.

-Ex-Semi’s don’t move like normal players, their animations are somewhat more stiff and robotic.

-When an Ex-Semi moves, they make a faint robotic sound tied to their movements, they also make metallic footsteps noises.

-If an Ex-Semi kills a player with a matching color, they can take their names in attempt to fit in, only the player names are backwards on Ex-Semi’s.

-Ex-Semi’s have their own health, strength, and stamina like players do.

-Ex-Semims can take your health if you turn your backs to them. (Again, WAY too OP)

-Speaking of which, can give Ex-Semi’s your health, this doesn’t help whatsoever, they stare at you for a moment, might say thank you, and then proceed to kill you.

-There is a small chance if an Ex-Semi is by the truck when it’s time to leave, they’ll confirm to leave, starting the countdown for other players , thus making them feel what it was like to be left behind, only they blow up. (WAY TOO OP)

-Upon dying, Ex-Semi bots will say “Sweet release.”, and if killed by a player, they’ll say “Thank you.”

-Ex-Semi’s heads have almost no value and can’t be revived

-Scrapped alt where their endoskeleton arms and legs are exposed. I kinda picture them looking like Hiro’s microbits from Big Hero 6.

nRF52840 CLUE revision coming soon

Another revision! This time, it's the CLUE! (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4500) This board had a ton of unavailable sensors: the LSM6DS33 was discontinued, then the LIS3MDL price went up to $5 each, the BMP280 also went EOL, and finally, the APDS9960 was last-time-buy. We have enough to get these back in stock by swapping the LSM6DS3 for the DS33.
