A batch of anthros! I've always had pony anthros on my "will not draw" list because I was never happy with how they looked. Well now, I've finally sat down and worked out a style I like for them, and ended up taking some commissions to practice! Hello everyone!

I’m coming out with another “what’s sugar up to” type thing, but it’s a little more detailed and extensive!

I’ve been quiet on this blog for a long while, with the occasional post here and there, and I feel that my followers deserve a little more than that! So I have some explanations and future plans to share with you all.

First things first, bronycon is this weekend! Yes! This will be my 5th year going, as well as my second year vending! I’m in the Dealers Den part, table #216.

What’s new at my booth? Well... not too much really. I still have prints from last year I’m going to be selling, but I do have 2 new prints and new badges for this year :)

Though con prep can’t really be the reason I’m so slow at pushing out work, so here’s a bit of background!

I work at an amusement park, super fun! The season normally ends after October, so last year I had to get a filler job for the winter, so I ended up at a grocery store where I met my girlfriend @midnightrt , small world I know! So in the down time I was super busy with this new job and this relationship and all that good lovey stuff.

February rolled around and on Feb 8th, my grandmother passed away. It was the first death I’ve ever experienced so it hit me rather hard, and my drive for doing pretty much anything was gone. I started to get it back when on March 5th, my grandfather passed away. Which just put me back into my hole.

My amusement park job started back up on weekends only at the end of March, so I was doing those weekends + the regular job during the week, and eventually in May I switched to only the amusement park. So very limited time for art and free time.

I’ve started making fursuit parts! The furry fandom has a huge income base for me, so while I love doing pony art, one pony commission every few months vs a furry commission every other day was a little more appealing to me. I do art and fursuit parts currently, trying to build my way up!

Now I actually got promoted to a new job in the park which will run through January! I also helped get my girlfriend the same job so we’ll be making big monies side by side through this season. So I no longer work in the character department, but I moved to a different department in entertainment where we’re in charge of building everything for the new Winterfest event at the park! Super exciting and very very cool! So now we get to be bombarded with Christmas trees and so much more.

Now, where does that leave my blog?

Well, we can’t try to deny it, but the pony fandom is fading. It isn’t gone just yet, but it’s declining slowly. But I still love ponies!!! So much!!! I won’t stop drawing them anytime soon. This blog will stay the same, same name, occasional pony stuff, and I’ll be throwing some of my furry work in as well.

So hold on tight, this ride is a wild one :)

Happy New Year!

Hey everyone! SOOOOOOO I did goto Bronycon 2017. I would’ve made a “Going to Bronycon” post, but the story behind this was that I was kicking myself all week for not making plans to go. And on Thursday, I simply decided “screw it I’m going” and drove up Friday morning! Next year I will plan better haha.

But holy moly am I glad I went! I met up with a lot of great artists and folks I’ve interacted online with over the years. The pictures above are from:
