Some updates on my personal project to practice zBrush. I’ve spend some time zremeshing the assets and reconstructing the face and hands, to make it easier when I start texturing in a few days. Before that, I still have to refining some smaller details like seams and noise, and also fix the hair - I think I’ll try to play with fur and some brushes to do that.

Zero from Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma

I’m so tired of creators not disclosing the exact poly counts of their cc in the download post.

Stop putting midpoly~ on your post as there really doesn’t seem to be a universal standard for poly counts which makes not using exact numbers even worse because those standards change from creator to creator. I truly appreciate the ones who give their poly counts because I can choose to download it or just admire it and move on because I know my game can’t handle it. At the very least just help people make informed decisions on what content they put in their games by including the poly count in the post, because a lot of creators don’t seem to care how their CC can harm others computers.

(Context. I downloaded a hair that the creator claimed was “mid poly” but it was actually 56k 🙃 and I wouldn’t have known that unless I hadn’t opened it in S4S to make sure it was correctly tagged, which it wasn’t 😒.)
