If I had a nickel every time a character I liked who struggled with perfectionism and control issues and came off as harsh at times was frequently maligned within the fandom for this behavior, only for it to later come out in the narrative that they were the recipient of far worse treatment and were merely not yet sufficient in their application of an axe to the vicious cycle visited upon them, I'd actually have a really big nickel collection

it's incredibly amusing to me that lark and phineas were the first ones to set out on a rescue mission and it was this whole big moment for both of their arcs and yet harry/saskia/tzila all got to sherman first. relatedly, the funniest possible thing to happen next would be for lark and phineas to also show up to this apartment, if only because i desperately want everyone to have to explain to the two of them what the hell Hieronymous Fucking Loxlee is doing in this situation
