The ending of My Liberation Notes was truly a beginning for all the characters, it's the most well written thing ever. Really,the writers have my whole heart, despite the fact that we get no closure it's a new feeling of hope that can't even be put into words.

Definitely did justice to the essence of Slice Of Life.

i actually decided to watch my liberation notes for THE plot (sonsukku) BUT it turns out i relate too much with yeom mijeong and her thoughts and her daily life and her being far from the city and her being a daughter too and how nothing ever happens to her and no one ever likes her and her not caring if the world ended now and how her heart beats slower when good things happen to her and her being so so good at helping her family with chores and her not asking anyone for help and her holding her anger for more than 10 days and her wondering why people try so hard to be happy when all of us are just inching closer to our deaths as time goes. yeah, i literally ate everything up and cried and throwed up and started to go insane.

My Liberation Notes

One of several things I like about this series is that the romance between Mi-Jeong and Mr. Gu isn’t really something to be envious of like Romeo and Juliet love story. Most of the time, you get confused by their actions toward each other. But their subtle romance makes this series genuine and unique. And you’re just left realizing that “yeah I kind of want that kind of love as well”.

I really think about how circumstances make us. Better or worse.

Even as Gu and Mijeong made it better for each other they couldn't have had it.

They barely could walk on their own and their capacity to love each other was only the space that was left after everyone went away.

To see them in better times even as the situation between each other puts them in hell , their capacity to hold love for each other had grown so much.

SO MUCH.

Gu expresses his feelings the moment he sees her.

Mijeong doesn't feel heavy anymore.

It's just SO GOOD

But seriously, this show really has changed my whole take on happiness, love, liberation and battling loneliness. I really wish to grow like all the characters in this beautiful drama. So far, this has been the best thing I've watched in 2022.
