The Lead Masks Case Feat. DYNAMIC BANTER!

This week, Aly tells Nat and special guests Mike and Steve (of DYNAMIC BANTER!) one of Brazil’s most famous unsolved mysteries: The Lead Masks Case.

When two men are found dead on a hill surrounded by a medley of odd objects, rumors begin to circulate that an alien craft was seen hovering in the same area just moments before the men were killed. As the police begin to delve deeper into the lives of the deceased in an attempt to solve the mystery, they are met by even more confusing information. Were the men part of a cult? Did they contact an alien? Were they holding a séance? Listen now to draw your own conclusions.

Guys, it's almost 2:30am on the east coast and I'm exhausted, so I'm near tears with how excited and happy I am for The Valleyfolk tonight

Even though the judges didn't save them, they absolutely KILLED it (and, like, a LOT of birds) on Bring the Funny tonight.

And now they're up for the fan vote, and the internet turned out in droves. Last I saw, they hit #2 trending on twitter in the US and #19 worldwide, and a huge part of that is thanks to their internet/youtube friends (who I'll try to tag below) joining forces with The Valleyfolk audience and just casual BTF viewers voting for them.

Idk if it'll be enough to get them back in the competition, but I couldn't be more proud of them and excited for the level of love and support they got tonight.

Usually, stand-up comedy done in the round is done so in gigantic spaces, a stadium, auditorium, etc. and requires a larger than life personality.

This very special evening, simply called Surrounded, at the Hollywood Improv Comedy Lab will transform an already intimate venue into an even more intimate one by putting the stage smack dab in the center of the room and having the audience sit all the way around. Also, you’ll get to see the rising stars with a line-up of Mike Falzone, Lara Beitz, Jordan Perry, and Rick Glassman as well as some newly minted JFL New Faces (Hannah Einbinder and Shapel Lacey).
