Going through the Family Guy fanfiction forum has really shown me how fucking insidious Lily has always been. The shit she pulled as Tara Callie wasn’t the first time she used a sock puppet to neg her friends and make herself look benevolent in comparison.

She had her beta Tanadra (who was also secretly her girlfriend with a daughter AND had leukemia) who was mainly positive and agreed with everything Lily/Bhaal said, and also betaed for others (one of the authors/mods being negged). Who would later pretend to be Mila Kunis, get caught and reprimanded, then kill herself and her daughter.

There was Material who was also a fellow author (and a friend of Lily’s in high school), who mainly did crossovers with Lily and fandom commentary, and always, always praised Lily’s fics while heavily criticizing everyone else’s.

And then there was Soldier of Sorrow, who was just a reader who cropped up every now and then to neg, also a fellow classmate of Lily’s irl, who at one point “hacked” into Material’s account to berate another author, and then later came back right when the Tanadra stuff was happening to team-attack the mods who were upset.
