bought some oat milk and the bottle is covered in stuff about how dairy alternatives are sooo much better than real milk and "you won't miss dairy ever again!" sounds like someone is a little desperate... 1st of all u cost 3x as much as real milk and 2nd of all NONE of u are beating out the taste of whole milk. know your place. i only even tolerate your presence because of allergic people

hello help me out with this dilemma. i’m traveling to another city for work next week and on the last day of me being there, there is a chappell roan concert. the chappell roan concerts in my area have either already happened or are wildly expensive so you can see the appeal. i’m supposed to leave the morning of the concert otherwise so i’d have to change my flight to the next morning (free), figure out what to do in a random city for a whole day, and store my luggage somewhere while i’m at the concert. is this worth it

BACHELOR AU? Color me intrigued

OKAY SO basically jake becomes the bachelor after failing his way into being the only logical choice from the season of the bachelorette he competed on; actually laid out the plan for that season of the bachelorette ran for him in an ask here!! jason was the producer assigned to jake & ended up being the one talking him into taking on the role of bachelor. & then they ill-advisedly fall in love over the course of filming jake's season

in that post about jake's stint as a bachelorette contestant i talk about his limo exit during fantasy suite weeks & in my outline, it gets expanded on as the theming lead-in for the robotter fic (below the cut):

in his exit limo interview jake looked stoically out the window and was basically like, sometimes it hurts worse to lose your dreams in a really understandable way, because you run out of arguments with the universe and start to wonder if you’re not meant to get what you want. said something like, my heart isn’t breaking, i just feel kind of numb to losing out on something i wanted to work so badly, again. 

ties into his talks w kelsie about losing out on hockey 

also. this sets up the actual Theme of the robotter fic, wherein jake’s & jason’s mirrored journeys are them realizing that perhaps things they thought they've wanted, or should want, or actually did want, haven’t worked out for them before because they’ve been trying to get the wrong things. or something like that.  

i don't have much in the way of actual fic written for it yet because it is probably going to be a longfic which i have to gird myself for, etc. but also i wrote this in my outline :

for the record: what was i thinking. that sounds like even more work than a whole season's worth of the bachelor from producer-jason pov. BUT the mixed media concept got jokingly expanded in the following way when i re-opened the doc to talk about it on discord so it may or may not still end up happening whenever i circle back to this au —

Can't sleep have my review for the cold foam I bought at Aldi (unrelated to why I can't sleep)

They had 1 vanilla left ( I guess they also have mocha?) so I got it, price isn't bad. It's very sweet but not fake-y tasting so I use it in strong iced coffee and the foam breaks down into the coffee like, well, coffee foam. Sits on top at first like cappuccino foam. Just kinda use it in place of creamer and let it integrate as you sip or as it sits.

Doesn't bother my stomach, which is great because my stomach is bothered by a lot of things like that. 10/10 would buy again

which is why i dont usually call myself a shipper in any capacity because i rarely get invested in a relationship in an "i want that to happen/im going to look at fancontent for this" way. i just kind of diagnose things like a malpracticing doctor. then sit back and speculate.
