Neues im Blog: Endlich mal wieder ein volles Millerntor. Der FC St. Pauli empfängt den Tabellenführer vom SV Werder Bremen. Das Spiel wird unentschieden enden und von den Spielanteilen her, ist das auch ok. Nicht ok ist, wie dieses 1:1 zu Stande kommt. Aber der Reihe nach: kaum betreten die Spieler des FC St. Pauli den Platz zum Warmmachen, fängt es an zu hageln. Glücklicherweise ist das nur ein kurzes Intermezzo des Wetters. In the tradition of the beautiful mural of @herakut which was created at Millerntor Gallery #5, the new art work should therefore not only decorate the outside of the stadium but also re ect the values of @fcstpauli as well as the values of the @millerntorgallery and of @vivaconagua All three organizations are closely connected, deeply rooted in St. Pauli. They all identify with the quarter and its residents; and their attitude towards a life lled with colorful connectivity. Solidarity, tolerance, and the trust that a positive social change is possible create the foundation of our cooperation. To convey these principles, we make use of the universal languages of music, art, and sports. Joy is the element that connects volunteers, fans, and artists. For our unique sense of community, our activism around the globe, our optimism, as well as our motivation are based on the faith that all our activities bring joy to ourselves and the human-beings surrounding us. An anderer Stelle hatte ich hier ja schon erwähnt, dass in Torsten Körners Dokumentarfilm „Schwarze Adler“, der jetzt in der ZDF-Mediathek steht, unter anderem das deutschlandweit erste Bewegtbildinterview mit dem früheren St.-Pauli-Spieler Guy Acolatse zu sehen ist. Acolatse, 1942 in Togo geboren, ist der älteste Gesprächspartner in dem Film, im dem Körner (u.a. auch der Regisseur von „Palast der Gespenster - der letzte Jahrestag der DDR“) den Rassismus schildert, dem sich People of Colour im deutschen Fußball ausgesetzt sehen. Meine Rezension für die Medienkorrespondenz steht hier.

Acolatse, zwischen 1963 und 1966, war der erste Schwarze im bundesdeutschen Profifußball. Die Passage mit ihm im steht unter der Zwischenüberschrift „Die weiße Angst“. Er sagt, es habe ihn amüsiert, dass die Leute Angst vor ihm gehabt hätten. Ein Beispiel: Als sich zwei Gegenspieler einmal verabredet hätten („Ich nehm ihn. Wenn das nicht geht, hackst du ihn um“), habe er entgegnet: „Ich beiß dich, ich bin ein echter N****“ (Acolatse benutzt an dieser Stelle das N-Wort). Das in dem Film-Screenshot zu sehende Text-Insert bezieht sich übrigens darauf, dass Acolatse angeblich dafür gesorgt hat, dass mehr Zuschauer ins Stadion kamen. Präsident Wilhelm Koch soll gesagt haben: „Okay, ich geb dir 100 Mark extra.“

Koch dürfte sich kaum spendabel gezeigt haben, wenn es keinen Grund dafür gegeben hätte. Aus der Statistik lässt sich aber heute nicht leicht herauslesen, dass wegen Acolatse mehr Zuschauer kamen. Die Zahlen bei den ersten Heimspielen, in denen er auflief: 7.000 (gegen den AFC), 6.500 (Bremerhaven), 9.000 (BU), 5.000 (Hildesheim), 4.000 (Neumünster), 8.000 (Wolfsburg). Der Schnitt betrug am Ende der Saison 6.200, in der davor waren es 6.500 gewesen. Die Ausschläge nach oben in den genannten Spielen (7.000, 9.000, 8.000) dürften daher rühren, dass es sich um Derbys handelte (AFC, BU) bzw. um das zweite Einweihungsspiel des neuen Millerntorstadions (Wolfsburg). Wobei zur Einschätzung der Zuschauerzahlen vor dem Wolfsburg-Spiel vielleicht noch die Information hilfreich ist, dass diese „Heimspiele“ nicht am Millerntor stattfanden, sondern auf Ausweichplätzen. Interessant allerdings: Am neunten Spieltag gegen Concordia kamen signifikant weniger Zuschauer (3.000), als Acolatse nicht spielte - obwohl es ein Derby war. War schon vorher klar, dass er nicht spielen würde (etwa wegen einer Verletzung) und sind genau deshalb viele Leute zu Hause geblieben? Sonderlich plauseibel klingt das nicht.
