Does anyone remember in Minecraft Story Mode S1 E6 where there were a bunch of Minecraft YouTubers in a murder mystery? And (Spoiler alert) CaptainSparkelz died no matter what you did? And it was DanTDM that accidentally killed him? And your choices could kill LDShadowlady or the aforementioned DanTDM? And Stampylongnose was the one who stole the item that started the whole situation? And StacyPlays was there but she did nothing? And there was one random non-YouTuber character who was obviously the murderer bc she was the only non-YouTuber who survived past the scene you met him?

I loved that so much, I used to bully Stampy and kill Lizzie almost every time because they were my favorite YouTubers and I was a weird kid. R.I.P Minecraft Story Mode, I can’t believe you can’t be purchased any more.

After seeing the awfully disappointing Minecraft trailer and more awfully disapponting Jack Black's response to the hate, I decided to go back and watch DanTDM's MCSM series. I still love the game and all its graphics, animation, but mostly the story it holds. I miss MCSM guys 😔

Last movie: The Truman Show. Shit was psychological torture for poor Truman... SPOILERS AHEAD. It's fucked up seeing the audience just... watch him spiral from his inner turmoil, knowing that he knows his entire life is a TV show. And they're just entertained by it and not showing any guilt or empathy for him (except Sylvia. She's the best for trying to fight for Truman's human rights).

Sweet/Spicy/Savoury: I'm a sweet tooth all the way! Funny enough, I'm eating some marshmallows coated in chocolate and powdered sugar as I'm typing this.

if it's okay, i have a couple. warning for spoilers for some games

in pokemon mystery dungeon 2 during the scene when dusknoir is saying goodbye to treasure town. the first time i ever witnessed it as a kid i was literally so shocked but i definitely had a crush on him already bc i remember specifcally my chest started to feel super weird and i had to put the game down and freak out a little bit cuz omgomgomgomg dusknoir just kidnapped ME!!!

in zero escape: virtues last reward when you, sigma, are in the bio garden with luna. when bluebird lamentation starts playing i immediately start crying. "thank you, doctor..." drives the biggest stake thru my heart every time

any time i get to see other yiga clan members or go to karusa valley and the hideout in breath of the wild. it makes me so happy i could start crying. its my brothers and sisters and my home... i dont mind having to harm them because its just a game mechanic but i wish that maybe sometimes the hideout would repopulate...

the opening scene of fallout new vegas, when benny has you/the courier on the ground with a gun pointed at your head. it was literally an instant "shit im in love" moment but i just cant get over how GOOD it is!!!!! ive never gotten a tattoo but i need a quote from my husband somewhere

and finally. minecraft story mode season 1 episode 5 order up. the final scene where jesse has Aiden cornered on the edge of the platform and he just breaks down and begs and pleads for jesse not to do anything to him. even his voice breaks. ive never been able to send him over the edge, but you can. if you want to.

Okay but on reading the description for episode one TellTale couldn’t possibly mean AXEL of all people would let his friendships fade over time. After ALL the times he has put himself in danger for them?

After all the worrying, compassion and love he has put towards them?

How he is always amazed and somewhat idolizes Jesse, how he puts his friends before himself, even if that means going up against Magnus the rogue?

Following them to the END and back? Distracting a giant monster to buy his best friend time?

Dealing with the possibilities that they all would not make it out of this alive? 

How much that Jesse and he must trust one another for him to open up to tell them he never thought he’d be good enough? Oh how their handshake requires SO much trust to pull off?

Give your honest opinion on MCSM Season 2 Episode 2: Giant Consequences.

It was then that Grovyrosegirl realized she never made a reaction post to that episode. Whoops. 

Ahh I remember when that episode came out. I woke up first thing in the morning to play it before I had to go my class and HOO BOY it left me full of adrenaline when it was over. So short version, I loved the episode.

Spoilers ahead for anyone who might’ve not played it!

First off, the beginning of the episode is so intense. I remember being so nervous, trying to pick the right dialogue choices that WOULDN’T tick off the 20-foot golem that could’ve probably squash all of the townspeople. But of course he does anyway, and that battle was a lot of fun. But we shall not forget Romeo crushing Reuben’s memorial. Jerk move, Romeo. Jerk move. 

Also this episode was when we really started to get a grasp on who the Admin was as a character. Episode one built him up as this all-powerful creature who had an interest in Jesse for mysterious reasons. Then Episode Two comes along and reveals his true nature; an emotionally volatile control freak who will throw a fit when he doesn’t get his way. Combine that with god-powers, and you’ve got a very dangerous antagonist. And I loved every second of it!

And I think part of the reason why Romeo worked so well as an antagonist was because he felt the most real out of all the MCSM villains. Because, let’s face it, a lot of us know a Romeo, or have at least seen one online. Especially in gaming communities. 

But enough about him. Other little things I liked about the episode:

Radar was adorable in this episode, and it kicked off his arc about becoming a hero. 

Lukas rushing in to save Jesse on horseback like a freaking Disney Prince. Hehehehe. 

Jesse and Petra’s relationship strain starting to grow more in this episode. (Seriously Petra, communicate with your friends, darn it.)

The ice palace setting was gorgeous. 

Snowman Admin was hilarious and scary at the same time. 

The REVEAL at the end. Still have goosebumps.
