Minecraft Gauntlet Tower

A concept for a new structure in Minecraft, the Gauntlet Tower. A vertical counterpart to the Trial Chambers made of Jadeite and Iron, this is where Floods spawn and where Thunder Spines can be found.

back before minecraft had infinite worlds, i was exploring a new world when i came to the edge of it and saw a small ring shaped structure made out of glowstone. i told my siblings but no one believed that i hadn’t built it myself. sitting here thinking about it after so many years, it JUST occurred to me that i now have the power of the internet at my disposal, so if anyone knows of how a glowstone structure would have appeared in a brand new untouched limited minecraft world, PLEASE let me know. this has bothered me for over a decade.

something I find so funny is the amount of MCD rewrites/MCD inspired written works that are dedicated to becoming a novel in the future because like imagine ten or so years go by and booktok has evolved however it does and now there are like 300+ books about a goddess being reborn into a new world and her inexplicably gay knights. and all the MCs have an A name

i finally have a solid script for my piglin conlang! i still need to work on the lexicon, but at the very least i have a form of writing :)

as a bonus, both xotha and narcissus, with their names written in piglin

narcissus gets both a transliteration and a specific name in piglin, dzivetlet translates to "little leader" and there are story reasons for that name and the consequences, but i won't delve too far into it now

protein guy analysis:

all of these proteins look vaguely similar, and the differences between them match up with what tends to happen at varying protein sizes on this blog. the first part (speaker 1) is the largest, and just becomes chaotic like many of the longest sequences, with very little secondary structure. speaker 2 part 1 is the shortest, and looks the closest to a typical structure with several alpha helices, but it is still mostly made up of loops. and speaker 2 part 2 is somewhere in the middle, with some secondary structure, but also longer and straighter loops that can be seen circling around the rest of the molecule. this one is my least favourite of the three. i did not enjoy doing this and the first picture is a pretty good representation of my current mental state.
