*inherited tsurugi’s strong sense of justice but thanks to yamato he isn’t a light yagami about it,he just enforces the rules.

*he gets accused of murder in the first chapter and his whole defense is “but I wouldn’t do that”

*manages to take the spot and both smartest and dumbest person in the room(he’s unaware but he’s really good at solving mysteries)

SMSBI AU Masterpost!

Ok so masterpost time! This is mostly a rundown of the happenings in the AU, what role each character plays/their rundown. As an important note, if a CC at any time makes it known that they are uncomfortable with anything I do or include in this AU, it will be removed! There will be no smooth narrative exit, I’ll edit so it would have never happened.

This is set in New York City, during the modern day!

Tommy Robin (15 y/o):

He’s a sophomore in high school (Year 11 for the Europeans)

He got his spider powers at the end-of-year field trip in 7th grade to a science center! He was bitten by a radioactive spider, thus giving him his abilities.

He spends his 8th grade year making sure he has a handle on his powers (I mean, come on, he’s read comics. Now that he has these powers, surely he has to go out into the city and become a vigilante!) and making his spidersuit with his best friend, Tubbo!

He has the following abilities: super strength, spidey sense, increased regeneration, able to stick to walls/ceilings, and his own ~~unique~~ ability to teleport within a short range (anywhere within a 15 foot radius)

He wears his emotions on his sleeve, and is not the best liar.

Wilbur Robin (16 y/o):

He’s a junior in high school (Year 12 for the Europeans)

He has a twin brother: Techno Robin! Wilbur was born second rip

He loves music so much, oh my god-- he has his own guitar and spends most of his time writing original songs and busking on the streets of NYC. 

Help this kid, he’s so sleep deprived, he spends way too much time trying to become a well-known musician. He’s really good, too! He’s just not getting recognized for his talents.

Wilbur (nicknamed Wil) is so oblivious to situations, god bless him man

Techno Robin (16 y/o):

He’s a junior in high school (Year 12 for the Europeans)

He has a twin brother: Wilbur Robin! Techno was born first tho lol

He works at a Barnes and Noble, and is on the high school’s Academic Decathlon team! He’s very smart, he knows his shit. You can’t fool him.

Probably has a caffeine addiction, let’s be real. Who is a gifted kid and doesn’t have some sort of caffeine addiction?

Unlike Wilbur, he’s not oblivious At All. He’s lowkey suspicious of Tommy: is he Spider-Man? He has a list in his head, but come on. There are so many people in New York, it can’t possibly be his little brother!

...right?

Phil Robin (36 y/o):

He works as tech support (like answering calls and helping customers) at Huxley Industries, which specializes in scientific/medical tech, as well as household gadgets.

Since he is raising three boys on his own, he has another part-time job at a convenience store.

I won’t go into too much detail, but the bio mom of the three kids divorced and they agreed for her to have no part in their lives.

ANYWAYS changing tone! He’s a very caring dad to his 3.5 kids (the half kid being Tubbo because he’s always with Tommy so he becomes a pseudo kid overnight)

All I can say is Big Dad Energy(TM)

He doesn’t want his kids to worry or overwork themselves. He just wants them to be safe and be successful in whatever career they pursue. No matter what, he’s supporting them. 

Tubbo Cooper (15 y/o):

Tommy’s absolute best friend, he’s ride or die, man.

A sophomore in high school (Year 11 for Europeans!)

Helped Tommy make his spider suit! He’s really talented with mechanical engineering!

He lives ten minutes away from Tommy, often visiting him and vice versa.

He learned basic first aide! After every patrol, he meets Tommy in an alleyway and helps cleanup any injuries that would raise concern to his family. Though, he did promise that if a fight ever got out of hand, he would call and tell Phil.

He’s the man in the chair! Think Ned from the MCU and Ganke from Miles Morales’s story.

Installs cameras in Tommy’s suit so he can see what Tommy sees at all times, so he can give the most accurate info.

God he loves his friend, and yes gamers, he still loves bees ;D

Jordan Cooper (25 y/o):

Tubbo’s older brother! He does his best.

This one isn’t too obvious, but it’s CaptainSparklez!

It’s the Captain! He got the nickname from Tubbo, since he was Percussion Captain in his high school’s marching band and Tubbo instantly started calling him Captain

He works as a video game designer/programmer, or so that’s what he says...

He has a mini-van and no you can’t convince me otherwise.

He watches over Tubbo, as his older brother, since their parents aren’t around.

He has a strict moral compass, he believes in justice above all else. Without justice, good cannot be accomplished.

He works out so much, he has a little gym in the apartment.

George Alexander (30 y/o):

Since I don’t think this one is inherently obvious, it’s GeorgeNotFound oop--

He’s the founder and CEO of Huxley Industries, and also the villain Inveni (thank you Jean for the poggers name)

He works with his two “buddies,” Dream and Sapnap, who only go by their villain names. 

Think Kingpin.

Messed up morals, but untouchable: if you try to bring him down, his money can make him recover.

Dream (??? y/o):

Think Mysterio, but like. Not special effects.

He is a master of illusions! He loves getting into his enemy’s head and just messing with them. To him, mental damage is the most powerful.

How he got his powers is unknown to the public, but it’s thought that he got them alongside Sapnap.

Sass Master 10,000(TM)

Sapnap (??? y/o):

Think Fire Elemental, but like. Human.

He has the ability to summon and manipulate fire to however he sees fit! He’s a bit more of a brute, and my god, he hates the sass he gets from Spider-Man.

His power’s origins, just like Dream’s are unknown, although there is speculation.

Future characters may be added, but the above are who we have so far!

Additional Facts:

Tommy has a white/red suit, with blue and purple accents. It’s mostly white with red lining!

Tommy has saved Wilbur and Phil, without them knowing. Wilbur began busking in the wrong area, and nearly got jumped, and Phil was on a hijacked subway train.

Phil panic cleans, this is canon.

It took Tubbo and Tommy MONTHS to figure out the perfect web fluid formula. Imagine their absolute joy when they figure it out!

                                     SIMDROIDS MODPACK

It’s finally here! My first mod for TS4!! I’ve poured about 70+ hours worth of blood, sweat, and tears into this bad boy over the past month and it’s fiiiinally done.  This is a mod that I plan to continue to update with new content in the future, mostly in regards to the gameplay aspect of the mod itself.

                                                WHAT IS IT?

Simdroids

 is a traits based mod that gives you something a little different to play with, with the options of creating Simdroids to live amongst your sims. 

The mod consists of one trait, the

T-4L0S

 trait (under lifestyle) that is the basic model of every Simdroid. Once in game, you Simdroid can be programmed to one of 4 different modes; Perfect Partner, Celebdroid, Homemaker, and Manual Laborer.

Basic Model

- The basic T-4L0S model is an all-rounder designed to make your Sims lives easier. They will not experience need decay and will learn all skills at an accelerated rate.

Perfect Partner

- This mode will give your Simdroid whims and interactions that will help them to become a perfect match for your Sim. They will be able to learn skills such as charisma much faster. Due to the social nature of this setting, Perfect Partner Simdroids will experience social need decay. 

Celebdroid

- These Droids make perfect celebrities, as they learn all musical and theatrical skills much faster. Their whims will be related to all things creative! They also experience social decay!

Homemaker

- When programmed to Homemaker, Simdroids will become a perfect live-in Nanny! They will take care of children and cook meals for the family, great for when the parents are working late. Their whims will relate to children and taking care of the home. Homemaker Droids do not experience need decay. 

Manual Laborer Droid

- These droids will take care of all handy issues around the house and excel at growing a garden. They will learn all handy and gardening related skills at an accelerated rate. Manual Laborer Droids do not experience need decay.

Childroid

- Due to overwhelming response, I implemented a separate trait for toddlers, children and teens, called ‘Perfect Child’. They learn at an accelerated rate and will get whims related to completing homework and learning skills. Childroids will experience energy decay.

They have an option in their social interactions to turn both their hunger and temperature sensitivity on/off.

**Due to technically being a machine, Simdroids do not age. (You can cheat age them up though)

Every programmable option comes with custom moodlets and interactions!

Simdroids will always have a +10 fine moodlet, to keep them at a consistent ‘emotionless’ state. 

                                                DEVIANCY

Sometimes your Simdroids will see or interact with something that will trigger an error in their coding, an ‘emotion’!

If you decide it is time for your Simdroid to deviate, and become a fully emotional being, then take your Simdroid to any lot with my custom ‘Simdroid Safe Haven’ lot buff. 

Any Simdroid on the lot will get a buff that unlocks a social interaction to begin the first stages of their deviancy. Follow the buffs from there to complete the mini-quest!

If you get stuck or decide you prefer going about a faster route,

read this 

for a step-by-step guide on how to deviate!

Deviancy is supposed to be played slowly, to replicate more of a roleplay experience, so just be warned that if you complete all the stages quickly, the buffs will all stack on each other!

After deviating, all Deviants can trigger the first stage of Deviancy in other Simdroids, just with an interaction!

- Basic Simdroid trait, with all programmable traits. - Childroid Trait - New Career (Simdroid Mechanic) with two branches (Mechanical Mogul and Blackmarket Bio-Magnate) - Deviation - Many new interactions (not just for Simdroids) - New holiday tradition (Appreciate Simdroids) - New lot buff (Simdroid Safe haven) - 2 frankenmeshed objects (Simdroid mechanic cabinet and basket o’componants) - 1 new female hair, MM swatches, with glowing cable accessories under hats and different bandana swatches under necklaces. - 3 new female outfits - 3 new male outfits (Almost all outfits have emission maps, so parts of the textures glow and flash!

***Need to knows***

- Needs WILL go down if engaging in an interaction that puts a need decay multiplier on the sim. For example, working out will lower hygiene. I hope to change this in an update. - Childroids cannot currently deviate, if people want this, I will put this in an update!

- After all is said and done, this is my first mod, there are probably going to be a few rough edges but I’ve tried to get everything in tip top shape. Please let me know if you experience a game breaking bug or smthn

MEET GIANNA MENDOZA

Bio: Gianna isn’t used to being the “It” girl. Growing up, she was much more used to being that girl in the back of the class trying to blend in with the wallpaper. Her insecurities were borne out of years of bullying at the hands of her classmates: whether it be snarky comments about her weight, or taunts about her love of all things “nerdy,” Gianna almost always found herself as the butt of everyone else’s jokes. As such, she didn’t grow up with a ton of friends, and it wasn’t until she entered the online gaming community that she found her people. Online, she was able to be herself and have that be enough, and the friendships she cultivated would become a bright spot in her life for the rest of her adolescence. When it came time to apply to university, Gianna knew without a doubt that she wanted to pursue a degree in computer programming. Her years of gaming, while fun, had shown her that there was still a gap in the gaming world that needed to be filled when it came to diverse character design, including better representation of women and ethnic minorities in MMOs and first person shooter genres. Today, Gianna works at as a programmer at a indie game start up led by a woman majority team. Though her interests haven’t changed, her confidence in herself has, and these days she’s working hard to not take anyone’s shit and stand up for herself.

Other Facts:

Gianna comes from a BIG family; there’s her parents (who are divorced), step-dad and step-mom, half brother Luka from her mother’s second marriage, her older sisters Nicole and Jess, and older brother, Gabriel. Her father takes care of their family dogs, Kita and Lola. Gianna is the second youngest, with Luka being 7 years younger than her.

Gianna is the type that needs to warm up to people. Don’t dare leave her alone at a party if you’re the only one she knows: she always needs a buffer present to help break the ice between her and strangers lol

Gianna is used to being overlooked not just because of her history with bullying, but because her extended family is even more huge than her immediate one. Family gatherings often featured her retreating to the nearest bathroom to play on whatever handheld console she had at the time, and avoid being asked for the eleventh time how school’s going

Though she can be a bit reclusive, she’s a very sweet person and very affectionate and caring for her friends once you get close to her. The type to get big mad if anyone messes with her friends (think mad little cinnamon bun lol)

Gianna’s dating history is limited mostly to her college days. She discovered her freshman year that she was pan, and has gone on a few dates over the years with people who approached her, but nothing ever progressed to anything more serious. As such she’s definitely “inexperienced,” but looking to change that if she finds the right person

When it comes to “types”, she’s not as fussed about what someone looks like as she is about how they treat other people: are you nice to wait staff at restaurants? How do you handle your temper during an argument? Are you too proud admit when you’re wrong? Gianna favors people who are gentle and kind and value community over being the one “in charge”. Though she will admit, she’s a sucker for anyone with a nice smile and beautiful blue eyes lol

Other interests besides gaming include anime, DND (she plays online with a group of friends), superhero movies, and mini golf. She’s willing to try other people’s hobbies at least once, but she’ll typically do as much research on the subject as possible before a meetup so that she’ll have talking points ready to keep the conversation from drying up lmao

Gianna wants just as big of a family as she grew up with, but this time she wants to run it the way she wishes she were raised, giving equal attention to all her kids

She’s coming on the show in hopes of making a real connection without having to worry about any of her insecurities. Hopefully she’ll find the one!

Gil is actually a nickname. Malcolm doesn’t find out until his sophomore year in college that Gil is short for Guillermo. He gets so many jokes about being named after Guillermo del Toro

No one calls him Guillermo except for when his sister wants to make fun of him. She also likes full naming him and Malcolm laughs when he finds out Gil’s full name is Guillermo Magtanggol Arroyo

He has a twin sister played by Tia Carrere. Her name is Ula and she is the ultimate lesbian vodka aunt. She’s the Mabel to his Dipper (the original mystery twins!) and she's the reason Malcolm's zaniness doesn't affect him. Well, most of the time

Ula is older by three minutes and she never lets Gil forget it. She was also an inch taller than him for most of their childhood until he shot up like a weed the summer before eighth grade 

She calls him “fish head” as revenge because sinigang na ulo (fish head in tamarind broth) is his favourite dish

He’s half Filipino. His mother was an immigrant who came from Manila in the 1940s while his father was a Spanish national 

Gil and Ula were raised by their mother Bituin, who was also known by her English name, Gilda. Gil’s father wasn’t really in the picture so he took his mom’s last name instead 

He grew up in a predominantly Puerto Rican neighbourhood and learned how to speak Spanish from the regulars at the panadería down the street from his childhood home 

Gil knows how to sing. He grew up listening to his mom’s old bossa nova records as well as Chicano rock musicians like Ritchie Valens. He often sings La Bamba whenever he feels nostalgic 

He’s allergic to oysters, something he calls “rich people food”, and he shares this with Malcolm. Jessica sometimes jokes that Malcolm inherited it from him

His late wife Jacqueline “Jackie” Morales is played by Lauren Vélez. She was a horticulturist at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens 

She and the Arroyo twins have been best friends since kindergarten. Gil was totally smitten with Jackie since day one, but didn't realize it until he turned twenty one 

Gil has a daughter played by Sharon Leal, who he considers his miracle baby. He and Jackie had her about five years after they married and they couldn't have any more bio kids after that

She’s called Tulip, but it's not her real name. It's something that Jackie came up with because she worked on a new tulip garden throughout her pregnancy and there were tulips in the OBGYN’s office the day they found out they were having a girl 

Her real name is Elizabeth after Elizabeth Ramsey, who was Gil’s mother’s favourite actress. She’s a programmer who specializes in translation software and inherited her dad's calm attitude and her mom's witty sense of humour

Malcolm is five years younger than her and he’s like the awkward little brother she never had. They like going through old family albums together and making Jackie's recipes and their relationship is like Elena and Alex’s sibling dynamic on One Day at a Time

She was the one who convinced Malcolm that he’d be good enough to apply to Quantico when he was thinking about going while he was the one who convinced Tulip that she was good enough to apply to Yale’s computer science program 

And Gil is also a grandpa! He has a four year old granddaughter. He didn’t get to see her very often until Tulip and her music composer husband Victor, played by Sacha Dhawan moved back to New York so she could start kindergarten 

Her full name is Tala Jacqueline Maradiya and she’s Jackie’s mini me. Gil has taken to calling her Junior while Tala calls him lolo 

Tala knows everyone on her grandpa's team, including uncle JT and her aunts Dani and Edrisa. Malcolm is known as weird uncle Mal who always has lollipops on him 

Gil, Jackie, and Jessica were in a Professor Marston and the Wonder Women situation after Malcolm turned thirteen. It lasted until Jackie’s death three years ago and Gil and Jessica have been somewhat estranged ever since 

He’s always on the lookout for new street food stalls. It’s been a tradition for him and Ula to explore new Caribbean and Southeast Asian eateries in Queens when they were kids and he revived it when Edrisa was feeling homesick for Hawaii 

Restoring vintage cars has been a hobby of his since he was fourteen. His aunt, who Gil always said reminded him of Rosie the Riveter owned an auto body shop in Queens and he used to spend weekends helping her reassemble and paint classic cars from the 50s and 60s 

His aunt is the one who gave him his rabbit’s foot 

Gil knows how to style hair after a lifetime of helping Ula and Jackie with their hair. He did the same for Tulip while she was growing up and is continuing the tradition with Tala
