I hate screens so much like they make me feel so icky.

Ok rant time

I’m a comsci student and staring at screens is my job essentially. And I’m ok with staring at screens for work, yeah I get eye strain and it sucks but at least my brain is working and being used.

I hate staring at the screen and feeling like engaged in anyway. Needless to say that my biggest complaint is doomscrolling. 

Now I’m not saying that I don’t doomscroll and that I’m better than everybody I scroll quite a bit, but I hate that I do it. I can actually feel my brain rotting and deteriorating, and I can’t stop once I start . And the effect that it has on me is not fun, and I hate it. 

So something I am doing in order to avoid Doomscrolling is reading! I used to be a huge reader, and honestly It kinda has been helping!
