11 and 14 :3c
11: Talk about the best dream you've ever had.
well, heck. guess I’ll get into it here! I’ll put it under a read more, it’s a lot.
so the dream started with me, a jigglypuff and a clefairy on a broomstick riding through a tunnel made of brick, protruding firey columns threatening to knock us down. we were being pursued by many witches and mummies and other such halloween monsters for some reason? which was scary, but then with a WOOSH we were out of the tunnel and above a dark, long stretch of highway with only the occasional illuminated billboard. after a bit of flying along we ended up crashing onto a foggy floating island, where the adventure really began.
we had to be careful, as a sleeping snorlax was just nearby and we didn’t want to figure out his moveset. we crawled through a log to avoid him and made our way down to a big sandy valley, where suddenly we were being chased by a giant 18 wheeler?!?! we dodge behind mesa after mesa, losing it after a bit in a narrow corridor before coming across a long line of old video game characters. like spyro, crash bandicoot, diddy kong- you know, childhood. (I was in elementary school at the time of this dream.)
we made our way to the front of the line into a cave to find an event- grind all the way across this rail stationed above a deep, dark abyss, and win a trophy! except if you fall, you dead. yeesh. so we considered it, but since I was terrible at sports and jigglypuff and clefairy barely had legs, we begrudgingly decided against it. However, Tiny Kong (of donkey kong 64) offered to win the prize for us! bravely and brazenly showing off to the crowd, she managed to get all the way to the end, jump over the last little bump and BAM. DID IT. WON THE TROPHY.
we put the trophy in our inventory and continued to a foreboding bridge made of giant rib bones and large white tiger-esque faces. as we climbed, though, clefairy lost her grip! we tried to save her but.... to no avail. she was lost to the abyss. we had a quick cry but had to push forward.
after crossing the bridge we reach a small beach party next to a creek. theyre under a life boat held up by 4 wood pieces, having a bonfire and a good time. we need to cross the river to continue, though, and suddenly it’s raging. luckily, a friend of mine’s father (who was a GIANT all of a sudden) offered to take us across on his shoulders. we accepted, though the water nearly got up to us when he waded through. terrifying.
so he dropped us on the island nearby where we decided to take a quick nap. however, this quick nap turned into a hibernation. snow began to fall, as we woke up to santa delivering us a gift?? how odd. but when we opened it up, jigglypuff and I started crying immediately-- it was clefairy, safe and sound!! we hugged. we cried. then I woke up and explained it to my parents and never ever forgot it.
THE END
14: Talk about a vacation.
so my family and I have been going to Cancun, Mexico since I was a little kid. we always go to the same resort so it’s very familiar. when I was 16, I kind of obtained a squad of about 30 kids.
on the first day, I made friends with three minnesotan kids with funny accents. I mean, mad funny. but they made fun of the fact that I say the word ‘y’all’ so I don’t even feel bad about it. two of them looked EXACTLY like my dad’s girlfriend’s son, which freaked me out a whole lot.
we grouped up with a nice girl named jessica after a bit, and spent the rest of the week hanging out. we went pretty hard-- our team for water polo was unstoppable.
we met two people named matt- one was jeans matt who wouldnt change pants even on the beach, and the other was a country boy with a very nice sister who also joined the squad. jeans matt was given an adult wristband by his father who thought it’d be hilarious to see him drunk (he was 16) and so that was.... a weird part of the week.
anyway, we spent a lot of time in the kids club playing music on the jukebox and losing miserably at pool, slowly gathering more people to the squad. a nice russian boy joined up and became good friends with The Sister, and I met a boy named Max-- we both had on Monster energy drink hats, so we hit it off pretty quick. he was 14 or 15, and he was mad flirty.
after a couple days of sun, fun, and dumb kid tomfoolery, I decided I wanted to have a first kiss, and this boy would be the perfect opportunity for it. he liked to brag about all the girls he supposedly kissed or whatever, yadda yadda. well anyway, up on the tennis courts it happened. a quick peck, nothing exciting. and then I decided “yep that was neat I’m done here bye” and just kinda. left?? haha. he didn’t care, he started pursuing The Sister after that, so it was kinda funny.
anyway, by the time the week was over I had about 30ish kids following me around and teaming up for sports, and I wasn’t super excited to leave. but alas, the week was over, and I had to return home. I’ll always remember them fondly.
oh, also, there was a giant metal cock statue. mom hated when my brother and I pointed it out.
