Middle of a battle. Lloyd’s phone rings. He stops mid sword swing to pull his phone from his pocket and answers it immediately going ‘hiiiiiii mom :) 💖 no I’m not busy :)’

Lloyd swears, but never in any human language. Instead they kinda grumble and growl like a dragon. They learnt it because when they first moved in with the ninja Wu used to curse ALOT. He used to grumble and the rest of the ninja just thought it was normal and just somthing he did but Lloyd started picking up on it after awhile.

Misako can't speak in dragon but she understands a decent amount. She was not happy when Lloyd started copying Wu.

Cole Accidently Calling Wu "Dad"

Cole, bursting into Lloyd's room: HELPPP- Lloyd: Woah, dude, what happened??? Cole: I CALLED WU DAD Lloyd: ...What? Cole: *panicking* I CALLED MASTER WU DAD, LLOYD, WHAT DO I DO???? Lloyd: I-I don't know- Cole: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *meanwhile, with Wu...* Misako: Wu...? Are you okay? Wu, with tears in his eyes: He called me dad.

I'll never shut up about how some of y'all unironically be treating Misako. Y'all treat her like she dumped Lloyd in the forest when he was just born and the Darkley's teachers found him there or something. She enrolled him in a fucking boarding school, it's not exactly abandonment, when you enroll your son in a school and he has to live there for some time.

ALSO Lloyd forgave her!!! He is okay with her !!! Because she literally just. Enrolled him in a shitty school when he was younger. And yes he was bullied a lot in that school, but Lloyd made peace with that shit ages ago.

Y'know who Lloyd HASN'T forgiven yet? Garmadon. While their relationship is seen to be better as of the end of Crystalized, it's clearly still Not The Best, and Lloyd spent the whole season not wanting to achieve his oni form because it reminded him of Garmadon!!!

He was so scared of being like Garmadon that even as he was WINNING, when he SAW what he was, he was fucking terrified!!!! He actively avoids ever being like Garmadon, because his father scares him.

Finally finished my concept for a Dragon's Rising Misako after 3 separate ideas. Hanging onto the idea of her being a traveling merchant, but also wandering the realms in search of answers for the merge and about that new forbidden Spinjitzu. This is prime time to remember that Misako does Spinjitzu too guys, I know it was a one season only thing but you gotta remember it'll be cool I promise. (Please don't repost my art, reshares are chill tho)

Who decided his middle name was MONTGOMERY. I mean, seriously. Did Misako sit there thinking about a beautiful, perfect name Lloyd and then slap him with MONTGOMERY to humble him? What happened? I bet it was Garmadon. He did it.

The fact there are people in this fandom who legitimately believe post-S8 Garmadon is a better parent than Misako…

Y’all, please get some media literacy, please. The show has gone out of its way to show that post-S8 Garm is NOT a good person or father, no matter how you slice it. Misako, think what you want of her, has made up with Lloyd and had a good relationship with him for ten years (IRL time since the episode’s air date), and 15 seasons. Like her or not, she isn’t and hasn’t been a bad mother to Lloyd since her debut episode, Garmadon (post-S8) objectively has been.

I love Garmadon as much as everyone else, but we can like a character while also acknowledging their shitty actions and behaviors (and before anyone comes for me, YES, I do this for Misako too. I acknowledge fully how her actions pre-S1 hurt Lloyd, but I also acknowledge nothing she could’ve done in that situation wouldn’t have been damaging to him).
