I'm catching up with HxH so I wanted to doodle something.

I love the Xi-Yu's.

Post mortem nen is fucked.

Hisoka used post mortem nen to revive himself, but only so he could pursue Chrollo anew for revenge or pleasure, however you interpret his obsession. Basically what I'm saying is that Hisoka refused death to pursue his own selfish goal.

Contrast this with Misha Hao.

Her ability post-mortem serves entirely to protect the Xi-Yu family on their climb to the top. While Hisoka rebelled agienst his death for himself, Misha "accepted" hers for the organization.

This contrast tells us a lot about Misha and a little more about post mortem nen; namely, how it interprets goals and intentions differently. I would say that Hisoka's goal is to survive, but only by the skin of his teeth. While Misha views her life as less important than avoiding suspicion on the Xu-Yi family. These aspects of their characters are explained beatifully by how nen interprets their wishes.

A goodbye

After almost 12 (!) years, it’s time for me to say goodbye to this blog. It will not be deleted though.

Spn crew joins The Boys  February 26 Several of the Spn crew are to be joining The Boys in Season three.  Meredith Glynn,a co-executive producer and writer on Spn, will serve as an executive producer on The Boys. David Reed, writer and script coordinator on Spn, will serve as executive producer on The Boys. Jim Michaels, producer and later co-executive producer on, will be a co-executive producer on The Boys. Soldier Boy Costume  February 26 Photos of Jensen's stand-in on The Boys, wearing the Soldier Boy costume were making rounds on Twitter. Fans were unhappy with the look, but it could just be because the picture was very blurry and poorly lit. It should also be noted that the Boys uses CGI and green-screen editing to change the appearance of costumes after filming, so this outfit does not look exactly like the final version that will appear in the show when it is released.  Link to original post
