Wish that the writers had done more for Cas having names for things in enochian. Like the fact that he calls it his “angel blade” you know there’s gotta be a technical term for that in enochian. Or are we to believe that he is so whipped that when Dean Winchester coins a term for something, even something he has had for a millennia, he calls it whatever Dean calls it?

Once again I am asking people to get that the writers of spn are not why Destiel wasn't openly acknowledged. They were the ones trying to get it into the text however they could as far as they could within a restrictive corporate entertainment system and that pushing blame onto those writers as if they flunked at Destiel and failed Destiel is an attack on the actual people who were trying to Destiel.

do you guys ever think about how spn would not. be. spn without castiel like how it felt like so much of the time some writers did everything they could to keep dean and cas away from each other how the story is about breaking free from the narrative and how chuck was a self insert for the writers team and chuck had this grand plan for dean and sam but no matter what cas got in the way of that and how he was the outlier every. time. and he was the only reason they broke out of the narrative how HE WAS THE REASON and even in the ending they kept him away they got rid of him but spn would NEVER have been what it was without him and chuck knows that which means the writers know that I oml I could just keep going looping back and forth I have so many feelings about this

Twitter is festering bog of bad takes & misdirected fears & hate but there are some gems like Ben Edlund one of the writers of Supernatural replying with why Castiel loves bees. Honestly I would be so more down with cons if the writers and directors are there. I know for a lot of fans especially shippers they want writers and directors to back whatever ship they have but I'm 100% ok with writers not having that intent when they wrote a character or storyline. They are after all the creators of that story. Of course once a story is told, just in that process of it being heard or watch it changes based on the viewers reaction.
