heyy, I just found your blog <33why are there so many images of people 😳😳 is this for practice or do people actually want to know their types?? i'm very intrigued and confused !!
over and out 😃
I like the image-heavy format - it's like having a wall of polaroids that I can reorganize at will. I've typed about 7200 people now, and I forget a lot of them, so it's nice to have the reminder of their faces. It also gives me a sense of if they 'look wrong' in the tag so they can be retyped.
I wouldn't call this practice because that seems like I've got it figured out and am just keeping my hand in it. It's more for the frustration relief and short intervals of clarity. My brain likes solving puzzles. This is a puzzle.
I think it's pretty clear that yes, a lot of people do want to know their mbti types. Most people don't ask me about it though; I'm not particularly official. Of the 7200 people typed, I've had any kind of contact with seven (as far as I know), and most of that from after they've been posted.
I do get requests to type people who follow my blog or occasionally drop by, and I've been known to run a typing challenge (#GetSorted) where if people submit a video of themselves, I will type them, but most of those videos aren't posted publicly.

opinion: extroverts are easier to type than introverts
in mbti stacks, functions that are lower or inferior are often expressed through functions that are higher or more dominant.
especially if the inferior/tert functions are unhealthy, it's common to see that they almost "corrupt" or "cling" onto the dominant function, which is often why we see theories about loops, jumps, or grips.
this means that introverted functions are more visible when expressed through extroverted ones, since it's much clearer when they work together.
think of it like this: extroverted functions are windows, while introverted functions are walls. you can see through a window, but you have to break it down to see through a wall.
this also applies to objective/subjective functions, as those who are high in objective functions have higher visible subjective functions than the other way around.

mbti and enneagram typing for @loupdelta
this blog will forever be beach themed
Tumblr media
mbti: estj (ne heavy)
let’s begin with your thinking/feeling functions: te/fi. the questionnaire started off describing how you liked your job because of it’s thinking and logical aspects, which is the embodiment of higher placed thinking functions. there are also moments where you briefly convey te traits. for example, desiring logical consistency in life, and hating changing your mind unless absolutely unnecessary.
what leaned me towards te over ti was your relationship with authority. like many mbti types high in thinking, you find yourself logically critical of rules inflicted upon you. in response, you evaluate these rules against your own framework of logic and thought, which could indicate either te or ti. the key difference, however, is that you aren’t heavily influenced by your environment, and don't easily change this framework of logic. you even have clear expectations for how authority should behave, which is more characteristic of te.
even then, the inferior fi is pretty clear. you mention that it takes a long time for you to process your emotions. emotions may be worrying for you due to their importance (te and fi). you are also a very “consequence’ oriented type, as you described in dealing with emotions, indicating you prioritize objective functions, particularly te.
for your intuitive functions, it really came down to wether you were higher in si, or ni, with si winning out for a couple reasons (listed from least to most important/impactful)
you’re good at memorizing, esp for pleasure
need practical experience to master something (sensory>intuition)
doesn’t like doing things at random, or being in an unpredictable situation
sometimes enjoy taking risks (tertiary ne – boredom functions silliness)
in art and writing you are messy spontaneous (again, tertiary ne expressing itself)
prefers to know consequences of actions or situation
regains energy in predictable environment (but gets bored because of tertiary ne)
tertiary functions are the playground function in one's stack, almost like one's inner child. they are "cognitively comforting," a source of balance in day-to-day life that can often be categorized as tiring or draining.
also, the way you use ne is very playful. at a “high,” you enjoy meeting new people, doing new things, or getting opportunities. even you yourself describe ne behavior as a way to refuel when life gets repetitive (te-si). any “big picture” or intuitive-imitating traits likely stem from te, rather than ne.
this is also why i am not typing you as an entj or even intj. i don't see you using a lot of ni in comparison to your ne. if anything, i would alternatively type you as an intp or even entp, as i am much more sold on your sensory/intuition functions rather than your thinking/feeling functions. (i elaborate more at the very bottom of this post)
the biggest argument against si would probably be your “clumsiness” (using hands, breaking things on accident, daydreaming often). this is again, probably ne. or alternatively, this is just a lack of se in your stack. even if you show these traits, you also show a lot of te and si working together as dominant and auxiliary functions (impatient when physical tasks don’t work out, doesn’t like vague questions, hyper aware of resources and time, etc etc).
enneagram: 3w4 sp/so, 3w4 5w6 9w8 (356)
alternative enneagram: 6w5 ??/sp 638
your primary type is most likely sp3 (pretty obvious so i'll keep the explanation brief):
afraid of weaknesses being shown (slight 8)
like to motivate, energize, and "foster a cooperative environment" (could be sp3 but you only do this when necessary it seems)
focused on achievements
afraid of failure
pragmatic almost
the wing for the 3 was pretty unclear for me. you are not very prideful in either the 2 or 4 sense. i went with 4, as i don't see that much on shame or something that indicates 2 with your relationships with those around you.
also, somewhere in your tritype, there's a 5 fix. if it's not your core type, than it is definitely a strong fix, especially when winged with 6. from what you describe, regaining energy when alone is indicative of sp5. the interest in learning about how the brain works or understanding how others think aligns with the traits of a 5w6 or 6w5. you also say that some questions are vague, which checked out with how meticulous a 5 can be sometimes. lastly, not liking when things get out of hand, and often indirectly take control of a situation is 5w6.
in my opinion, you have a stronger enneagram 9 influence than you might realize. while you don't fit the stereotypical image of a 9, this aspect of your personality seems to be a fallback mechanism or a way to handle trivial or quick decisions. the desire for an independent life with peace and the fear at being betrayed by loved ones could hint at type 6.
bonus: socionics!
socionics is not my strong suit but dichotomy-wise, you are obstinate over yielding definitely. you are also a little bit more far sighted and logical>ethical. this means you are most likely LII or ILI, maybe even LSE just to match your mbti

enneagram/mbti typing for @bumblingbush
Tumblr media
enneagram: 5w4 so/sp OR 7w8
imo you actually have a pretty strong case for being a 7 (although I can't type you as a 7 and a 5 simultaneously - even in the same tritype). I know that you yourself relate or type a lot more often as a 5 - so if anything you should trust yourself more than this typing. I just hope this gives some input rather than confusion.
consider if you actually relate to any enneagram 5 trait structures. I'll link one here if you want to check it out. many entp's or intp's will see themselves as being an enneagram 5, since it's associated with logic or ration, when being an enneagram 7 is still in the head tritype. (figuring out mistypes is in the name 😎)
for one, you often repeat that your desire is to live a life of happiness. you fear not having a fulfilling life, and ending up on the deathbed regretting what you had done. while you do express some 5 traits (wanting to be seen as capable, processing emotions alone), your 7 traits stand out much more.
even outside of the 7 archetype of wanting a fun life, you describe rationalizing your emotions, which is essentially the way a 7 deals with their internal process. when it comes to anger, you "question things more" and "try to come to a sort of conclusion." when you don't, it makes you further frustrated (7 working with 8). the 8 wing is even more present, with the questions about dealing with anger pretty outwardly and quickly.
honestly, I think this quote from yourself describes it pretty well
"I make sense of emotions when alone (why I feel this way, when did I start feeling this way, and that’s how I get to the root of them)"
alternatively, I can see where you might be a 5. however, if you are, then you must be a social 5, which could explain some of the mixed traits you have in your questionnaire (and some of your 7 traits).
I ended up settling on the social 5 subtype, as they somewhat also tend to rationalize emotions. the only real difference I see between a social 5 and yourself is that you don't seem to distance yourself as much from others. in the trait structure of social 5's, they have a sense of "restrained greed."
here's a description by beatrice chestnut I thought you should look at if you wanted to figure out a social 5 within yourself:
"If this is your subtype, you always try to be and look smart and knowledgeable, but that doesn’t bring you true wisdom or joy. Nor is it a humble way of life. You may treat some people differently from others, according to whether or not you view them as members of your “special group.” Notice if you tend to be warmer and more available to people who have the same level of interest and expertise in your preferred subject or cause—and colder and less attentive to people who don’t. You may prioritize causes and the search for knowledge and meaning above individuals out of an unconscious fear of meaninglessness, but this keeps you disconnected from people and unable to truly care about them. Your tendency to bypass emotional development in favor of purely intellectual engagement may mean you think you are more conscious than you actually are."
mbti: entp
finding yourself stuck in decision or analysis paralysis often is likely some extroverted function in your stack that you are avoiding, or not developing as much as your other functions. while many intp's experience analysis paralysis, what made me type you as an entp over an intp was mostly your intentions.
to me, this not as much "analysis paralysis" as it is considering all the outcomes. I think you also said it somewhere yourself in your post that you often find it hard to make decisions, as there are "many options to consider."
the idea that ne doms are crazy over change and are completely open to it is just another stereotype. you pretty much seem to have a healthy relationship with it. maybe you aren't as "impulsive" as many entp's would be, but you use your ne to a reasonable extent - which is really just your ti doing it's auxiliary job.
also, you are pretty open to changing your mind (again, to reasonable extent). it's both an intp and entp trait due to their ti, but from what you explain, it seems that you take information in before you let it affect your framework of thought.
you don't seem to approach situations directly with this framework (ti). instead, it seems that you are intially receptive (extroverted function), and then that filters into your structure of thought (introverted function) - rather than the other way around.

mbti/enneagram typing for @ten-of-imps
isfp 6w7
Tumblr media
enneagram: 6w7
your tritype definitely contains 6w7. straight off the bat, the first answer you provide tells me a lot about your relationships with others. you value having a sense of security, and especially don't like being abandoned by others.
on a lesser related note, it seems very reminiscent of an enneagram 9 or 3 (which i'm not entirely surprised about, as 3-6-9 is a common triad + integration/disintegration path). the idea of abandonment combined with an attachment to "liking" or "humoring" those around you scream of enneagram 3 and 9, either in your triad or simply further supporting your 6 core.
you then go onto talk about desiring "more" in life, and having "nicer" experiences, which is why i gave you a 7 wing over 5.
the next answer you provide has a more positive outlook on the world, meaning there is a part of your tritype that relies in the harmonic triad (2-7-9).
imo this sense of optimism is still a 6w7. you explain that change is good, but uncertainty is not, which suggests that there is still an aspect where you struggle with the future. after all, the Duran/Catalan fixation for enneagram 6 is "certainty." it's also a common misconception that 6's are entirely scaredy cats, but more often than not when they take action "they can seem quite confident."
At the same time, 7's prefer "actively avoiding negativity," and 6's are still prone to denying fear. As Naranjo puts it in Character and Neurosis, "The counter-phobic denial of fear is no different in essence from the covering up of anger through excessive gentleness and control, the covering up of selfishness through excessive yielding, and other forms of compensation manifested throughout the range of characters, particularly in some of the sub-ennea-types."
this optimism/comfort may even suggest integration into enneagram 9 (again, part of the harmonic triad).
another minor reason why your wing was 7 instead of 5 is how you rationalized your emotions, particularly within the last answer. your descriptions of shame being something "we learn to feel" and relating it back to the world seem very true to the way an enneagram 7 would try to reason the emotion.
you like "researching things that sounds off or brings me fear."🧍need i say more?
MBTI: ISFP
you explain that your life is "deeply and depressingly based in sensory culture" and dreams are often unattainable in society. however, it seems like you are more disappointed in the value/impact it holds rather than sensory culture itself.
when people see objects, you want them to see meaning behind them. in this case, it's not necessarily ne/ni, as you USE these sensory experiences (se) to express your own meaning (fi).
for example, your last answer on experiencing emotions rang loud of fi-se, with the almost "poetic" descriptions. connecting these real world experiences to your own emotions seems very, very much isfp (fi-se).
Minor Details/Speculation
the tone of your answers lean both melancholic and sanguine
slight enneagram 3 in tritype: "Get to be someone I adore. Be someone who is adored."
4 wing for enneagram 3 fix (authenticity): "I ope to be seen as a person, without prejudices, without any roles I have to take up, to act as."

mbti/enneagram typing for 🎀 anon
Tumblr media
enneagram - 127 1w9 2w3 7w6
let's start with your first question: your biggest fear. the part about not wanting to be isolated or abandoned definitely gives e9. you also describe how you don't feel that you are very driven, but you also oftentimes feel "empty," which is usually how e9's feel about themselves and their emotions. enneagram 9 is pretty notorious for feeling that they are detached from themselves. however, i don't think this is the core of your type (more of a wing to your 1), since it's not really that basis of your answers.
now, onto your core type. at worst, you find yourself lonely, fragile and intense - all of which are emblematic of an e1 disintegrating into an e4. even the part about being "kind of a bad person" shows how your e1 shines even when you display unhealthy e4 traits. something that really solidified your e1 for me was how you said that even when you feel angry, there's a part of you that thinks you don't really deserve to - which is very much how an e1 might find themselves internalizing their anger. from what you describe, anger isn't something outward to you. it's not that you struggle with expressing it (as a 9 would), but more that you feel it internally but choose not to express it. if you do, you might feel shame or even regret afterwards, which could be a way an e1 internalizes this emotion.
onto the head triad - you seem to want to be satisfied with yourself and life, something you value to an extent. this def indicates to me that on top of being a 1w9, you have a 7 fix. not as strong - but present enough to explain why you aren't fully focused on security or gaining resources.
then, "to love and be loved strongly," definitely screams e2. even how you say that you hate having the "bad" side of you shown to others is likely why you have a 3w2 to in your tritype. some of your answers about your relationships to other and your emotions can be attributed to this type, which is why i placed it higher than e7.
mbti ?? (isfp, isfj, infp - possibilities)
since it was a short questionnaire, it was hard for me to infer things about your mbti, but i tried my best to narrow them down. from your adjectives (humanitarian ideas, philosophical things, brainstorming, making up things), you are mostly likely high in intuitive and feeling functions.
through solving problems you say you like to "talk it out" through "metaphors, similes" and etc etc. this is definitely indicative of a higher intuition, most likely ni-se. imo metaphors are more of ne-si and similes are ni-se. what solidified ni>ne for me was how you describe that uncertainly unsettles you, which is often uncharacteristic of an entp or enfp.
the part about preferring when your memories get richer and experiencing nostalgia don't necessarily conflict with having ni. in fact, they probably are more connected to your feeling function, which might be the true motivation of these feelings. from how i interpret this, you like the feeling of nostalgia, and how it adds meaning, which is more a combination intuition and feeling (and maybe enneagram) rather than full on si.
finally, onto your feeling function, the part about feeling as if you have no moral compass but still disliking when your ideas are questioned seem to be fi. it's hard to find where exactly it would be placed, but it's up there on your stack. imo, your fi>ni, which is why if i were to type you, it would be either an isfp. if my analysis on your sensing or intuition functions was pretty limited, then i would say it could alternatively be an isfj or even infp.

mbti/enneagram typing for @typerfixation
isfp, 8w9 so/sp, 4w3, 6w5
Tumblr media
isfp 8w9 so/sp (if i could do sp/sp i would :p), 4w3 (alternatively 3w4), 6w5
your first answer directly shows a lot of e9. lacking a sense of direction, and particularly having "passion" (with strong quotations) is very close to what may drive an enneagram 9. the cycle of feeling as if you have a 'mundane' life shows that like the e9 fix you have, you are also high in sensory functions (as both tend to go hand in hand).
you haven't given a reason necessarily why you do this, but if i were to infer, it aligns with the enneagram 9 passion of sloth. you use words like "willpower," which also go with the enneagram 9's cycles of motivation. later, you state that comfort is super important to you- which again, aligns with how 9's desire a sense of internal and external peace. this also suggests that you lean towards sp9 as your subtype, which prefers having comfort in their environment, as well as many of the activities/habits that you explained you like doing.
as duran and catalan puts it:
“distraction” is the tool that allows them to escape from the commitment of complying with their true needs and becomes the need itself that motivates action.
now onto your core, i see 8>1. your enneagram 8, in combination with your 4w3/3w4 (which i'll expand on later), explain why you find yourself being self conscious. particularly, you mention how you don't want others to judge you for fearing death, and you hate appearing as if you're weak, stupid, cringe, or ugly (all things 8's hate being perceived as).
throughout your questionnaire, the reoccurring theme of not wanting to appear or be "weak" often comes up, which is very much an enneagram 8 trait. it also explains why in your answers about anger and frustration, you find yourself experiencing it very intensely. it's also the reason you hate being controlled or told what to do.
as for your subtype, your 8 was a blend of all of them. reading through your questionnaire, it was hard for me to pinpoint what subtype you were exactly. your 8 seemed to manifest in all the general traits that are associated with 8's, but didn't really fit into the specific crevices of each subtype.
considering how you mention that you are health anxious, maybe even "hypochondriac" (if that's the right word), your first subtype our of your entire tritype is likely sp. since your sp9 already takes up that spot, your 8 can't be sp.
if i had to pick, i'd go with either so or sx, leaning towards so. going by the naranjo description, these 8's have a tendency to be "cynical" and attempt to "portray themselves as supposedly powerful," which may be somewhat similar to what you describe. if i were to follow other descriptions, i might even put it as sp 8, which may follow along with the socially detached descriptions you provide.
the reason i put your 8w9 so/sx over your other fixes is that the 8 core strikes me as the most explanatory of your other traits (as enneagram tends to overlap). ideas of self image, infantilization, slight nihilism, and emotions can be explained by having an 8 higher up in the tritype.
moving onto your second answer, seeking security goes with enneagram 6. being incredibly aware of anything that may cause harm or death around you (especially death) can be seen as a manifestation of 6. later your answers on nihilism can also be attributed to having a 5 wing on this 6 fix.
then, you mention that you don't want, but wan't the right to express your self in every way possible, which gives me the impression that you have a lot of fi/e4, with a tertiary se to express your fi motivations. this explained your isfp mbti most. your descriptions of wanting to achieve things you feel you can't seem a lot like sx 4, who's often characterized as wanting what they don't have.
on the same track, you say that you're skeptical of being a fi dom because you're not "artistic," but i don't think that being a fi user necessarily means that's the case. those who are fi-se will find ways to express themselves externally, which is exactly how you explained it- through your appearance. later you say that you value aesthetics, which particularly matches an isfp.
you're also dependent on others opinions of yourself and find a sense of emotional support from it. while this may stem from your 4w3 fix (which is pretty image conscious), it may also go in hand with your 9 fix. 9's that integrate into 3's often experience this, which explains why you may act like a sx 3 even when you aren't strong in that regard. i also suggest that you take a look at this haiki description of an enneagram 3's past/background, which seemed a little bit like what you described of your own (though I might be wrong).

i don’t know if i’m an intj or intp for sure (leaning towards intj) enneagram 5w4
hi! is there anything specific that made it hard to differentiate between being an intj or intp?
i was thinking of making a post to help people tell the difference between an intj and intp, and i was wondering if there was anything you noticed in yourself that made it conflicting? (since you conveniently messaged my inbox!!)
maybe things like your experiences, thought process, traits from each type??
