what comes after #GenZ? #GenAlpha! the eldest of this tablet toting generation are starting their teenage years and we're officially becoming fossils 😩😖. in order to help them, we gotta know more about them. i found this article interesting and i wonder how #mixedkids that are Gen-Alpha will be like? my niece, Kourtney, just turned 9 and according to #Google she's a tween! we won't start that til next year thank you. she was raised on #BabyEinstein and it shows! Baby Einstein really helped shape her mentally enabling her to skip the first level of preschool sooner than her peers. flash forward to now, she has her own bracelet business (made of rubber bands in any color), she's addicted to #Youtube especially cat videos, slime videos, legos, diy cakes and domino videos and #DisneyPlus. thankfully she actually likes to play outside and run around but we do wonder how what she's ingesting now during this screen age will impact her later. her younger sister, Anaya, is 4 and is @virgoaf_! she was raised on #netflix and #cocomelon and is finally approaching her final year in daycare! can we talk about how expensive it is now???? she unfortunately has a short temper and can pack a punch 🤜🏼 and we're working on that lol. them 2nd borns amirite? she's slow to warm up to you and does everything her older sister does. we haven't had the mixed talk yet but i have gifted them mixed kid books and thankfully we have more shows about kids of color they can learn from. what are your lil gen alpha's like? comment below or tag me in any posts of them and ill share to my story today! 👧🏻 🧒 👶🏿👦🏾👧🏽 #mixedbabies #generationalpha #generations #millenials #kids #momsofmixedkids https://www.instagram.com/p/CqYmjP9uSE6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

On this day 10 years ago, I became a mom! I never thought I’d be a mom, let alone a mom at 22 years old. After being in labor for 2 days, my Little Tre was born 5 weeks early at 5 lbs 15 oz and 19.5 in. long. Everything could have gone terribly wrong especially since he arrived earlier than expected, but we made it! Tre has grown so fast, and I scroll through old pictures and it’s a whirlwind of emotions because I can’t believe how fast this time has gone. He has been my biggest motivation to keep pushing in this life. I have done my best to give him everything I had and more. He’s taken more trips and seen more cool things than I did at his age. I’d be fooling y’all if you thought I did all this alone. With the help of my parents, Tre’s dad, and Tre’s dad’s family, we’ve raised a well-rounded, smart, loving, funny young man. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and it truly truly does. Tre’s spirit is so high that I wish I had the attitude he has. He’s always making jokes, playing basketball in the house, reading, playing with Legos, drawing, coloring, and of course, playing with his Pokemon cards all the time lol. He’s so creative and witty. Not a day goes by where I don’t laugh because of the smile Little Tre puts on my face. He’s not afraid to be silly, and he will dance wherever he’s at if he hears a song he likes. He does not care who’s watching 🤣 I’ve considered him an ambivert, but as of lately, I can see more of his personality coming out in public, so I’d say he’s almost an extrovert lol. I’m so blessed and grateful to have been given the chance to birth this child and have someone who I will always share unconditional love with.
