Controversial opinion but...

I think the reason I get turned off from most svtfoe fix-it fics/aus is the same problem I have with most ML fix-it fics/aus.

It just reeks of mostly taking potshots at canon and egotism in the author's side that it just hard get into most of them without being annoyed at the self-entitlement.

That doesn't mean I suddenly think svtfoe is perfect or whatnot, I still find it heavily flawed. But I just wish most of the fix-it fics/aus weren't didn't have this smug entitlement of potshoting canon and "I can do better" attitude.

AU where Marinette was one of the Diaz's Foreign Exchange students 5-6 years ago (5 at Origins, so she can be in Chloé's class "the last 4 years") and they stayed in touch until 2014 (approximately both Origins and Star Comes to Earth). They meet again when she arrives at a large akuma/he goes with Tom's Mom to stop the supervillains that kidnap, enslave, and "purify" akuma demons.

That sounds like a really cool cross over idea

The day Star destroys the magic Marinette wakes up with barely visible, pink, ladybug shaped cheekmarks on her face.

Turns out remains of magic merdged with the Miraculouses (which weren't influenced by the whispering spell) and caused cheekmarks to appear on their holders' faces.

Ladybug shape came from being Ladybug, pink colour from Multimouse.

Adrien has emerald green (Chat Noir) spirals (Aspik)

Nathalie has dark blue tear drops

Gabriel has purple butterflies

Chloe has golden crowns

Luka has turqouise musical notes

Nino has dark green shields

Alya has orange fox tails (same shape as the fox miraculous)

The permament holders need to cover their cheekmarks with makeup, while the temporary ones have this problem only, when they're near other heroes or the Miraculouses.

They also learn they can make kind of spells now (Chat Noir offensive/destructing spells, Ladybug Creation/Healing spells, Hawk Moth can influence someone's mind even more, etc.)

Miraculous AU were somehow a Box of Truth from SVTFOE ends up in Madame Bustier's class. It REALLY doesn't like Lila for obvious reasons...

I’m going to assume this is for this ask game or just a general musing thing rather than a three sentence fic since it sounds like a larger story. (If you want a three sentence fic instead, just let me know.) 

Because, yes, a Box of Truth amongst the ML folks would be disastrous given the amount of secrets and lies that have been told. Like you say, Lila’s obvious. And Marinette would no doubt take a lot of glee from the fact that everyone else is finally seeing Lila for the liar she is.

But if they’re trapped together, Marinette and Adrien can’t get away to transform.

They can’t pretend that they believe Ladybug and Chat Noir are coming (because everyone’s going to assume this is another akuma thing) when they know they’ll have to fight as themselves because there is no place to go and transform in secret.

One of them might get out of it with their secret intact--Marinette, maybe, if Adrien decides to try Cataclysm and it works--but I don’t think both would. Well, potentially both, if Plagg can just Cataclysm the thing himself and his magic is stronger than that of the Box, which it probably is given the things he’s apparently responsible for, but that’s only if he tries that before the conversation and questions get too revealing. I mean, give Alya an inch, and she’ll find a mile. Especially being Rena Rouge and knowing exactly how the Miraculous works. And especially if anyone besides Adrien or Tikki sees Plagg. (Even if it’s not Alya, if it’s someone who’s used a Miraculous by that point in time, they could probably recognize a kwami. And--especially if the box is then destroyed--it wouldn’t be too hard to wonder if it’s the black cat kwami. Which would lead them to Chat Noir. And the conclusion that he’s one of them. Which, since Alya’s earlier proposal to Marinette about Adrien being Chat means the rest of the class has eyes, would lead them to Adrien. And Alya would jump on anyone acting differently around Adrien somehow/trying to be alone to question him/etc if she doesn’t come to the conclusion herself.)

If Plagg’s magic isn’t stronger than that of the Box, Adrien’s secret would be coming out anyway, given that everyone’s going to be screaming as their circumstances get drastically worse.

Wand Wars AU One Shot

Inspiration hit me like a truck when I saw @kyotemeru-arts Wand War AU, especially this piece so the following happened:

Maybe if she wouldn’t wear that crown every day.

Maybe if she wouldn’t insist to be called princess all the time.

Maybe if she wouldn’t have her eyes, her laugh, her spirit.

Maybe if their whole lives would have gone completely different.

Maybe then he wouldn’t feel this numb pain the emptiness she’d left caused him every single day.

Maybe then he wouldn’t be remembered how Star had been wrested from them every time he looked at their beloved daughter.

His light, his hope, his reason to life.

Marco Diaz had no words to describe his gratefulness for the blessing he’d received that was his sunshine Bella. How couldn’t his heart swell with joy every time he saw his little girl smile, not overflow with love when he heard the pure delight in her blithe laugh?

Yet he couldn’t get the grief to disappear, force it to leave him and Bella alone. Just like she’d done.

In his darkest times he’d tried to hate her. Hate her for not fighting back, for letting their daughter grow up without her mother. For leaving him behind on this miserable, lonely, cold planet.

But he could never hate her. Deep down in his heart he’d known that all along.

Some people never experience love in their entire life, he knew that. But he, he had been gifted with the best kind of love – true, wholehearted, lifelong love. That kind where your partner was not only your lover but also your best friend, your soulmate. Where implicit trust and lighthearted laughter accompanied you on every day you got to wake up and fall asleep next to each other.

Even if it felt like it hadn’t been enough he wanted to be thankful that he’d been found worthy of holding her heart and going this short passage of his path by her side.

Even if it felt like he got nothing out of these few years but misery and a broken heart sometimes, he knew that this were just the demons in his head trying to defeat him.

But no matter how deep his hurt was, no matter how much he missed Star’s presence with his entire being, he had never been alone. Thanks to her, he had a new princess by his side whose heart was his to keep safe, to love unconditionally.

Of course he would never feel the same without the love of his life touching his heart every day.

But now there was a different, maybe even stronger feeling, overflowing him when he saw the cheerful sparks in Bella’s eyes.

When he danced with her around the living room and she whirled around like a colorful tiny hurricane, looking more gracefully than any other person he knew.

When she nuzzled his strong, protective arm and told him that he was the best dad on earth with this lovely voice of hers.

In these moments he truly understood that his destiny was not to dearly love Star until death would separate them like he’d thought it was all this time but to protect Bella and keep her hopeful, enchanting light alive until his last breath.

He would always sacrifice his life for hers, treat his laughter for hers. He would do anything to prevent her from breaking over Star’s absence like he did over and over again, waking up and falling asleep without her warmth next to him.

And yet there was nothing he could do but desperately hope that his heart was enough to shelter her happiness.

lmaooo I was scanning my old files and found this lying around so might as well post it since I’m pretty busy working with other things recently.

@disney-n-stuff okay, I was rewatching season 1 when this came to my head. It started when I rewatched that one episode (I don’t remember which) where Jeremy was pissing the heck out of Marco so he started chasing him around the dojo. Watching it hella reminded me of episode one from miraculous ladybug when Marinette hadda chase Mano around her house cuz she’s temporarily babysitting her.

So consider this---Jeremy as puppeteer. It pretty suits him in so many ways lmao since 1.) He’s a really young kid 2.) He’s a spoil 3.) Has tendencies to puppet anyone by blinding them using the power of his family’s wealth and stuff

I dunno. Was in a Mystery Skulls mood (probably because of the new Hellbent teaser), and had a part of a Mind Link WIP to finish. Decided to just doodle it while listening to Ghost. Cos...you know...Toffee's a ghost in this AU. And stuff.

in which Adrien Moth is sent to earth to learn magic in peace after his mothers sudden death and so his father can focus on running the kingdom of their home dimension. He lives with Marinette and her parents at the bakery, where he quickly befriends the other teen and practices his magic with the help of his friend, his wand, and of course, the keeper of his family spell book, Plagg.

Starco week Day3

This is a cross over of Miraculous ladybug and svtfoe

It was the tenth month after Star had came to earth , the Diaz family decided to go on a family trip, but who knew they would go to France while Ludo’s family is on a family trip too. Of course Ludo wouldn’t give up quality family time for a wand, would he?

“I am soooo excited “ Star said , bouncing up and down on her seat , it was her first time in an air plane, or going somewhere out of the U.S. , she was fascinated by everything, it was quite a surprise the air port wasn’t suspiciously of the amount of stuff she’s bring with her, nothing ! She put everything in her storage in her wand . On the opposite , Marco brought 2 heavy suitcases of red hoodies and what he calls his “other manly supplies “ .

Once they had arrived in France , they immediately recognized the famous two protectors of France’s merch , Ladybug and Cat Noir. Star had planned to contact them to help her protect her wand, just because she’s not in Echo Creek, doesn’t mean the wand is in any less danger, after she made the phone call. Mr. And Mrs.Diaz found a hotel next to the air port and let Marco and Star explore the city.

“Ladybug should be meeting here with us in ...... about a minute “ Star was soon interrupted by a swoosh sound of the two famous heroes moving throughout the city.

“ my lady, I thought we were protect a princess and her boyfriend.” Cat Noir said confused

“Princesss Star, please don’t mind his manners, this is Cat Noir and I am Ladybug , I believe this is the boy you talked about over phone, Marco?” Ladybug said apologetically

“ PRINCESS Star?!” Cat Noir said

“ yes Kitty, now mind your manners, Cat, this is Princess Star and her squire Marco.” Ladybug said

“ I like your taste Marco “ Cat Nori winked as he told Marco

“ oh shush kitty , Star, you said this guy was named Ludo , right ? So if he’s anything like u said he should be about the height of a 4 years old, green looking with a skull hat?!” Ladybug said

“ Yep, while you guys help me with that, Marco and I will help you guys with the Butterfly person.” Star said

“Akumatized victim “ Cat Noir corrected

Then out of the blue , a shriek came from somewhere behind them.

“No Jenny !!!!” Someone yelled in horror

I’m done! After two and a half days of working on this! And while inking and coloring it was really time consuming, the sketches were so much fun to make! 

I actually wanted to draw something for @disney-n-stuff‘s miraculous ladybug au a long time ago but never really did it... Thanks to this request I at least tried it out and it was... an experience... a good one

If Miraculous took place in the same universe as svtfoe

I think that kwamis wouldn't be badly affected with the fact that magic is gone. They're just too... Independent for that. I mean, Tikki appeared when the world was created, so she existed even before the realm of magic did, right?

So, after connecting the Earth with Mewni, things near their border... Aren't going pretty well. Sure, the people of Echo Creek were already aware of Monsters thanks to Star, but everyone is just scared and shocked after what happend... Mewnians are still not used to monsters too. People from both words have totally different mentalities too, which leads to the lot of trouble... Not even mentioning all the law problems connected with Humans, Monsters and Mewnians living and mixing together, or a giant piece of land just appearing out of nowhere.

Anyway, the situation is pretty bad, with all the fights and conflicts between the "races". Star and Marco, as those, who made the two worlds connect, feel like they're obligated to do something, but they simply don't have the power to do that.

And then one, or both of them gets a Miraculous.

Star is... Conflicted. She's happy that she's not powerless anymore, but the part of her is still sick of all the responsibilities she had to deal with not so long time ago. She also still kinda hates magic. But as she gets used to her new powers and bonds with her kwami, she actually starts enjoying her new "job". She is bad at keeping her identity secret overall, but she can make crazy excuses and none will even question them, because well, It's still Star.

Marco is the one to actually keep the secrets, making sure none sees the kwamis, or that the area is safe enough to transform. He's exthatic to be a hero at first, but I feel like he'd be in Ladybug's kind of situation, so he might be really stressed out sometimes.

They were supposed to keep their identities hidden from each other, but seeing the bond between the duo and knowing what they've already been through together, the kwamis decide to let them know who's behind the mask pretty quickly.

BUT give me some love confusion first!

Also, give me Star meeting Marinette and figuring out her identity almost immediately, shocking the ravenette with her boldness and total lack of fear or confusion.
