hiiii flurryheart au story idea ive had for a Long time where she feels kinda trapped in the crystal kingdom bc of silghtly overprotective parents and being royalty from birth n all so she decides to run away, just for a little bit smile, she'll get to ponyville, reunite with pound and pumpkin cake, shenanigans ensue lol

Honestly really sad we never got to see anything with an older Flurry (assuming she's not in G5 in any way, I haven't really been keeping up with it ^^') Like, what does she do? She'd probably protect the Crystal Heart, but who is she as a person? Her talents? Would she have love-based magic like her mum?? I'm sad we may never know,,

She’s known by the ponies of equestria only in legend

Which goes as follows

there was once a thriving empire in the north filled with happy and prosperous Ponies ruled by a princess and her daughter it’s said they had much magic their coats shined with it all thanks to the cyrstal heart. However one day the crystal heart disappeared. Along with the princess. panicked the daughter searched for a way to save the kingdom, it is said she tore out her own heart and used it in place of the crystal heart to protect the kingdom. She became cruel and callous eventually the ponies threw her out of the kingdom.

It’s said she now wanders the artic her magic slowly running out as she hunts for the souls of lost ponies to stay alive hoping one day to return to the empire for revenge.

i still hold on so tight to the idea of opaline being flurry heart. like not canonically obviously but just that its what i think shouldve happened

i mean shes even the crystal empire princess. and the villain name is opaline. idk i could further explain my thoughts but i still wish its what wouldve happened. it wouldve been so interesting and wouldve been a very different (said positively) way to connect the two generations

not to mention, flurry heart is... barely a character. everything we know about her just boils down to 'shes the baby princess daughter of cadence and shining armor, shes an alicorn, shes a handfull because shes an alicorn baby' and thats it lol like even the only canonical(?) version of her thats older is from that one mobile game and its only her appearance as far as i can tell. she was only made to sell toys and you can tell.

MY POINT IS is that shes a blank slate and theres so much potential there and the idea of her somehow ending up as opaline is so fascinating. cause my idea is that it would be like a luna-nightmare moon situation yknow?

opaline was wasted potential anyway, and so was flurry heart. man i need to flesh this out tbh ajfhshd

it’s been a while, so i would like to let all of my new followers know that i make cozyheart stuff with the understanding that cozy spends like a decade turned to stone, and is roughly the same age as flurry.

Im oddly jealous of modern MLP fans. Not gen 5 fans specifically but modern MLP fans who are able to watch Season 5 and onwards and enjoy the series. My nostalgia for the classic MLP fandom and the Seasons before then just refuse to let me get invested T~T

So um all the mlp infected au have been everywhere lately and they inspired me to make my own :D

I’m calling this au My Little Beast and this is the beast virus. The beast virus is an alien virus that came down to Earth inside a space rock. Daring Do went to check it out and was bitten by a worm-like creature that was residing inside the rock. The worm creature promptly died and Daring Do was made into patient zero.

The virus spreads solely through the saliva of infected and, mysteriously, it ONLY infects ponies. The infection, after getting bitten, is a harsh and sudden transformation into a beast form that will vary depending on what species of pony the infected is. Infected acquire a ravenous appetite for meat and will kill anything that moves.

Infected ponies can no longer use their magic after being infected, hence the missing cutie marks (infected pegasi wings are big enough to fly without magic). Even though uninfected ponies can still use their magic after the outbreak, magic of any kind does not directly work on the infected. So survivors cannot use magic spells to fight infected.

I mentioned previously that the infection only infects ponies. This means animals, dragons, and any other non-pony creatures are practically immune if they are ever bitten. However, they are still at risk of getting mauled and eaten by infected ponies. Stabber venom will take effect on non-pony creatures.

You’re probably wondering why none of the infected forms I’ve drawn so far is wearing their typical clothing or accessories. Well, simple answer is they tear it off during transformation. Infected ponies hate the feeling of anything clinging on their bodies due to the rapid and drastic transformations occurring to their bodies.

I know Cadence typically gets infected in these infection aus, but I needed an alicorn sacrifice for the ref sheet (and Twilight is the one making these infected guides hint hint)😔

Shining Armor and Flurryheart do manage to escape infected Cadence but that’s a story for another post ;)

They absolutely hate fire! So long as it is not magical fire as anything magical in origin has no effect on infected ponies. If a survivor is looking for an easy distraction to get away from infected, it can be done two ways: always have a torch on hand or throw already dead corpses at infected. The infected ‘s blood thirst will have distracted by any kind of dead body, including the bodies of dead infected.
