Did you ever finish Revolutionary Girl Utena? I wanna her your thoughts about it!

I recently did a rewatch with a lesbian BFF (her first time). I wish I could send pictures because I have an extremely hilarious set of selfies I took during the finale of her screaming her head off while I smile and flash a peace sign. That's gay + lesbian solidarity.

I really love it. Didn't really get it the first run-through, got it the second time (watching feels like playing a rogue-like in a way). I don't have much new to say that other sapphic writers haven't already talked about. It's at once a really dense piece of media that demands your attention and analysis and a really dumb anime that Ikuhara saw in a dream. The movie is absolutely gorgeous. SPOILERS: When Utena asks to see something eternal and Dios shows her Anthy. When Utena remembers she became a prince not to embody Dios but to save Anthy. When Utena opens the door and truly sees Anthy for the first time and utters through tears, "At least, we meet..." When we finally see that Anthy and Utena were secretly holding hands in the photo. Absolutely wrecks me every time.

Funnily enough, I have an unfinished Juri illustration collecting dust. I should finish that soon.

Got possessed again

Some of them are mixed of two types of ponies. Earth pony hooves are larger, fluffier, and more strongly colored magic hooves etc

Shadow has umbrum inspirations

Green: Full pegasus- full flight power, speed, and ability to create gusts, can walk on clouds, weighs less, fly at high speeds through storms, able to handle high altitudes and pressure changes

Red: Half unicorn, half earth- able to do basic spells (light spell etc), requires rods for high power spells, additional earth pony strength can lift 2x his weight

Blue: Full Earth- full earth pony strength and resistance to injury+ toxic plants, more resistant to the cold and harsh conditions, can lift up to 5x his weight

Vio: Full Unicorn, able to raise a crystal shield as a adrenaline induced reaction, still struggles with controlling his magic (or doing basic spells/levitation) until he meets shadow.

Shadow: Appears to be half Pegasus, half earth (Like Link was)- can shape shift and float even without flight, able to manipulate the darkness, clone himself, become intangible, and travel through the darkness.

Some traditional doodles I decided to do on my homework. ( #8 is super hard to see I know, but I’ll do them digitally too, and then it’ll be easier to see. It got smudged severely in-between my notebooks )

ALSO Meet Kai ( She’s the falcon who would be in the MHA au ) and my Pokémon sword and shield trainer. I wanted to make a MHA animal Au, because I’ve seen some really cute sketches going around and they make me happy to draw. They wouldn’t be the “hybrids” or whatever, but just ACTUAL animals. I think it’s cute I dunno lol.

CHAEYA MLP AU 1/?

When the cavalry captain becomes the cavalry lol. In this AU they get silly pony names Kaeya is Frosty Flurries and Childe is Riptide. Random Trivia under the cut. ……If you saw me upload this earlier no you didn’t.

1. Tartaglia is part changeling due to his use of his delusion/foul legacy. The more he uses them the more warped his body becomes.

2. Frosty Flurries was originally named Abyssal Frost but he changed it.

3. Snezhnaya is called Snezneigh-ya (get it. haha.)

4. Riptide tells Teucer the swords in his cutie mark are just toy replicas.

My Little... Pirates? ((Aka I succumb to making a One Piece MLP AU)) ( part 1 // part 2 )

It always starts as a style experiment or practice drawing something new of some sort but tbh there is a darkness within me that is steadily brewing anyways HEY Y'ALL WANT. HEADCANONS? (this took me weeks to finally finish and post)

Introducing the pirate captain Monkey Do, first mate Zephyr Roar , and the fighting-cook Blackhoof Sanji (aka Devil Dancer) Coming up with names is Hard. Let's talk about these fools a little bit, with lots of headcanon to spare. Monkey Do ( aka Monkey D. Luffy) is our earth pony protagonist, and is largely unchanged. His cutiemark is a top down view of his iconic straw hat (or... is it? Some might say it looks a bit like a sun...) and his special talent is leadership. Earthponies are known for many things, and Luffy encompasses those qualities wholly-- he's loyal and strong, and has an endless appetite. an appettite that still contains a frankly concerning amount of meat. This little pony is not a harbivore. Zephyr Roar (aka Roronoa Zoro, or just 'Zoro' as Monkey Do calls him) is a pegasus who's special talent is the self invented three-sword-style. Yes he holds the other two with his wings. No he does not fly. Zoro's a real special guy like that. He largerly perfers to face his enemies on the ground, turning that pegasi speed into pure power. He's mean, he's green, and he thinks dust baths constitute as real bathing. Blackhoof, aka Devil Dancer (Sanji) is a unicorn who's special talent is cooking. His magic gives him a serious wallop in battle, and the old fashioned metal shoes let his superheated kicks pack even more of a punch. His natural magic is fire, and his time on Momoiro helped him learn real levitation, two traits that are just as powerful in the kitchen as they are on the battlefield. For all the stereotypes about unicorns that he breaks, Dancer enforces just as many-- he's prissy, wears fancy clothes, and he even shaves the fluffy fetlocks on his front legs to avoid contaimination while cooking. He's also got a taste for sweet things-- if the lollipop stick in his mouth was any indication. (if he still sounds like the godawful 4kids dub is for you to decide)

That's all I've got to say about these guys for now, and I hope you enjoy--I watched mlp as a kid and now that it's making it's resurgence I feel like I have a weird amount of thoughts about it. sometimes i think about mlp merlin au

i think merlin would be a unicorn, as strong as starswirl the bearded, but obviously merlin is stronger, because he is the embodiment of magic. all his life merlin used magic in his home village and everyone was quite okay with it, but suddenly he is sent to camelot, where magic is forbidden! there all unicorns have their horns cut off at birth or they themselves renounce magic, everyone is under total control.

merlin has to pretend that his horn doesn't work and that he is actually "too stupid and country to do magic"

merlin covers up his cutie mark, because it depicts one side of a coin and a magic splash, instead he draws a mop.

arthur's cutie mark is a sword, a crown and also one side of a coin, he never wondered what it means, thinking that it is a talent for ruling and chivalry. Arthur has no wings or horns.

He meets Merlin and they quickly become close friends.

One day, they went hunting, but because of Merlin, they accidentally fell into the water and the paint from Merlin's cutie mark washed off and the real mark was visible. Arthur was very surprised by this, not only did he hide his mark, but his mark was also very similar to his.

Arthur: Merlin... why do you have the same coin as me? We'll talk about you hiding your mark later, it's not against the law, but still...

Merlin says a little nervously: ...because we're two sides of the same coin?

Arthur: Are you saying that we're soul mates and have the same destiny for both of us?

Merlin: Wow, you got it quickly, I think so

Arthur: Now everything's clear.I agree to be your destiny.

Merlin, smiling broadly: And I agree to be yours

the basic rundown is that saras save data corrupts and major events in danceverse history either get swapped or dont happen at all, leading to her friends roles getting swapped. to get everything back to normal, sara has to show them who they used to be (kinda like that one mlp episode) jack and wander swap roles, brezziana and mihaly swap roles, and the traveler and night swan swap roles besides night swan and the traveler, the personalities generally stay the same. its pretty much just the roles

It's time... PONEY Time.... Anyway i'm making a DR/MLP au! I love both concepts and I think they'd go well together- have ideas for a story, but right now i'm brainstorming designs! I wanted them to have elements I liked from both g4 and 95, like the colored wings and fretlocks on the hoovsies…... Here's Hard Luck (Nagito) and Sunflowers/Midnight Sun (Hajime/Izuru!)

Hard Luck is a lanky and sickly pegasus who's unfortunate special talent is a double edged sword, making him morose and pessimistic, but he's come to the school of friendship to hopefully remedy that ! Sunflowers has an interesting struggle- he has no idea what his talent is supposed to be, despite having a cutie mark. He hopes that he can learn a thing or two in ponyville, but fate has other plans for him....

(thiscatdraws' mlp au and mine might have similar designs due to creative overlap in the past, but our works are separate. Please respect that!)

WORDGIRL AU HCS:

The Coach

REAL NAME: Coach's real name is "Parto Satria Ardiansyah". He can also be referred by Satria and Ardi but only with family or close friends since he doesn't want his identity to be reveal for obvious reasons. his deadname is "Aisyah Hendra Fatamah", he sometimes let people in his family to call him "Hendra" or "Fatmah", he doesn't mind only with family.

PERSONALITY: Coach's personality is mix of canon, rarity from mlp, georgette from oliver and company, and jessica rabbit.

FAMILY: Coach have a great relationship with his family. his dad, mom, grandparents, loves him dearly. coach can be a little salty with his brothers The Masked Meat Marauder, Police Commisiner Watson, but they love eachother.

MARRIAGE: When coach married his first husband "Nick Michols" at the age of 22 things change, he is struggling for Nick's Expectations. Nick is a emotionally abusive husband who always have ways to bring coach down, but when coach give birth to his first daughter it's like his problems went away. he loves his daughter dearly and would do anything to protect her even from his husband. Nick wanted a son so he's pretty much a deadbeat father and a neglectful one also, that leads to their divorce. but eventually coach found Hal Hardbargain and Masked Bagger/Bill then married them immediately as coach have his second child which is a boy.

AGE: Coach's age ranged from the og which is 38 and the au is taken after 4 years so hed be 42 now.

VILLAIN SCHOOL: Coach is the Leader/Princibal of the villain school. Coach is strict, manipulative and honest to his students, no akwardness or slipping off his words. He's very secretive of his own intentions and background, his student doesn't mess with him but often see him as a father figure. Coach also saw his students as his own children but often shake that thought. The student catch most attached to is invisibill because they and coach grew up together, the same as whammer but coach was his babysitter. when it comes to ms question it's very complicated, coach is guilty for failing her but also glad to have her gone because she have a grudge against him.

OTHERS: coach, seymour, reason,and scoops grew up in the same city which is jakarta. they are good friends even would hang out in granny mays house.

Coach and tobey is like a uncle an nephew since coach is friends with claire, same goes to becky, she may see him as a threat but also as an uncle figure since coach is very close friends with sally.

Coach and glenda are close, but he would find her strange to say the least.but theyre very good friends.

Coach have a grudge against his ex nick, which is understandable but nick is already regret his action and often appearing sheepish towards coach.

Coach and leslie are very close friends, they like to gossip and other girly stuff.

FASHION SENSE: Coach has love for fashion. always wearing his earrings, rings and whistle. he loves handbags that are specifically from the COACH brand. he wear many feminine outfit and does his make up very often. also loves expensive colonge.

STATUS: Coach isn't kicked out of his house. he does have an apartment but that is just for his villain school, he still have his own house where he lives with hal, bill, his kids and also two cats. coach isn't that broke since he has mr big as a friend, bill as a grocery store manager and hal as mechanic. Coach definitely ask for money to them many time.

ABILITY: Eventho coach is small, he have the strength of a full grown tall man. he exercise daily, going to the gym with the boys and take martial art class. he can defend himself pretty good, you would not wanna mess with him. he can also dodge things easily and use swords or katanas very well. hes pretty much powerful in this AU.

that's pretty much it, ill add stuff if there's more i can come up with.
