i keep going to make posts about which duos I like to see in s5 and I'm like "oh I'd love to see more Will and Lucas but also Will and Dustin and Max too-" and then I realise that Will has basically been absent from scenes with his bestfriends (bar mike but we know why) and/or when he is with his bestfriends they're off screen.

In s5, Mike has to be the first to confess to Will for a Byler endgame, because there is no way Will would tell Mike about his feelings, especially if there’s just been a Mileven breakup or Will could in any way feel like he’s taking advantage of the situation. If s4 is anything to go by, Will wants both Mike and El to be happy, and if he even had the slightest hint that his confessing his feelings might in any way hurt either of them, he wouldn’t say anything.

If Will were to confess, he would have to have very solid evidence that neither Mike nor El would be negatively affected by it, because that boy is an absolute angel and would never hurt either of them.

Let's all be concerned about Will and Mike in season 5 :)

When the Cali gang are returning to Hawkins in S4, there is a voiceover happening from a TV broadcast as the group drive through and look at all the destruction.

When the reporter says the death toll, the camera switches to Mike.

When the reporter says the number of people missing is expected to rise, the camera switches to Will. Literally when the reporter says "to rise", the camera switches to him.
