Lord, my one prayer tonight is this:

Keep making me. Keep pushing me to be a better man, a man after You. Help me see with Your eyes, to feel with Your heart, and to hear Your voice clearly. And most of all, let me decrease so that You increase. Let them see You when they look my way. My name doesnt matter. All that I am, let it be found in You. Thank You, Lord for loving me... even when I cant. Amen.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." The two girls on the right, both 14, have similar prayer requests. One said she is having a difficult time with her Christian walk. She knows she should go to church, but struggles. She wants to follow Jesus better. The one holding the baby said she wants her community to follow Jesus and for them to seek Him more.

YOU are more than him

Dear God,

I want to know you more than I know him…

You are the first person who knows me more than I know myself.

You know that he doesn’t even know this feeling I have for him. But You know exactly what it is.

It’s unfair to seek him first before You. I want to be fair like You.

You already know how I am going to be formed in my mother’s womb.

You even know the cause, time, and place of my death.

You are the only One who knows exactly the number of my hair strands.

You know my family, my plans, my doubts.

Thank you for you are an all-knowing GOD who memorizes my thoughts, words, and actions.

My desire is to know more about You.

 I want to think about You more than I think about him.

You know how often I think about him and it’s so unfair not to think about You the way I do to him.

You know that my thinking about him consumes my time instead of thinking about You and how You can use me here on earth.

I am guilty, Father. You’re mindful of it.

You thought about me when You sent Your Son, Jesus, to save me from death, my sins.

You always think about winning my life so I would turn to You without turning back.

You think of my day, my encounter, my plans for myself which You should be handling since I have surrendered all these to You.

You think of me every moment I breathe.

I wonder what You’re telling me every time my thoughts are about him and only him.

I am sorry, Lord.

My desire is to be mindful of You, Your unfailing grace and unending love.

 I want to talk to You and talk more about You than I talk to him or talk about him.

You always listen to my worries, petitions, and sentiments about life.

You talk about me, Your creation.

You talk to me through Your Word, the Bible.

You reveal to me the things and words I need to hear through readings and visions.

How about me, talking about You, bragging about Your glory, goodness, and greatness to others?

You know I talk to You about him but not as often as I talk about us.

I am guilty, Father. You know it. I talk a lot about him. I do not like it when he kills my speech.

My desire is to brag about You.

 I want to grow with my relationship with You more than planning about our marriage life.

I want to seek You more than I seek for his attention.

You know the effort I am giving to see him but not with the same excitement I feel whenever I am seeing You in my quiet time.

You work hard for my new life and here I am praying hard for my life with him.

You always give Your best for me even if I do not deserve any of it.

I am unfair. I know. Rebuke me.

My desire is to nurture my relationship with You.

 So, here’s my prayer.

I pray that You will make that part of my mind and heart a tabula rasa.

So, whenever You will give me the desire to pray for the godly man You planned for me,

there’ll be no name nor face.

You know God that I love surprises.

I know You want to amaze me the moment Your time is perfect for that last season of my life…

My season to get married.

 For now, and forever,

I want more of You, Jesus, less of him.

💕 pray for my dad, his health has been going up and down lately. He's the strongest man I know and lately it's getting harder and harder seeing him in pain.

I’ll pray! Update: I'm so sorry @moreofjesus i forgot to add encouragement!! I'll just remind you that God listens to you and deeply cares about you and loves you and that God is your Heavenly Father who is willing to more than you could ever ask or think! If you give your burdens to God, He will take them for you and handle them for you!! You're precious in God's eyes and His arms are open to you 😊 God Bless you!

Talking vs Praying

As a conscious Christian, when we talk about our problems or shortcomings we are giving them power over all else including Jesus. Even if it's just something we having a hard time understanding. To the lost souls, we are more lost than they are. Sometimes you may feel you are bringing ppl closer to God with certain things you're sharing about your life. But you are really just pushing them further. As Christians we know that with every testimony there comes a test. Jesus will allow this test to help us grow and be stronger. When ppl who are not saved, see this they are thinking I don't want To go through the trouble. And they start to compare your problems with theirs. Even if you are talking to another Christian, not every Christian is right with God. They may look the part and represent themselves very nicely as the part, however, they are not saved and they have bitterness in their heart for whatever reason. Don't give them something to talk about. The Bible says to trust no man. The Bible says to trust in Jesus and to cast our cares upon him. To pray to him. To tell him about our troubles! No one else. He is the only one who will never use it against you. He is the one that has proven he IS truly for you. He died for you! He loves you. Pray and seek him. Pray about things and keep your testimony covered by the blood of Jesus. The devil is always trying to knock you into the place he once had you. And it is important you push back and fight in the spirit. Talking about your problems can cause drama and will also hinder your walk with God. It shows you do not trust In God. And when you doubt God you are doubting the blessings he has already given to you. And all is in ignorance. It is not fulfilling. Praying edifies Jesus. It places him above your problems because he is worthy. Be a prayer warrior and watch your ministry transform!
