"Evil always finds a way!"

Even to your Nintendo DS! Overlord Minions is probably the most obscure game in the already forgotten Overlord game series, and so I had to give it more attention!

I made a video featuring the complete soundtrack for you to enjoy!

I may also make a full playthrough later if I can find a way to setup everything accordingly, as recording a DS game even on... well... "totally a DS" 🥸... is not that easy to do and especially to make it look good...

A little silly complete sketch of funny glitch from the fan game "Rayman The Dark Magician's Reigh of Terror", where is Mr.Dark for no reason becomes a walking hat with shoes from MortaDolly's video.

UPD: Thanks to MortaDolly, its an actual crawling feature and not a glitch! I`m sorry for everyone about it

Another Rayman Advance track which was remade for Rayman Redemption is Mountain Spring, probably one of the most melancholic pieces of music in the Rayman series!

It sure gave quite an atmosphere to some areas of the game, especially Tempest Terror!

I love how Rayman Redemption remade the Blue Mountains tunes from Rayman Advance, like The Musician’s Song!

I originally had to record the music in-game as the soundtrack wasn’t out yet, so it also featured the Night on Blue Mountain ambient piece. That’s why it’s one of the few tracks to which I dedicated a video for the OST version without extending it!

And that’s why I did a little nod to that at the end of the long version!

I’m currently melting under the summer heat, so now is a good time to bring back this silly old video of mine! 🙃

A very interesting area added in Rayman Redemption was Molten Depths, a volcanic level inspired by Fiery Depths from the Game Boy Color version of Rayman!

It properly expands on the lava briefly featured during the Mr Skops boss fight in Rayman 1!

Also, did you know that the extra Magma ambience in that same level is the only new track not created by Ryemanni? I managed to find the source, and it’s taken from there!

I featured a bit of it at the end of my extended music video for Molten Depths, as there was no point in making an expanded version for Magma as a result!

I like how Rayman Redemption added some new mini-bosses, some even expanding on some special underutilised enemies from Rayman 1!

It’s quite a great coincidence that the mad drummer ended up becoming a Redemption boss, when it was discovered later that he was intended to be an actual mini-boss in the original Rayman all along! Now that’s what you call a happy accident! :)

On the topic of the soundtrack which I recorded in-game before it got released separately, I also captured New Foe combined to the Cave Bongos drum track.

You can hear it that way during the Spider Master fight if you escape with the helicopter cheat code… Don’t know why I considered it was worth making a dedicated video out of it back then, but there it is. :P

The music videos on MortaDolly were the first time I started dabbling into video effects! It began with the Darktoon tracks in Rayman Redemption, and while it looks amateurish, it was a pretty good learning experience!

Speaking of Darktoon's Mischief, I find it interesting how it's the only music in the soundtrack that's different from the in-game version as it features an extra introductory bit!

On that same topic, I happened to use a early take on my Dark Chimera thumbnail for the intro variation just to not let it go to waste...

Which ended up accidentally fitting for Darktoon as Ryemanni revealed he was originally supposed to be transformed into the Dark Chimera, during the game's development! That's also why its music uses Darktoon's leitmotif!

I really had a lot of fun designing those goofy thumbnails too! :P

I remember when I started my bonus MortaDolly channel... At the time, it was called "Blank Painting", didn't even have a original profile pic/banner and was just a personal account to watch videos.

Then, when Rayman Redemption came out and its OST wasn't out yet, I thought: "Hey, why not record the soundtrack myself and use that extra channel to share all of it?"

Turns out it ended up becoming a pretty big success! And thus, my second channel was properly borned, and I kept using it to post all of my random stuff and extras from my gameplay YouTube channel!

So, if you listened to individual videos of Redemption's music back in the days, you probably did it on "Blank Painting", which then evolved into "Mysterious Doll" as we got to the "extended tracks" era, and finally MortaDolly!

Thank you for all the love you gave to MortaDolly over the years! You are amazing!

Of course, go give all the love you can to Ryemanni, who made this fantastic remake of my childhood game and its lovely soundtrack! I am so deeply grateful for everything he has achieved around Rayman 1, and all of his Rayman fangames are a delight to play!

Halloween was yesterday Halloween is totally today and I’m totally not late to celebrate due to my new job! 👻

For such a terrifying time, here’s my 100% playthrough on The Spooky Raymansion by Ryemanni! It’s the first horror game I played for my channels, and quite a funny one at that with our good old Noseless Rayman taking his first steps!

I also did a bonus video featuring my failed attempts, back from the days when I didn’t use MortaDolly to post my extra content!

Even if it aged terribly compared to its sequels due to being a complete shitpost game thrown together in a few days, it’s quite a hilarious experience! Definitely worth a quick try, at least!

In 2020, I had started a Dailymotion playthrough for Worms United, doing generic matches against computer opponents so I could showcase every landscape type... It never got far as I quickly lost interest into the platform as an alternative, and so I plan to resume the playthrough on my YouTube channels!
