I think mortimer actually likes yumeko somewhat ( plantonic ofc) but he cant bring himself to realize it or admit it to himself. Hes like "yes i pick on and trick her all the time but if somebody else does it they will pay."

Hello! Sorry it took so long for me to respond to this. A lot of big changes are happening in my life and I just started going back into some of the things I enjoy!

But yes. Mortimer definitely has a soft spot for Yumeko. She is kinda on the same footing as Tido: Mortimer cares but also he is still number one. He is allowed to mess with the naive little girl, but if someone else tries then they will wish the twins got them first.

Will he ever say he cares? Great Sevens no! That is too much affection for him. The most you will get is him pretending not to be as disgusted about certain things he usually would be.

┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ I wasn't planning to work on the Wild Card Quest yet but accidentally accomplished part of it today when entering the White Glove Society. After hearing Benny's distain and Yes Man's description of it I was VERY curious to see what it was like.

Upon entering I met a man named Heck Gunderson who not only controls the meat market but was also looking for his missing son (named Ted). I offered to help him and began investing (o´▽`o)ﾉ!

( ＾◡＾) After speaking with Majorie the head of the White Glove Society I learned A LOT!!! There's rumors that the White Glove Society consumes human meat. Something Majorie vehemently denies. She also mentions a Private Investigator who is staying there and is looking for a missing woman 👀

Majorie also denies the WGS being involved in that.

She even advises me that I go speak with Mortimer the maître d' AKA her assistant. To give me access to the Private Investigator's room. Upon speaking with Mortimer I'm able to use speech to get him to admit to his involvement in Ted's disappearance and his cannibalism. Lying that I'm interested as well he gives me Ted's location and the key to the PI's room.

(╭ರ_•́) I entered the Private Investigator's room while using my last stealth boy, I grabbed the information I needed and slipped away before security could find me. It revealed he was meeting an informant at 4PM in the steam room.

At the steam room I met Chauncey an employee who revealed he helped in that woman's disappearance and provided me with info before being murdered by an assassin ( ҂` ﾛ ´)︻デ═一 ＼(º □ º l|l)/!!

Not wanting to get in the cross fire I slipped away then headed the kitchen area. After lying to security I THEN MENTALLY TORTURED THE HEAD CHEF NAMED PHILIPPE.

(⚆ _ ⚆) I'm not kidding. I made him remember his traumatic childhood, lied that I'd publish his cookbook and then told him I saw a radroach in his kitchen!!! All just to get him to leave.

I then prepared the recipe he had been working on, imitation human meat. While the food was being served I broke Ted out and snuck us into the party.

Mortimer wanted to trick, blackmail and manipulate the White Glove Society into eating human meat again.

However after his grand speech I revealed the truth. No one had eaten human meat that night. Mortimer then fled, I was able to stop the cannibalism situation and returned Heck's son. Along with convincing him to still do business with the White Glove Society.

Cannot tell you how many times I had to redo this Quest (even while following a guide). TED WAS SO UNGRATEFUL AND ANNOYING!!! Look what he says after being returned to his father!

Ted Gunderson: "iF YoU KNeW wHat YoU WEre dOIng I cOUld'VE BeEN oUT oF THEre HOurS AgO."

Majorie SUCKS just as much as Mortimer but at least she doesn't eat humans. The White Glove Society is a bunch of egotistical jerks but if they're not causing any actual harm to the people (outside overcharging for their drinks) then they can temporarily stay.

I THINK ABOUT THIS PRIOR CONVERSATION BETWEN YESMAN AND MY COURIER SO MUCH!!!

Courier: "So I should ask these tribes if they'll support an Independent Vegas?"

Yes Man: "Oh no, I didn't mean that! Who needs their support? The Securitrons will be all the support you need! What I meant is, you should get to know these tribes and decide which ones you like and which you don't! You know - shape the future of Vegas! Choose your neighbors! If you like a tribe, leave it alone! Or if a tribe is nasty or going to be a problem - go ahead and exterminate it! It's whatever you want to do!"

She's focused on evaluating who is and isn't best for her ideal New Vegas and the Securitrons. Hearing Yes Man say, "The Securitrons will be all the support you need!" makes her giddy 🥴. However she also wants to support them through her good leadership skills. After all she's CONSTANTLY criticizing the NCR and doesn't want to end up like them.

She also doesn't want to end up like Mr. House. His poor leadership let Benny easily betray him and cannibalism exist within New Vegas. HELL LEGION MEMBERS HAVE EASILY ENTERED THE STRIP!!!

A worn gravestone rests in the Goth family cemetery, distinctly out of place from the rest. How long has it been there? Mortimer spent much of his childhood playing in the family's private cemetery, touching each stone as he ran by, careful to not be disrespectful or careless. He remembers the first time he saw the gravestone which felt like it appeared out of the blue one day, despite his family's reassurance that he must have overlooked it in the past. With no birth or death date inscribed, the family hasn't a clue when she lived or even how she met her end. No one seems to recall what the girl might have looked like or if she was even a young girl at all. It's unknown if she ever loved, if she had hopes and dreams that were cut short. Maddening, Mortimer decides, would not be a concise enough word to cover the intricate puzzle that her grave weaves. After all, the aristocratic and macabre Goths have always revered the dead. For generations they have kept the stories of family members past like a sacred oath, so how could this woman be forgotten? How could her story be lost to time, with not even a trace of her existence in the copious, comprehensive paper trail each family member has deliberately curated and left behind?

Once a year, always on the same day as the year before, Mortimer feels called to visit the cemetery and pay the unknown girl's plot a visit. Under the pale light of the moon, he tries to make sense of why his heart aches for her and why he feels akin to this person whose history has seemingly been erased. He thinks that, perhaps, if he looks at the weathered stone hard enough and grazes his fingertips along the delicate white flower that grows from the earth atop it, he will find the answer to a question he doesn't fully understand, but has felt in his bones since childhood:

Orion was Fawn’s first love... Coming from a family of wealthy sailors, he was often away to the seas. He always brought little treasures to his beloved... She was his favorite treasure, his darling... To him, her smile could brighten up his darkest days. Soon, they were known as the cutest couple in school.

However, this was all an act... He gained Fawn’s trust enough for her to open up, to let her show her merform or even let him see her corestone (the pearl on her tiara). Orion was delighted to hear these. He told her he would love her even if she was a monster. She held on to his words... Stayed strong and bright...

The promise wasn’t kept since he was the very reason she became corrupted (a.k.a overblotted for the first time)

One day Orion came with all his men and declared a war against Abyssal Sea. She and her siblings were shocked, but they all defended their home against the two legged beasts. All except one; Fawn refused to believe this was Orion’s true nature, she wanted to believe that this was all a lie, but then she heard him yell out to not cease the fire until everyone is dead. The residents’ homes were destroyed, they were crying in pain and hurt.

As the queen, Fawn defended her kingdom as well as her people. When she came to the surface, however, she noticed that Orion was laughing like a maniac while telling his crew to just kill everyone, not caring what happens next. That was when Fawn interfered with her powers, destroying the ships one by one until only Orion’s ship left. But then he used his UM, which allows him to control blots around him, and formed a mermaid holding a spear at the edge of the ship. Then he turned the ship when she swam forward to attack him and impaled her with it. Orion thought he was victorious, but then Raven came and sank his ship almost immediately. She also tried to execute him, but he escaped thanks to the necklace Fawn gave to him before, which allowed him to breathe underwater.

As Fawn was sinking down to the bottom, Alfina used her own UM, that allows her to actually revive someone at the cost of her memories and her vitality, on her to bring her back. (This is also the reason why she has a scar on her chest!)

When Fawn came back, but overblotted, she summoned huge storm for Orion, who now had to fight her. She told him she would never, ever forgive him for what he did. He laughed and kept dodging her hits like it was nothing, causing her to destroy more of her own kingdom. (The people were evacuated from there in time, but it still haunts her to this very day.)

When Fawn was defeated, he escaped but not without getting harmed. Before she fell down, she cursed him for a lifetime to be an underwater creature for the rest of his life... Orion laughed it off at first, but when he noticed that he was slowly becoming an outcast with his family trying to fix him, he came back to her and begged her to change him back. When she refused, he cried but the Fawn he used to know was long gone. And she wasn’t going remove the curse anytime soon...

Amber was Iris’s best friend, a close-knit friend. They were inseparable, like siblings. They knew each other’s deepest secrets, fears and crushes. Whatever they did, they did it together.

One day came when everything changed... A new guy in school came and stole everyone’s hearts. Made his way to the two ladies and started hanging out with them... Soon, he joined the Abyssal Sea group too and got to know others too... The new guy soon became a part of the group and even got to know the other two (Faith and Fawn) too...

However, when Iris confessed to him that she loved him, he paused for a moment...

AND LAUGHED HIS ASS OFF!!!

He said, “Ha! You, a fish?! I’d never, ever love something like you!”

Iris was heartbroken, but it got worse when she saw Amber recording her while laughing her ass off too. Tears filled her eyes as she looked down, and soon a crowd of students rushed to there. When they heard what happened to Amber, they started laughing too. It became even worse when she came out, people around her started to ridicule and even berate her... Amber started posting pictures with that guy on Magicam out of spite, showing how happy they are despite her being sad. That was when the other two came in clutch to calm her down and cheer her up. Faith brought her snacks while Fawn brought movies and lots of blankets to her. They also went to karaoke every weekend! (Actually, they still do that-)

Oh, and did I mention that this was the reason why Iris didn’t come to her classes often in her second year?

Viktor was once a respected scientist working on cancer research, until his spouse died and he delved into forbidden techniques like necromancy.

Icarus is a purebred puppy originally sold to a wealthy family. He became a street mutt before being adopted by darling due to him being clumsy and overly attached to his owners

Mortimer is considered "broken" by his species because of his inability to shift forms to appeal to prey. He was also close with Maxwell prior to his (Maxwell's) captivity.

Maxwell, prior to captivity, was a complete 180 from his post captivity personality. He was snappy and aggressive with most other mer who interacted with him. Other than Mortimer of course

Alejandro is the last of his species darling would have to stumble upon his hiding place (an old Victorian palace he turned into his lair) because if he left, he'd be hunted for his scales

Martin is blind in one eye and can't see shit without his glasses. It pisses his dad off that his "only" son has such imperfections.

Bo is Martin's older brother, he's not the heir to their family's empire because their father is a transphobic asshole and the only reason he keeps in contact is because they give him money out of pity

Why is it the thing that I actually feel accomplished about lately is that. I'm almost done with one neighborhood on my sims 4 save I'm making for myself. I've got one more family to finish for Willow Creek and then I can move onto the other worlds.

🎁 - How do they feel about their birthday/birthdays in general?

Furo:

They do not like their birthday. If they could get away with people not knowing when it was, they totally would. There are two reasons why they don't like it. 1) Family always insisted on inviting everyone for a party. Family and village members. Too many people all at once and Furo was the center of everything. A common conversation during the middle of the party:

Furo: Daddy, when is everyone leaving?

Furo's dad: Not for another few hours.

Furo: Okay...Daddy, when can I leave?

Furo's dad: You can't leave.

Furo: Dang it...

2) Bad things always seem to happen around their birthday. Now yes, they were prone to getting into sticky situations, but they were pretty tame most days. The really bad things always happened either the day before or day of their birthday. Some years nothing happened, but it was very infrequent.

Because of these things, Furo doesn't really do much for birthdays for others. They'll wish the person well and if they are close will give a gift. Furo usually needs to be persuaded to join a party.

Ronald:

Ronald is actually pretty indifferent towards birthdays. When you spend every day celebrating your existence, your birthday doesn't really stand out. He mostly sees it as a day he can get more model building supplies and when people don't look as annoyed if he boasts. Ron will just act how he usually does on his or someone else's birthday. It'll be energetic and vibrant. He honestly will forget his own birthday is coming up. Someone else will need to remind him.

Florian:

Absolutely loves birthdays! He will throw a party and invite everyone he knows. It's a perfect excuse to gather together and be social. His Aunt and Uncle would actually put a cap on how many people he could invite. The misery! How could he possibly choose between all the amazing people he has come to know? He doesn't even care about gifts; he just wants people gathered around him. It is the one day you will not have to worry about him waking up late or falling asleep in the middle of the day.

If you tell this happy skunk your birthday, you have to tell him very clearly if you don't want it to be a big deal. Otherwise, he will throw you the largest surprise party. Granted, he will do his best to cater it towards your taste, but he will crank it up about ten notches. Flo will invite people that you won't even know, but he knows them and thinks you'll get along great, so they should come too! If you try to hide when your birthday is, he will be very sad. Has a planner filled solely with people's birthdays.

Phoebus:

Forced quality time with his brother because they share a birthday? Wonderful! The type to wait till midnight to call him and be the first to wish him happy birthday. The one day he has an excuse to bombard Kell with all the pent-up affection he has and Kell takes it without much of a fuss. Bonus, Kell even gives Phoebus affection willingly on their birthday! Phoebus couldn't care less about what others are doing that day. It is the one day he doesn't worry about the future and stays in the moment. It's a sweet day.

He isn't really concerned with other people's birthdays. He doesn't try to be inconsiderate! Phoebus just forgets until it's the day of. To combat this though, he keeps a stockpile of possible gifts for people he cares about. Wrapped and tagged and ready to just be pulled from the depths of its hiding place. Will look terrified when he finds out the day is your birthday and will run to get the gift. Gifts may be something you like, or a completely random thing that is accompanied by a "It'll be of use soon".

Mortimer:

It's...complicated. He likes his birthday because it's one of the few days he felt his dad actually cared about him, but on the other hand it's one of the few days he felt his dad actually cared about him. Mortimer enjoyed the affection he got on that day, but as he got older it just became a bitter taste in his mouth. He respects birthdays, his sister will note it is the only day he seems to be more real with himself. No fake smiles, no manipulative remarks, no backhanded comments. Mort is just tired and uses this day to reset.

He takes this mindset to other people's birthdays as well. He won't try to be nasty. He'll just let the person take a break. His sister's birthday an example where he will just be very honest with her. If she asks him to do something with/for her, he will accept, but make it very clear he is just giving her the same courtesy he expects on his birthday.

Tido:

Okay, so on his bio it says his birthday is March 21st, but that is kind of made up. Tido doesn't know when his actual birthday is. When the villagers asked him about his age and birthday, Tido could only shrug. Did not know what a birthday was. He just remembers waking up in early-mid spring and stumbling about. So, the villagers took that and made an estimated guess for when he woke up again and slapped a birthday label on it.

He still doesn't understand how birthdays work, but he's getting the hang of it! You give people a thing to celebrate them gaining consciousness! Right?

🤔 - What’s something they’ll never understand?

Furo:

The difference between friendship and romance. Furo is somewhere between demiromantic and grey-romantic. They know there is a slight difference in feeling romantic attraction and just wanting to be friends with a person, but gosh darn is it hard to find! Knows what flirting is! It may take them a hot second to realize it if they are the ones being flirted with, but Furo does understand that!

If someone questions them, oh Great Seven, Furo will stare blankly as they try to answer. Playing 20-questions is the only way for them to get close to figuring out if they like someone as just a friend or more. Even afterwards the likelihood of Furo just being like "I know I said I wouldn't mind smooching or cuddling Person A, and I get all fuzzy with them, but it's normal to want to cuddle with friends and feel happy with them. Right?"

Call them out. Hit them with examples of "this is definitely romantic and not platonic". It's the only way. And be prepared to do it all over again very soon.

Ronald:

He is not immortal. He very much can die, and it can happen over the simplest things. Ronald knows what pain is, but it's like his brain just glosses over that fact when he is thinking about doing something. You can explain it to him in the simplest way possible, you can save him from being crushed/eaten/ burnt to a crisp and he'll just say "See! I'm fine!"

I wouldn't not be offended if you chose to throw him back into the danger.

If the person gets upset, truly, over his recklessness, Ronny will get so worried. He doesn't want to worry people, that's the last thing he wants! Ronald isn't ignorant about death, but he just can't see the harm of running over the rickety ravine if he has to get to the otherside.

Florian:

Why his parents had to die.

Phoebus:

Cutting his hair will not end the world. He never even saw a timeline where that happened, and yet he will squeal if you try to cut his hair as if it will. He will come up every excuse under the sun as to why he cannot cut his hair. Even now, if someone were to suggest it, Phoebus will throw a mini tantrum. Kell also doesn't cut his hair, but it's because he didn't want Phoebus to feel bad about not wanting his hair cut. Even with their rocky relationship, Kell still won't cut his hair until Phoebus does.

Other than that, he doesn't care about what happens with his hair really. Phoebus makes sure it doesn't get matted, but that's about it. If he were to wake up to find someone cut his hair in the middle of the night...he will never leave his bunker.

Mortimer:

Why his father dislikes him. He can't recall what he possibly could have done as a child to warrant the blatant difference in treatment, but if that's how it's going to be then he won't fight back about it anymore. He'll just be the horrible son.

Mortimer even tried to look into his mom to see if there was something there. Like, his mom got sick after giving birth to him or something. Even if it was a stupid reason, at least it was a reason. But nothing. No info on what happened to her. It's like she just...vanished. And with that so was his hopes of trying to mend this relationship.

Tido:

Tido! You can't just leave your leg in the middle of the courtyard!

He isn't really used to his prosthetic. Tido will either forget about it and start his day with only one leg, or he will take it off in the middle of the day and forget it somewhere. No matter how often he gets scolded, he keeps doing it. He also uses it as a prop for skits.

Tido was in the woods for a long time and was agile enough to maneuver with only one leg. He didn't find the village and get his leg until a long while afterwards. While it does make life easier, sometimes he just gets annoyed with it and throws it aside.

🎨 - What’s their favorite color?

Furo:

Aqua/teal. Most of their wardrobe outside of school is in the gradient of blue and green with complimenting colors

Ronald:

Pink. It reminds him of the blossom in the trees at spring.

Florian:

Yellow. Nice sunshine color that makes him feel all fuzzy and sleepy. He just wants to rub it in his face, but he will settle for his tail instead.

Phoebus:

Magenta. It reminds him of his mother. She always wore magenta lipstick because it reminded her of pomegranates.

Mortimer:

Green. It's rich and fuels the soul.

Tido:

Beige. Likes how plain it is. Let's him breathe.
