Type: Grass/Dark

Evolves from Floorwort

Having laid claim to land, Floorwort would expand itself over the empty territory. Latching onto rocks to draw minerals from, they would eventually relax into their controlled space, becoming Mossbosses. Mossboss would continue the legacy of Floorwort’s violent territorialism by smacking all other Pokémon away from its space.

This is lovely! Do you do it professionally?

Wow -- thanks! You’re kind to say so. I don’t do it professionally, but I do really love doing stranded colorwork. I find it very relaxing & I love to watch the patterns bloom up. I like knitting it at least as much as wearing it, maybe more. I mostly knit for myself b/c the kind of knitted garments I like cost more than I’m willing to pay, plus they’re not as nice as handknit ones. Or at least that’s what I tell myself!

Type: Grass

Evolves into Mossboss

Before coming onto land, Floorwort were fiercely territorial plants, fighting each other for nearby resources. Clusters of Floorwort by the seashore were so internally competitive that many were forced onto the land to survive. They protected themselves from desiccation by folding their fronds inwards.
