Backstory: Matt’s parents were part of a sinister organisation and worked as genetic scientists. Matt was the subject of one of their human experiments at four, and when that resulted in him getting lava powers he couldn’t control, he was placed on an uninhabited island and essentially abandoned. Canine was the only other person on the island, but since she was told it was her job to keep him from leaving they never bonded or worked together to get off the island. It wasn’t until Valala showed up that he was able to escape.

if your muse had to be part of any evil or antagonistic Pokèmon Team, which one would it be?

I answer in more detail here, but Lucy was extremely close to joining TEAM AQUA when she was younger. With her mother's sudden passing, Lucy's restless soul and appetite for battle quickly found solace among the other delinquents and outcasts her age, existing on the fringes of Lilycove's hard-nosed seaport. Aqua recruited heavily within these outskirt districts, and Lucy--along with so many others--was drawn in by the budding team's vision and sense of community. (Say what you will about Archie, but that man had the free-spirited charisma to win a lot of strong people over, readily eager to take up his cause. That's leadership.)

If it hadn't been for Scott's otherworldly scouting abilities, Lucy would have likely turned to Aqua for support instead--and she would have been damn good at her job there. To this day, she still maintains connections with Archie and other ex-members of the team, and she can sometimes be found racing atop her Milotic off the coast or rendezvousing with company in what remains of the Aqua hideout.

I could also see Lucy slotting in to TEAM ROCKET in some fashion! She is a frequent user of their cross-regional, 'unofficial' trading services (it's how she got her Steelix--Ekans is next on the wishlist) and I headcanon she maintains a distant, though friendly 'business relationship' with the leadership there. (Olive's Archer @reiketsui and Proton @crueliste being frequent visitors to the Pike come to mind so far. 💜 More to come...?)

While she does treasure her Frontier position above all else, Lucy's self-defined neutrality will mean that she is always going to be open to a side-hustle or two given the right terms, regardless of alignment or affiliation. 🤙

I drew the two main GW2 guys. A commander and his dragon. I have never managed a full body drawing of Prim so far actually. I think I only sketched a full body for them once. But here they finally are!

I still can't believe I originally made Prim as a joke of Primordus as an asura, but then proceeded to write actual lore for them and eventually even decided that they should date my main commander (and the only one at the time) Rhixak.

Here's a big project I've been working on for a few weeks: a phylogenetic tree of everything in Minecraft! It would take ages to explain everything here, so if you want an explaination of any inclusions, exclusions, categorisations or Latin names PLEASE PLEASE PUHLEASE ask me I would love to answer any questions :3

At the bottom is the Origin of Life, which branches out into five kingdoms - amoebozoa, animalia, fungi, algae and plantae.

Amoebozoa is in pink. It branches into Sculk (latin name sculk sculk) and then into slimes (scindo uliginosus) and magma cubes (scindo igneum)

Animalia starts off in orange. It branches off into the five types of coral (Fire - millepora, horn - rugosa, tube - tubipora musica, bubble - Plerogyra sinuosa, brain - diploria). The second branch of animalia branches off to the sponge (in the phylum demospongiae) and then to molluscs and arthropods.

Moluscs first branches off to the shulker (duopartes purpur) then to the nautilus (latin name nautilus), the ghast (Exspiravita inferno) the heart of the sea (unknown latin name), the squid (Immiforma caeruleum) and the glow squid (Immiforma crepuscula). The heart of the sea and nautilus are both marked with a dagger symbol, indicating they are extinct.

Arthropods branches off to the enderman (gracillis sapiens) and the ender dragon (draconiforma finis). It also branches off into insects, featuring bees (bombus enormus) and silverfish (Lepisma saccharinum), as well as to arachnids, featuring the endermite (terminus limina), the spider (rufoculos nocturnis) and the cave spider (rufoculos caverna).

Carrying on from the branch of animalia is the sea pickle (Pyrosoma) and then the vertebrates, which are coloured in reddish orange. The first branch contains the Queen angelfish (Holacanthus ciliaris), the emperor red snapper (Lutjanus sebae) and the moorish idol (Zanclus cornutus). the second branch contains salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka). The third branch contains the yellowtail parrotfish (Sparisoma rubripinne), the clownfish (Amphiprion percula) and the dottyback (Diadem pseudochromis). The next branch contains cod (Gadus). the final fish branch contains the triggerfish (Abalistes stellatus), the pufferfish (Arothron meleagris) and the yellow tang (Zebrasoma flavescens).

Next the branch transitions into tetrapods. coming off this are amphibians, which includes the frog (Lithobates thermochroma) and the axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum)
