What if Gerry knew Jon from Jon's college band days when he would go wandering at night to get away from his mother and wandered into the pub they were playing at? What if Gerry had a crush the kind of kind of gangly guy who had long, nimble fingers on strong, hands and a perpetually chapped lower lip that got caught between slightly upper teeth when he ripped out a heavy bass solo. What if Gerry was thinking about talking to him and had finally worked up the courage to do so one night but a confident black woman with a million micro braids in her bob brushed past him and greeted Jon, one hand coming up to rest on the sliver of skin peeking out between Jon's tee and the waistband of his ratty jeans? What if Gerry thought Jon was straight and, before he had time to find out Jon was available and had been looking back, Mary ruined everything by mangling herself with the skin book? What if they both recognized each other when Jon summons Gerry, mere feet away from Julia and Trevor, but neither says anything because what difference does it make? Gerry is dead and Jon might as well be his murderer.

As someone who's been around for a long time in this fandom it is fucking wild to see people claiming no one bats an eye at age gaps in ships (GerryMichael specifically, but also Gertrude/Agnes) when that was such huge fandom drama three years ago. Don't worry it happened! Most people just decided it didn't really matter bc they're fictional characters lol

I, don’t know if I’m proud of this but I spent too much time on it so it gets to be posted! Uh- I don’t talk about him much (don’t talk about TMA too much on here anyway) but Gerry is one of my favorites!! Even if he’s like super dead. Anyways- I got really particular about the ‘he has eye tattoos on all of his joints’ and that includes the stuff like your jaw joint, or the three(?) joints in your like collarbone area (how you like can fold in on yourself I think-?) so he got his silly little eyes.

That’s it- might edit this if I chose to go back and make the background darker because the pale yellow is messing with me for some reason-

I headcanon that Gerry's "shitty artificial dye job" is actually an artistic expression of himself. He CAN colour his hair properly. He simply doesn't want to. The missed spots, grown roots, and slight damage from repeated use of cheap dye boxes,all of those, are his trademark ™️ . And honestly? He knows he owes it!

What TMA characters do you think would be as an animal? Here's a few of mine! Only just started S4 BTW so opinions may change. Also some of these I based of what the animal represents or their tendencies.

Jon - Moth vibes, dragon fly, fox, panther

Martin - maybe a fox due to appearances. Possibly Cow. Golden retriever personality S1, ooh or an Ainu maybe an artic wolf? Maybe a bear?

Tim - ferret, racoon, lizard, cool animals

Sasha - Mimic Octopus and blue jay for reasons... But yea maybe something mousey or like an owl especially for s1?

Melanie - Pygmy Goat, ram idk she just kinda guves that vibe. Like look at them and then look at her. Same thing.

Basira - crow/raven aka a corvid bcs she's smart

Daisy - wolf, Black-footed cat, other types of hunters

Elias - snake (obvi), jackal, eagle, owl, agree with the horned owl

Peter Lukas - polar bear agree with that, squid/octopus, Kelpie (not real but oh well)

Mike - birds. Idk which just birds. Preferably blue or white. Maybe the Impundulu or Alpine Chough. A goat/ram bcs thunder. Marten. Snow lepord

Michael - Adax, box jellyfish, sea slug, lilac breasted roller

Helen - butterfly, Livingstone's Cichlids, Orchid mantis

Georgie - fluffy cat! Bat, raven, Moth, black swan

Gerry - axolotl, bearded dragon, bat, again cool animals

Trevor - bear, wolf, hawk

Julia - hare, black ram, wolf

Nikola - coyote, cuttlefish, Angler Fish, vampire squid and yknow what screaching owl

Breekon & Hope - margay, rams, bulls, parrot, gorrila, tiger

Danny (Stoker) - honey badger

Any other ideas? Even if it's just one or two give it a whirl ❤️
