(this started off as just a positive rant about my art but it ended up being a lot more motivational than intended, so... just read it if you feel like giving up on art.)

strangely enough recently my art has been... good? like... i look at it and think "theres no way i made that" but i DID. and its CRAZY. i really drew that stuff. like, the comparison of like... 2 years ago to now? it's like... not the same anymore.. but i drew it. crazy.

this is my art from... maybe 2020-2021? not sure.

not the worst, but CERTAINLY not good.

to think i've come this far.

at any time i could've given up.

but now i think something's changed.

i'm starting to see the good

that came from my determination.

to all the artists out there, don't give up. even if you think you'll never get better. I THOUGHT THAT TOO. I STILL SOMETIMES THINK THAT. but look. i improved. and you can too. even if it takes a long time. even if it takes a lot of work. even if it makes you feel hopeless. don't lose that hope. if i did, i wouldn't be where i am today. i wouldn't be NEARLY as happy. i wouldn't have most of MYSELF today.

so please. don't give up.
