The Höllentalanstieg to the Zugspitze

The Höllentalanstieg offers a unique alpine experience in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. The name "Höllental" might put some people off, but this is precisely the route that attracts countless climbers every year looking for an adrenaline rush and breathtaking natural scenery.

Starting point is Hammersbach

The climb begins in the picturesque village of Hammersbach. From here, follow the trail along the Höllentalklamm, an impressive gorge with thundering waterfalls and steep rock walls. For many, the passage through the gorge is already a highlight.

After crossing the gorge, you reach the Höllentalangerhütte, which is located at 1,387 meters above sea level. This place is perfect for a rest or even an overnight stay to strengthen yourself for the further ascent.

The real challenge of the Höllental climb begins with the via ferrata, which leads over the infamous "Brett" passage. This is an almost vertical wall with iron pins and clamps hammered into the rock. Despite the secured areas, this section requires a head for heights and a good physical condition.

Another highlight is crossing the Höllentalferner, one of the few remaining glaciers in Germany. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this passage can be tricky and often requires the use of crampons and ice axes.

Trying to focus on some side projects, so got another pony thing going on, for this one it's more restoration than customisation, but I'll be starting on the custom ones along side it.

So I got a ratassed mountainboy pony for cheap and cleaned the body up since it was full of rust and mold (got it all out so happy he wasn't too far gone)

Bottom two pictures are after cleaning, so he's brighten up alot and was able to get rid of some marks, lost a bit of hair from the head from it being damaged, same with the tail as what was saved was the longest parts of it, so I added it to spare tail I had.

These pics you can see how bad the mold and rust was inside the body, I also had my husband help remove the head with his Stanley knife so we did rip the vinyl with how badly bonded the glue was to the body. (you can see a big chunk of rust loose in the tail by the metal clip)

So now that he's cleaned, I'm just waiting for some 2 part epoxi clay to arrive so I can make a new ear and start on the full custom ponies with the pink one being turned into my bat pone oc Neem (but with smaller wings going on him) and the other with a carousel theme, but I'm not sure if I should also put some sculpted parts on her too with the saddle, bridle and flowers.
