you know what i like about tinn? that he is a complete broken image of a nerd. he's the school president, top of the class, medical school assured, principal mom, and all of that. he's a stereotypical strict need who would fill in as an extended arm of school enforced authority. and that's where tinn is so special.

because aside from all that makes him a topper kid, he's also just a kid in love. he has his moments of daydreaming, his dramatic actions like running for school president just to make sure his crush's club is safe. he's just another kid who loves to imagine kissing his crush, supporting him and having an average high school experience.

there's a pattern where nerdy, topper, "teacher's pet" kids apparently are too dense/unfeeling or even if they do have feelings for someone, their rules are too rigid. tinn is an antithesis of that.

Sound and Tinn had a huge rivalry when they were younger

Sound likes the tough kind of love (the are we genuinely fighting or flirting? kind of deal)

Tinn, while seemed antagonistic towards Gun for a bit, is really a huge softie and simp who just wants to be a cute little boyfriend

They're not good at expressing their feelings (Sound didn't know how to talk to Win once he realized his feelings for him and it took Tinn years of failed attempts to get to where he is now with Gun)

They're both gay

Hypothesis:

Sound had a crush on Tinn (that he may have reciprocated) that Tinn completely misinterpreted as actual dislike of him and thus the rivalry was born

The series is so cute and innocent and the amount of big hugs we got is beyond anything I could have imagined and I personally prefer comforting and loving hugs over kisses.

Jokes about Tinn being a drama queen aside, I really did appreciate how he handled the wait at the beginning of the episode so so well. We clearly see how much he's frustrated by the separation, but with Gun himself he's nothing but supportive and patient. He's so respectful to Gun's request and doesn't put any extra pressure on him.

And in return Gun really does tell him immediately when he finishes and actually bikes to his house in the middle of the night!! Truly showing us that YES this relationship is so mutual and they're so *vague fluffy gesture*

Should we be thankful that this scene did not happen in our skyy 2 because if that universe's Tinn was asked this question he would've said "yes, you" so quick. I trust my baby Tinn to never let such chances slip by. They'd be dating half an episode into our skyy 2 and that's it, end of story.

Just look at this guy. Never letting any chance go. It's just that he fell in love with dork who's always running away so they took their time to get together.

Tinn always comes through, multiverse or not.

following up on my tinn post, what i also love about msp is that neither the MCs not their friends ever says something like "he'd never like me"/"you're out of his league". they're all hardly meddlesome and they're so respectful of the relationship that tinngun have. except for rock and star, you never think gun felt that he couldn't be together with tinn. and tinn equally, is so guiless, so lacking in ego, he never considers it an easy thing to get gun to like him.

it's just refreshing to see characters treat their feelings with respect. there's no denial. there's no "no way you like me". they both acknowledge the external factor stopping them and tinn stands his ground on how he can't pretend and lie about not having feelings for gun. there's no self-inflicted pain.

and gun too is so respectful of the step that tinn takes, "i can't do anything about it right now, but please don't give up on me, i don't want you to." "i like that you like me, you know that i like you too, and i don't want you to think otherwise."

it speaks a lot to the love and care put in this lil show. so much respect for each other. the friend groups, the parents, everyone. just so much love, respect and communication. who said you need conflict, love triangles, cheating to make a story interesting?
