I said I was going to make iterators versions of my pjo scugs so here's Hazel's with her scug redesign!

I'm not 100% set on the names yet and honestly am not vibing with DE, but by god is the lore cooking up some soup in my brain (long lore dumps + some design notes below break)

Honestly the Iterator designs are just for fun so not much thought will be put into a storyline, but here it is so far:

Distant Echoes was first of her Local Group to be built. She was created to hold a small population of ancient engineers and scientists as they perfected Iterator design around the region. However, due to the growing load she experienced, her structure was shut down and re-wired with the newer developments of a 3rd Gen model. She's jokingly considered the youngest alongside Seven Flames, Nine Embers (SFNE), Metal of Ten Sung Choirs (MTSC), and First of Minds Fragmented (FoMF) despite retaining memories older than even the Rain itself.

She experiences momentary power failure occasionally, as her structure is still at it core a 1st Gen and therefore less efficient. Her and the others have experienced mild to severe weathering, with damage ranging from temporary memory loss to frequent function disruptions. Still, she tries to keep a positive attitude and utilises her knowledge of Ancient culture to piece together a Solution alongside the Local Group

As for design, I just wanted to make her recognisable as Hazel while keeping with rw's designs. I made her body metallic and her robes like CJ's camp shirt + her overalls. The pearls as a nod to her connection with jewels and metals (on her wires), with more earthy brown for a grounded personality. Not much thinking tbh. Her wires being encased in silver is also a me trying to get locs since I couldn't get her hair shape in there like normal :)

Oh! right, I made her symbol look like Pluto's Y thing mixed with the X karma

Apostate on the other hand is so full of trauma I essentially combined my headcanons for Hunter and Saint's states of being together and smashed them into another traumatised character lmao

Apostate is from a long, long time ago. She was given the Mark and was sent off to help discover the void fluid. Her job was to search through drill holes made by the Ancients and to come back with findings. So, she was bioengineered for higher intelligence than the others of her species at the time. Eventually, she made it to the Void, and her job was finished. The only options left was to either go further or retire. The Ancients chose what they saw as mercy and the Apostate fell against her will.

She fought against the Void and because of this, her more than sufficient Karma wasn't enough for ascension. Instead, she found herself bound in limbo- halfway bound to both life and death. An Echo in physical form.

When she finally made it out, she forsook her old teachings and started anew with a new colony of slugcats. She actively embraces the cardinal sins in fear of being dragged back down There.

Apostate earned herself the name Martyr once her colony found out about her past

again, not much thought behind the designs since I want to keep them game-accurate enough. Her pupils are shaped like the final karma symbol and the edges of her fur look like they're floating away. Typical echo shenanigans tbh. However, when the others reach just the right cycle, they may see shadowy tendrils float from her form

Van's lucky MTSC is surprisingly lenient about him jailbreaking the experimental Holo Core three times. Nintendo would have hired the Red Constellation on him at this point.

Hello Tumblr!

Second chika ko for the last day of June! Wieeee! So okay, June 30 is the day for Annual Pinning Ceremony ng Department namin and required kaming nandoon na mga council since kami din yung magfafacilitate hihi. Maaga na naman ako nakarating don at akala ko malalate ako kasi medyo late na ako nakasakay ng bus pero sakto lang ako nakarating sa school, ako pa pinaka naunang dumating. Gutom pa naman din ako non so bumili ako ng Richoco sa may canteen at naloka ako kasi ang mahal niya don yawa 15 pesos sha huhu pero kailangan ko kumain para hindi ako magutom agad, naka white uniform din kami kasi pinagrequired kami na ayon ang suotin.

Nagsidatingan na ang mga tao sa multi purpose hall kasama ang mga magulang nila, unti unti na sila nabubuo don at kami ding mga council. Ngayon ko na lang nakita ulit yung mga classmate ko na council din and ayon tulong tulong na doon sa mph. Around 9AM nagstart na din ang program at ayon tuloy tuloy naman ang maayos na flow ng program. Pinning part na so ayon nandon kami para magbigay ng mga pins kina Ate Pres and VP Pres. After ng pinning ceremony, recognition part naman for the student council. Nakakashookt kasi nagkaroon ako ng certificate, pin, and medal din grabe hindi ko din inexpect na magkakaroon din ako non hehe. Tapos nakapag handshake pa ako sa VPAA ng school na pinapasukan ko, pati si Dean nakapag handshake din ako sa kanya. Nagspeech din si Mami (Ma'am Adviser) namin sa council and medyo naiyak ako kasi siya yung the best adviser na naranasan ko sa buong experience ko na nag council ako sa buong buhay ko. Napaka-gentle kasi ni Ma'am and mamimiss ko yung mga random mcdo treats ni Ma'am and yung mga chika namin tuwing kumakain sa mcdo :( grabeee huhu.

Next AY Council kasi iba na ang MTSC Adviser and napagdesisyunan na din namin na hindi na sasali sa council. Okay lang naman yung magiging bagong adviser pero pass na talaga ako sa council stuff, mahirap pagsabayin ang studies sa council duties.

So ayon, after the program nag-order si Ate Pres ng food sa Mcdo for our lunch---our last lunch bilang council :( that time, sobrang nahihilo na ako at nagugutom na kaya bumaba ako para bumili ng kwek kwek snacks ko lang kasi sobrang gutom na talaga ako :( e matagal tagal din ang dating ng mcdo kaya ayon. Past 1PM na din kami nakakain kaya nagsabi ako kina Mama na nasa school pa ako at kumakain pa pero uuwi na din maya maya. After non, sumama pa ako sa mga classmate ko sa faculty kasi may ipriprint sila na related pa rin sa council stuff since mga Treasurer and Auditor sila.

Naging instant photographer pa ako ng mga teachers don kasi sinurprise nila si Dean ng ice cream cake kasi parang kakabirthday lang ni Dean non hindi ko matandaan when birthday niya pero tapos na yon. Pinicturan ko sila kasi inutusan ako at ako lang naman walang ginagawa sa aming tatlo HAHAHAHAHA. After non, nagpaalam na din ako na aalis kasi uuwi na talaga ako. Pero girl, bumalik pa ako mph kasi nakalimutan ko yung certificate ko don! Kakaloka, buti nandon pa sina Ate Pres kaya nakuha ko agad.

Pagkarating ko dito sa amin dumaan na muna ako sa SM para bumili ng Coco at Candy Corner kasi wala lang HAHAHAHA. After non umuwi na ako.

Sobrang pagod ko pagkauwi ko gusto ko matulog pero nag-grocery kami nina Mama pagkauwi nila at hinintay sina Ate para makarating sa Walter.

So ayon lang po ang chika ko AHAHAHAHHA. Napaka productive po ng last two days ng June ko po at nagulat pa ako kasi naging busy pa ako sa lagay na yon. XD

Next chika ko naman ay nung nagpunta kami sa SM ni Mama hehe. Next blog na lang yon~

More Than Salvation and Circuitry - What if Weiss' chassis were partially exposed?

(More Than Salvation and Circuitry is a Schneecest AU involving Weiss inhabiting an android body, and Winter being a cybernetics mechanic. Can be read as a stand-alone short.)

It's over the weekend that something happens. An accident in the kitchen. Weiss wants to surprise Winter by making her breakfast and accidentally catches her arm on fire. In the process of putting it out, her synth-skin bubbles and melts and warps and when she puts it out it's hardened where joints are and she can't easily just work around it so she has to use a knife to cut and peel it off. She's had to do something similar before, except this time it's easier to see since she's not replacing her face and scalp to disguise herself.

She panics and wears long sleeves and gloves. She's never worn gloves before, and when Winter wakes up she's immediately suspicious.

Weiss thinks she's in the clear. She only has to get through the rest of Saturday and Sunday and then on Monday she can talk with Penny to print a new skin to use and Winter will never know.

Except.. It's Winter, and she can just tell. She knows Weiss too well to think this is anything but her hiding something. Winter doesn't say anything because she doesn't want Weiss to feel like she's in trouble. It's only concern for her girlfriend. (Plus, the melted chemical smell in the apartment really gave away that there was an accident of some sort).

They go through most of Saturday without either one letting slip any information. Evening rolls around and they're on the couch cuddling like usual while watching a movie.

Weiss isn't paying as close of attention to keeping her sleeve pulled down since the day had gone without any issues, but Winter catches the glint of the screen reflected off of Weiss' wrist. Through the evening, Weiss' sleeve slips to to expose the joint of her wrist and a small portion above it. It takes Weiss a while to realize that Winter had stopped paying attention, but when she does, she can instantly tell there's a flush to her sister's cheeks. It's not visible through standard occular visuals, but her thermal sensors can tell the temperature of Winter's cheeks has risen, as well as her heartbeat. The rest of her body's sensors indicate other reactions in Winter as well.

They both know that each other knows. Winter feels embarrassed that Weiss catches her staring, but it's negligible compared to how much she just wants to push Weiss' sleeve up and remove her gloves to inspect it. Make sure her baby sister is okay. Brush her fingers over the exposed metal, touch all the rounded beveling and smooth polished surfaces. Feel the joints in her wrist and watch them move.

Weiss' worries that her sister will reprimand her for starting a fire in the kitchen fade away when she sees Winter staring like she always wants her to notice her, but at her exposed arm. It's only after a long moment of staring that Winter meets Weiss' occular cameras, the artificial blue faintly glowing in the dim light to illuminate them like the blue of her eyes once did in the sun.

It's embarrassing at first for Weiss to explain what happened. She had already taken the burnt remains of her synth-skin and thrown it out to try and cover up what happened, but Winter reassures her it's okay. She only wants to make sure no real damage was done, though they both know there's more to it. She leads her to her workspace in the apartment, the spare bedroom that had once been planned to be Weiss' bedroom, but when the two shared the master bedroom, it remained Winter's office. Weiss removes the long sleeved shirt and in the light her arm looks even more exposed than it did that morning.

Winter guides her to sit while she puts on her magnifying headset. Up close, she can see the finer details where panels meet and lock together. Where seams should be but fit perfectly so as to appear seamless like one solid piece. With fine cleaning tools she cleans up remnants of soot and melted synth-skin as Weiss can only watch.

It's a strange sensation for Weiss. It's personal. It's loving. It's intimate. The rate at which her systems whir into action make it feel sensual. Winter is spraying the exposed material of her arm with a cleaner of some sort, and the way she wipes at it leaves her chassis looking polished and cleaner than she could ever get it. And Weiss doesn't need to use her extra sensors to tell that it's having an effect on Winter. Her sister's teeth dig into her own lip as she's so focused on cleaning and ensuring her articulations are smooth.

"Win," Weiss whispers.

Winter doesn't respond. She's too focused on removing a miniscule piece of melted synthetic material stuck between Weiss' fingers with the finest tweezers Weiss has ever seen.

"Win?" Weiss tries again.

Winter finally removes the piece and sets her tools down before flipping her magnifiers up and looking up at her sister.

"Do you like the way my arm looks uncovered like this?" Weiss asks with hesitancy in her voice, already knowing the answer. It's obvious from a mile away. "Do you want me to keep it uncovered like this?"

The question hangs in the air between them and Weiss watches three expressions cross her sister's face in succession; confusion, embarrassment at being called out, ending with a not-so-guilty smile laced with barely hidden arousal. "That's up to you," Winter replies. "But if you kept it exposed, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to it. It would simply mean we would need to keep it clean to ensure your joints don't get stiff. More private maintenance time with your sister."

What's not said echoes through them both as they each desperately want to continue with the maintenance session.
