Rabi ul-Awwal is the third month of the Islamic calendar which is followed by Muharram and Safar. In Arabic, the term ‘Rabi’ means spring, and ‘ul-Awwal’ means the first. Thus, Rabi ul-Awwal means ‘the first spring’. But in today's time, the word has no bearing as the Islamic calendar follows the moon hence the month keeps changing. The meaning of the word has reference to figurative spring, meaning happiness.

It is the occurrence of some events which make the month of Rabi ul-Awwal blissful. Although like other months of Islam, there are no special rituals or recommendations for fasting. But Muslims all over the world should perform some acts to make the most of this month. They should perform more salutations upon Allah to seek his blessings. This month allows for learning more about Allah’s life and his deeds which Muslims can do by performing acts of Sunnah and involving them in their daily life. This month is also an opportunity to renew your belief and love for the Prophet Muhammad.

Rabi ul-Awwal Significance

There are many significant events in the life of the prophet that took place in this month. The happening of this month reminds us of the importance of significant events and doing some good deeds. The important events which make the month of rabi ul-Awwal significant for Muslims are:

There are different schools of thought regarding the exact birthdate of Prophet Muhammad. Some Muslims celebrate it on the 12th or while others mark it on the 17th of Rabi' al-Awwal. Even though there are different perspectives regarding the date of birth, the day of birth was Monday, in the month of Rabi al- Awwal in the city of Makkah. Hence, Rabi al-Awwal has great value as it marks the birth of the prophet.

The holy Prophet moved from Makkah to Yathrib along with his companion Abu Bakr and followers in the month of Rabi' al-Awwal. He guided the Yathrib tribe to follow the path of wisdom and Mercy. It is then the city of Yathrib became Madinah al Munawarah, Madinah as it is known today. This migration of the Prophet from Makkah to Yathrib signified a new chapter in the history of Islam and is known as Hijrah.

The Prophet left the earth on the 12th day of Rabi' al-Awwal, Monday this devastated his followers. They refused to believe that the Prophet had passed away and drowned themselves in grief. Abu Bakr then guided the people and reminded them that the Prophet was just a messenger of God. He was not immortal and had to leave them one day. The ultimate power is the God Almighty i.e., Allah and they should all follow him.

Rabi ul-Awwal Traditions

There are different thoughts regarding the celebration of the prophet's birthday. It's always been a debate whether his birthday should be celebrated or not. As some Muslims believe that neither the prophet nor his companion was involved in any celebrations. Therefore, there is no religious obligation of such celebration upon them in Islam. Some Muslims celebrate the event with pomp and show by putting on bright and colored lights on the streets, exchanging sweets with loved ones, and doing charity. The Prophet’s birth event is observed across different parts of the world:

Events like Mehfil-e-Naat and Mehfil-e-Zikr are held by local communities in Pakistan and the surrounding areas. The people gather at mosques to pray to Allah and to hear the religious sermons.

Mawlid or the birthday of the Prophet was earlier celebrated by offering prayers. After which the ruling kin delivers the verses from the holy book of the Quran. Presently, this practice has been changed and the occasion is marked by morning prayers. The procession is carried out from the mosque to the city. Community meals are organized, and friends and family are invited for feasts in Egypt on the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The month of Rabi ul-Awwal is celebrated in Europe and western countries silently and gracefully. Muslim communities of these countries gather and discuss the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Middle East countries

In almost all the Muslim countries in the Middle East, Bara Rabi ul-Awwal is a public holiday. Community gathers are held to remember the Prophet, his life, and his preaching. The event is celebrated by remembering the prophet and following his ideologies. It encourages people to follow them in their day-to-day lives.

Indeed, Rabi ul-Awwal is a blessed month that was chosen by Allah to send his messenger to earth to preach his teachings. During this blessed month, we should indulge in acts to celebrate and emulate the good deed of the Prophet in our lives.

⚡ मुसलमान धर्म के नबी हजरत मुहम्मद जी के जीवन में कहर ही कहर रहा।

उनकी आँखों के सामने उनके तीनों पुत्र चल बसे, आखिर में उनकी भी असहाय पीड़ा से मृत्यु हुई। उनको भी पाप कर्म दण्ड भोगना पड़ा तो सोचिये उनके अनुयायियों का क्या होगा?

क़ुरान सूरत फुर्कान 25 आयत 52 से 59 तक में लिखा है कि गुनाहों को क्षमा करने वाला सिर्फ एक कबीर नामक अल्लाह है उसकी पूजा विधि किसी तत्वदर्शी (बाखबर) से पूछ देखो।

वर्तमान में बाख़बर संत रामपाल जी महाराज जी ही हैं।

⚡ बाख़बर के बिना इबादत करना व्यर्थ है।

हजरत मुहम्मद जी को संतान रूप में खदीजा जी से तीन पुत्र तथा चार बेटियाँ प्राप्त हुई।

तीनों पुत्र कासिम, तय्यब, ताहिर हजरत मुहम्मद जी की आँखों के सामने मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुए। केवल चार लड़कियां शेष रहीं। (पुस्तक ‘जीवनी हजरत मुहम्मद‘ पृष्ठ 64 पर यह विवरण लिखा है)। वर्तमान में बाख़बर संत रामपाल जी महाराज जी ही सच्ची इबादत बताते हैं।

⚡ हज़रत मुहम्मद जी की जीवनी

फरिश्ते जिबराईल ने नबी मुहम्मद जी का सीना चाक किया उसमें शक्ति उड़ेल दी और फिर सील दिया तथा एक खच्चर जैसे जानवर पर बैठा कर ऊपर ले गया। वहाँ नबियों की जमात आई, उनमें हजरत मुसा जी, ईसा जी और इब्राहीम जी आदि भी थे। जिनको हजरत मुहम्मद जी ने नमाज पढाई।

वहाँ हजरत आदम जी भी थे जो कभी हँस रहे थे और कभी रो रहे थे। फरिश्ते जिबराईल ने हजरत मुहम्मद जी को बताया यह बाबा आदम जी हैं। रोने तथा हँसने का कारण था कि दाईं ओर स्वर्ग में नेक संतान थी जो सुखी थी जिसे देख कर बाबा आदम हँस रहे थे तथा बाईं ओर निकम्मी संतान नरक में कष्ट भोग रही थी, जिसे देखकर रो रहे थे। जिसके कारण बाबा आदम ऊपर के लोक में भी पूर्ण सुखी नहीं थे।

⚡ हजरत मुहम्मद जी के अनुसार मुसलमान का अर्थ।

मुसलमान वह पवित्र आत्मा जो किसी को दुःखी न करे, तम्बाखू, शराब व मांस को पीना व खाना तो दूर छुए भी नहीं, ब्याज भी न ले। लेकिन वर्तमान में मुस्लिम भाई उनका अनुकरण नहीं करते।

⚡हजरत मुहम्मद जी शिवजी के लोक से आए हुए गण थे।

⚡जीवनी हजरत मुहम्मद

(सल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम, लेखक - मुहम्मद इनायतुल्लाह सुब्हानी, पृष्ठ नं. 307 में प्रमाण है कि हजरत मुहम्मद जी ने मुसलमानों को खून-खराबा ना करने तथा ब्याज तक भी नहीं लेने का सन्देश दिया है। फिर भी मुस्लमान धर्म में मांस का भक्षण किया जाता है जो कि अल्लाह के विधान के विरुद्ध है।

⚡ हजरत मुहम्मद जी व उनके 1 लाख 80 हजार अनुयायी शाकाहारी थे।

हजरत मुहम्मद जी ने मुस्लमानों को यह आदेश दिया था कि कभी भी "खून खराबे व ब्याज के करीब ना फटकना"

(प्रमाण- पुस्तक जीवनी हजरत मुहम्मद, सल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम, पृष्ठ 307) फिर क्यों मुस्लमान धर्म में निर्दोष जानवरों का क़त्ल व मांस भक्षण किया जाता है ?

यह अल्लाह के विधान के विरुद्ध है।

⚡ हजरत मुहम्मद जी ने भी पाप कर्म दंड झेला

पुस्तक- जीवनी हजरत मुहम्मद (सल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम के पृष्ठ 46, 51-52, 64, 307-315) में प्रमाण है कि-

हजरत मुहम्मद जी ने बचपन में यतीमी का दुःख देखा। उनके तीनों पुत्रों की मृत्यु हो गई तथा स्वयं हजरत मुहम्मद जी की भी 63 वर्ष की उम्र में असहाय बीमारी से तड़फ तड़फ कर मृत्यु हुई।

पाप कर्म दंड तो सिर्फ अल्लाह कबीर की सच्ची इबादत करने से ही समाप्त हो सकतें है।

⚡ सच्ची इबादत की जानकारी ना होने की वजह से हजरत मुहम्मद जी ने जीवन भर बहुत पीड़ा सही

पुस्तक - जीवनी हजरत मुहम्मद (सल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम पृष्ठ 64, 307 से 315) के अनुसार हज़रत मुहम्मद जी के तीनों पुत्र उनकी आँखों के सामने मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुए। उन्होंने 63 वर्ष की आयु में सख्त बीमार होने के चलते असहनीय पीड़ा में प्राण त्याग दिए।

सच्ची इबादत केवल बाख़बर संत रामपाल जी महाराज जी ही बताते हैं जिससे पाप रूपी कांटे भी निकल जाते हैं व मोक्ष प्राप्ति होती है।

⚡ कुरान शरीफ में मांस खाने का संकेत अल्लाह का नहीं है

वास्तव में हजरत मुहम्मद जी को एक जिबराईल नामक फरिश्ते ने गला घोंट-घोंट कर जबरदस्ती डरा धमका कर कुरान शरीफ का ज्ञान लिखवाया था, अपने ही बनाये जीवों को मार कर खाने का आदेश कभी अल्लाह का नहीं हो सकता। (प्रमाण- पुस्तक जीवनी हजरत मुहम्मद, सल्लाहु अलैहि वसल्लम, पृष्ठ 307-315)

⚡ हजरत मुहम्मद तथा उनके एक लाख अस्सी हजार अनुयाईयों ने कभी मांस-शराब, तम्बाखू सेवन नहीं किया और न ही ऐसा करने का आदेश दिया।

लेकिन वर्तमान में शराब, तम्बाखू का प्रयोग बहुत जोर शोर से हो रहा है और मुसलमान समाज में मांस तो आम बात हो गई।

⚡ हजरत मुहम्मद जी को जिबराईल नामक फ़रिश्ते ने गला घोंट घोंट कर जबरदस्ती डरा धमका कर कुरान शरीफ का ज्ञान तथा नमाज आदि बताई। फिर भी हजरत मुहम्मद जी की आंखों के सामने उनके तीनों पुत्र मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुए।

कुरान के अनुसार भक्ति करते हुए भी हज़रत मुहम्मद जी के जीवन में कहर ही कहर रहा।

⚡ हजरत मुहम्मद जी का रुझान जन्म से लेकर मृत्यु तक अध्यात्मिक रहा। बहुत से नियम बनाए। कभी मांस खाना तो दूर छुआ तक नहीं। ब्याज का पैसा नहीं लेते थे। हुक्का और तंबाकू को हाथ तक नहीं लगाते थे ऐसे थे मोहम्मद पीर।

⚡ हज़रत मुहम्मद जी का जीवन

हजरत मुहम्मद जी 63 वर्ष की आयु में दो दिन असहाय पीड़ा के कारण दर्द से बेहाल होकर मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुए। जिस पिता के सामने तीनों पुत्र मृत्यु को प्राप्त हो जाऐं, उस पिता को आजीवन सुख नहीं होता।

⚡ हज़रत मुहम्मद जी की जीवनी

फिर सातवें आसमान पर गए। पर्दे के पीछे से आवाज आई की प्रति दिन पचास नमाज किया करें। वहाँ से पचास नमाजों से कम करवाकर केवल पाँच नमाज ही अल्लाह से प्राप्त करके नबी मुहम्मद वापिस आ गए।
