SIDEQUEST QUEST
Solution Nine has been solved!
Still going with Viper for this one, if only because I imagined Tahri coming here straight from Yyasulani. And yes, I'll keep calling it Yyasulani because I like how it sounds, and it's quicker to type than "Heritage Found".
Man, Alexandria keeps getting more and more dystopian the more I learn about it. Can't wait to find out what contact with the people of the Source who aren't stranded and forced to assimilate will do to it.
(Not So) Fun Facts™:
Despite only really being available to the military sentries, the flying bikes they use are still being advertised.
True Vue has a rampant crime problem, with shakedowns and extortion being commonplace.
The practice of erasing the memories of the dead from the living doesn't actually seem to work all that well in regards to "sparing people pain" as there are multiple instances of people still feeling grief and becoming depressed as a result of losing someone, they just can't figure out why they are feeling bad. (Which seems WAY WORSE to me.)
Hunters are feared and respected by the criminal elements of the city, portrayed as almost superhuman badasses. With the name and the descriptions, it reminds me of RWBY. And when you think about it, what is the Viper's Twinfangs if not a prime RWBY weapon?

Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp: Master the Art of Clean, Scalable Frontend Development
If you've been navigating the world of frontend development, you already know the challenges that come with creating scalable and maintainable applications. It’s not just about making things look great; it’s about ensuring your code is efficient, reusable, and adaptable to growth and changes. This is exactly where a Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp can make all the difference, helping you unlock the full potential of your frontend skills by teaching you solid principles and proven design patterns.
Why Frontend Architecture Matters
Frontend architecture is like the blueprint of a building; it defines the structure, organization, and workflow of your code. Without a well-thought-out architecture, applications can become a mess of spaghetti code, making it nearly impossible to update, debug, or expand. A Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp teaches developers to structure their projects in a way that fosters long-term success.
Imagine a single-page application (SPA) that needs updates. With poor architecture, even a small change can impact the entire application, leading to frustrating bugs and inconsistencies. A sound architecture framework, however, keeps everything organized, minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency.
What You’ll Learn in a Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp
This bootcamp dives deep into the key concepts and patterns used by top developers. You’ll gain expertise in:
Component-Based ArchitectureMost modern frameworks, like React and Vue, rely on component-based architecture. Breaking down your application into reusable components allows you to design individual pieces that can be used across your app. By learning this approach, you’ll be able to build complex interfaces in a way that’s efficient and consistent.
Design Patterns for the FrontendPatterns like Model-View-Controller (MVC), Flux, Redux, and even Micro Frontends will be covered. These design patterns provide you with a roadmap to address common development problems. For example, Redux helps manage state effectively in larger applications, preventing data inconsistencies and enabling easy debugging.
Responsive and Adaptive DesignUsers access applications from a wide array of devices and screen sizes. Knowing how to create responsive and adaptive designs is crucial for a seamless user experience. Through the Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp, you’ll learn best practices for building interfaces that look and perform well across all devices.
Code-Splitting and Lazy LoadingFast load times are a major factor in user experience and SEO ranking. This bootcamp emphasizes techniques like code-splitting and lazy loading, which help to load only the necessary parts of your application initially, improving performance. Understanding these strategies ensures you create fast, efficient applications that users love.
Testing and Quality AssuranceA strong frontend developer understands the importance of testing. This bootcamp covers testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress, guiding you through unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing. Testing ensures your code works as expected and minimizes the risk of bugs, leading to a more reliable application.
Dependency ManagementManaging dependencies can be tricky. The bootcamp will guide you on when to add dependencies and how to manage them responsibly, ensuring your project remains lightweight and manageable.
Essential Frontend Patterns Covered
Patterns are essential to building robust frontend architectures, and this bootcamp offers practical insights into some of the most effective:
Singleton Pattern: For instances where you need a class to have only one instance. This is often used in state management libraries.
Observer Pattern: This is vital for handling event-driven programming where multiple components depend on shared data.
Factory Pattern: Simplifies creating instances, especially when working with dynamic content and different types of components.
Strategy Pattern: Used for handling complex conditional logic, making your code cleaner and more maintainable.
Learning these patterns equips you with the tools to create a scalable and robust frontend application.
Benefits of a Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp
Investing in a Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp delivers a ton of value:
Efficiency: With a strong architectural foundation, developers can reduce redundancy and avoid common coding pitfalls.
Better Team Collaboration: Having a clear architecture means that team members can easily pick up where others left off, making collaborative projects smoother and more efficient.
Improved Debugging: A well-organized frontend structure makes it easier to locate and fix bugs, saving time and effort in the long run.
Future-Proofing: As the app grows, a strong foundation ensures you can continue building on top of existing code without needing to start from scratch.
Who Should Enroll in a Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp?
This bootcamp is designed for frontend developers looking to level up their skills, especially those who want to transition from junior to senior roles. If you’re aiming to build applications that are scalable, maintainable, and efficient, this bootcamp will guide you through the strategies and tools needed to do just that.
It’s also ideal for backend developers moving into frontend work or full-stack developers who want to deepen their frontend knowledge. No matter your level, the Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp is an invaluable step toward mastering frontend development.
Practical Applications
The Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp isn’t just theoretical; it’s packed with real-world examples and projects. You’ll work on projects that simulate real challenges, allowing you to:
Build SPAs with React or Vue.
Implement state management using Redux or Vuex.
Practice lazy loading for optimized performance.
Develop component libraries to speed up your development process in future projects.
These hands-on experiences will enable you to apply the concepts immediately, reinforcing your learning and building confidence in your new skills.
How Frontend Architecture and Patterns Boost Your Career
In today’s tech landscape, companies are looking for frontend engineers who can think strategically, design thoughtfully, and implement effectively. A strong command of frontend architecture and design patterns can set you apart from other developers, making you an attractive candidate for high-profile projects and top tech companies. Additionally, these skills allow you to adapt quickly to new projects, making you a valuable asset in any team.
Choosing the Right Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp
Not all bootcamps are created equal. When choosing a Frontend Architecture and Patterns Bootcamp, look for:
Experienced Instructors: Ensure the instructors have real-world experience, especially with large-scale applications.
Updated Curriculum: The frontend landscape evolves quickly. Find a bootcamp that covers the latest tools, frameworks, and practices.
Practical Projects: A good bootcamp includes hands-on projects that let you apply what you’ve learned, as this is the best way to reinforce concepts.
Investing in a bootcamp that meets these criteria will ensure you gain relevant, applicable knowledge and skills.

It seems similar to existing NetLogo and symbolic GAI research stuff, but I want to personalize specific simulation steps / instances in a overtly transparent and open manner...
Like, let's imagine I generate lively / immersive TS2-like stories with MegaOCEAN NPCs, as to eventually import into QGIS+OSM or whatever game engine I so choose later... (I really mean it such to help goal manifestation in the data visualizations manner, but observing and documenting life scripts for scientific analysis would be fine.)
I really do think of this as a GLOSS data-respecting alternative to the ChatGPT / AutoGPT / LLM-based game dev stuff that Big Tech pushes onto us. Self-hosted, lightweight on the REPL, easy-to-compute / explain & useful for spiritually-minded individuals seeking historical validation or mindful whatever. (Sure does my blend of Geo-Syndicalism shine with my statements here...)

Choosing the Right Headless CMS: Why Strapi Leads the Pack
Headless CMSs are on the rise due to their flexibility to provide businesses with an ecosystem where the backend and front-end teams can independently work while seamlessly exchanging data. In general, even if there are some issues in the backend, the front end remains unaffected, thanks decoupling nature of the headless systems.
In today’s online marketplace, with several digital channels existing beyond just smartphones and laptops, headless CMSs started gaining traction due to their versatile structure. Data reusability is the key factor contributing to their popularity, allowing businesses to leverage their data across multiple channels efficiently.
Furthermore, the flexibility to select different front-end technologies is a notable benefit they offer. It is worth mentioning that nearly all headless solutions provide support for a wide range of front-end technologies.
Traditional (or monolithic) structures provide an inclusive environment well-suited for tasks such as publishing blogs, managing website data, and more. But what they lack is the reusability of the content.
This article explores one of the well-known headless CMS platforms, Strapi, and its key features for developers and users. Additionally, we will discuss the compatible front-end technologies that can be seamlessly integrated with Strapi.
What is Strapi — An Overview

There’s lots of religions out there, and it’s a lucky thing for humanity that not all of them are as violently oppositional as car religions. Whether it’s Dodge (Dodge makes a better car than Chevy), Chevy (Chevy makes a better car than Dodge), or Ford (Ford makes a car), you’re likely to find family dinners split apart by vicious arguments. And it’s not just domestics - this zealotry exists in the imports, as well.
Now, it’s complicated enough in today’s modern auto market, where shrinking margins and a dwindling customer base mean that brands have to amalgamate or cooperate on new platform designs in order to survive. This constantly-shifting series of alliances means that brand adherents may have to change their mind about, say, Toyota, when they decide to start giving money to Subaru in return for agreeing to keeping the latter’s engineers far, far away from their offices.
This state of affairs is confusing for all involved, and pollutes the straightforward intellectual purity that we used to have. Practically the only beneficiaries are senior parts-store employees, who delight in telling shocked pensioners that the engine in their Saturn Vue was built by Honda, and chronic message-board addicts, who have memorized multiple brands’ microfiche in order to identify engine-swap opportunities based on shared philosophical ancestries harkening back to the 1950s. If you go over to the Jeep forums, for instance, there’s a guy there who will tell you about the single engineer who once spent a lunch hour interviewing at Mitsubishi while roaming on psilocybin and accidentally reverse-incepted the concept of the seven-bolt crank into their senior product development staff. This, it is then explained in the voice of a rational expert, means that you can sometimes use the balance shafts from a 4G63 on a Willys Hurricane engine if your machinist is tough enough.
As things go on, amalgamation in the auto industry will only grow further. It’s expensive to develop a new platform, and few if any automakers are able to wizard-magic a ground-up inline-eight-cylinder into existence. For this reason, I recommend that all auto enthusiasts abandon their previous per-brand loyalties, and instead join my movement to become extremely violent about the death of the manual transmission. We’ll clutch the power yet, my friends.

A Font-Like SVG Icon System for Vue
Managing a custom collection of icons in a Vue app can be challenging at times. An icon font is easy to use, but for customization, you have to rely on third-party font generators, and merge conflicts can be painful to resolve since fonts are binary files.
Using SVG files instead can eliminate those pain points, but how can we ensure they’re just as easy to use while also making it easy to add or remove icons?
Here is what my ideal icon system looks like:
To add icons, you just drop them into a designated icons folder. If you no longer need an icon, you simply delete it.
To use the rocket.svg icon in a template, the syntax is as simple as <svg-icon icon="rocket" />.
The icons can be scaled and colored using the CSS font-size and color properties (just like an icon font).
If multiple instances of the same icon appear on the page, the SVG code is not duplicated each time.
No webpack config editing is required.
This is what we will build by writing two small, single-file components. There are a few specific requirements for this implementation, though I’m sure many of you wizards out there could rework this system for other frameworks and build tools:
webpack: If you used the Vue CLI to scaffold your app, then you’re already using webpack.
svg-inline-loader: This allows us to load all of our SVG code and clean up portions we do not want. Go ahead and run npm install svg-inline-loader --save-dev from the terminal to get started.
The SVG sprite component
To meet our requirement of not repeating SVG code for each instance of an icon on the page, we need to build an SVG “sprite.” If you haven’t heard of an SVG sprite before, think of it as a hidden SVG that houses other SVGs. Anywhere we need to display an icon, we can copy it out of the sprite by referencing the id of the icon inside a <use> tag like this:
<svg><use xlink:href="#rocket" /></svg>
That little bit of code is essentially how our <SvgIcon> component will work, but let’s go ahead create the <SvgSprite> component first. Here is the entire SvgSprite.vue file; some of it may seem daunting at first, but I will break it all down.
<!-- SvgSprite.vue --> <template> <svg width="0" height="0" style="display: none;" v-html="$options.svgSprite" /> </template> <script> const svgContext = require.context( '!svg-inline-loader?' + 'removeTags=true' + // remove title tags, etc. '&removeSVGTagAttrs=true' + // enable removing attributes '&removingTagAttrs=fill' + // remove fill attributes '!@/assets/icons', // search this directory true, // search subdirectories /\w+\.svg$/i // only include SVG files ) const symbols = svgContext.keys().map(path => { // get SVG file content const content = svgContext(path) // extract icon id from filename const id = path.replace(/^\.\/(.*)\.\w+$/, '$1') // replace svg tags with symbol tags and id attribute return content.replace('<svg', `<symbol id="${id}"`).replace('svg>', 'symbol>') }) export default { name: 'SvgSprite', svgSprite: symbols.join('\n'), // concatenate all symbols into $options.svgSprite } </script>
In the template, our lone <svg> element has its content bound to $options.svgSprite. In case you’re unfamiliar with $options it contains properties that are directly attached to our Vue component. We could have attached svgSprite to our component’s data, but we don’t really need Vue to set up reactivity for this since our SVG loader is only going to run when our app builds.
In our script, we use require.context to retrieve all of our SVG files and clean them up while we’re at it. We invoke svg-inline-loader and pass it several parameters using syntax that is very similar to query string parameters. I’ve broken these up into multiple lines to make them easier to understand.
const svgContext = require.context( '!svg-inline-loader?' + 'removeTags=true' + // remove title tags, etc. '&removeSVGTagAttrs=true' + // enable removing attributes '&removingTagAttrs=fill' + // remove fill attributes '!@/assets/icons', // search this directory true, // search subdirectories /\w+\.svg$/i // only include SVG files )
What we’re basically doing here is cleaning up the SVG files that live in a specific directory (/assets/icons) so that they’re in good shape to use anywhere we need them.
The removeTags parameter strips out tags that we do not need for our icons, such as title and style. We especially want to remove title tags since those can cause unwanted tooltips. If you would like to preserve any hard-coded styling in your icons, then add removingTags=title as an additional parameter so that only title tags are removed.
We also tell our loader to remove fill attributes, so that we can set our own fill colors with CSS later. It’s possible you will want to retain your fill colors. If that’s the case, then simply remove the removeSVGTagAttrs and removingTagAttrs parameters.
The last loader parameter is the path to our SVG icon folder. We then provide require.context with two more parameters so that it searches subdirectories and only loads SVG files.
In order to nest all of our SVG elements inside our SVG sprite, we have to convert them from <svg> elements into SVG <symbol> elements. This is as simple as changing the tag and giving each one a unique id, which we extract from the filename.
const symbols = svgContext.keys().map(path => { // extract icon id from filename const id = path.replace(/^\.\/(.*)\.\w+$/, '$1') // get SVG file content const content = svgContext(path) // replace svg tags with symbol tags and id attribute return content.replace('<svg', `<symbol id="${id}"`).replace('svg>', 'symbol>') })
What do we do with this <SvgSprite> component? We place it on our page before any icons that depend on it. I recommend adding it to the top of the App.vue file.
<!-- App.vue --> <template> <div id="app"> <svg-sprite /> <!-- ... -->
The icon component
Now let’s build the SvgIcon.vue component.
<!-- SvgIcon.vue --> <template> <svg class="icon" :class="{ 'icon-spin': spin }"> <use :xlink:href="`#${icon}`" /> </svg> </template> <script> export default { name: 'SvgIcon', props: { icon: { type: String, required: true, }, spin: { type: Boolean, default: false, }, }, } </script> <style> svg.icon { fill: currentColor; height: 1em; margin-bottom: 0.125em; vertical-align: middle; width: 1em; } svg.icon-spin { animation: icon-spin 2s infinite linear; } @keyframes icon-spin { from { transform: rotate(0deg); } to { transform: rotate(359deg); } } </style>
This component is much simpler. As previously mentioned, we leverage the <use> tag to reference an id inside our sprite. That id comes from our component’s icon prop.
I’ve added a spin prop in there that toggles an .icon-spin class as an optional bit of animation, should we ever need. This could, for example, be useful for a loading spinner icon.
<svg-icon v-if="isLoading" icon="spinner" spin />
Depending on your needs, you may want to add additional props, such as rotate or flip. You could simply add the classes directly to the component without using props if you’d like.
Most of our component’s content is CSS. Other than the spinning animation, most of this is used to make our SVG icon act more like an icon font¹. To align the icons to the text baseline, I’ve found that applying vertical-align: middle, along with a bottom margin of 0.125em, works for most cases. We also set the fill attribute value to currentColor, which allows us to color the icon just like text.
<p style="font-size: 2em; color: red;"> <svg-icon icon="exclamation-circle" /><!-- This icon will be 2em and red. --> Error! </p>
That’s it! If you want to use the icon component anywhere in your app without having to import it into every component that needs it, be sure to register the component in your main.js file:
// main.js import Vue from 'vue' import SvgIcon from '@/components/SvgIcon.vue' Vue.component('svg-icon', SvgIcon) // ...
Final thoughts
Here are a few ideas for improvements, which I intentionally left out to keep this solution approachable:
Scale icons that have non-square dimensions to maintain their proportions
Inject the SVG sprite into the page without needing an additional component.
Make it work with vite, which is a new, fast (and webpack-free) build tool from Vue creator Evan You.
Leverage the Vue 3 Composition API.
If you want to quickly take these components for a spin, I’ve created a demo app based on the default vue-cli template. I hope this helps you develop an implementation that fits your app’s needs!
¹ If you’re wondering why we’re using SVG when we want it to behave like an icon font, then check out the classic post that pits the two against one another.

Introduction to Web Components
When you begin your journey as a developer, you learn that you should reuse code as much as possible. For front-end development, though, it is not so easy. When you have to create custom markup structures, they end up in being complex in style and script and using them multiple times can turn your page into a mess. Web Components, that are called the building blocks of web applications, promise to solve such problems.
Web components are a set of web platform APIs that allow us to create custom, reusable and encapsulated HTML tags for web pages and web apps. Such custom components and widgets build on the established standards, can work across various browsers, and can be used with any JavaScript library or framework that works with HTML.
Web components specifications
Web components incorporate four (in certain classifications, three) main technologies that can be used together to create versatile custom elements with encapsulated and reusable functionality:
Custom Elements
Custom elements are in essence fully-valid HTML elements, just like <div>, or <article>, but they have custom templates, behaviors and tag names (e.g. <one-dialog>) made with JavaScript APIs. They would always have a hyphen in their name, like <calendar-slider> and browser vendors have committed to create no new built-in elements containing a dash in their names to prevent conflicts. They can be used out-of-the-box with today’s most popular frameworks, including Angular, React, Vue, etc. with minimal effort. Custom elements contain their own semantics, behaviors, markup that can be checked in the HTML Living Standard specification.
Example:
class ComponentExample extends HTMLElement { connectedCallback() { this.innerHTML = `<h1>Hello world</h1>`; } }customElements.define(‘component-example’, ComponentExample);
As you can see, custom elements (in this case, <component-example>) must in some way extend an HTMLElement in order to be registered with the browser.
Shadow DOM
The shadow DOM is an encapsulated version of the DOM. It isolates DOM fragments from one another, including anything that could be used as a CSS selector and the corresponding styles, in a somewhat similar to <iframe> manner. At the same time, when we create a shadow root, we still have total control over that part of our page, but scoped to a context. It is critically important as it ensures that a component will work in any environment even if the page has other CSS or JavaScript. More information on how to use encapsulated style and markup in web components can be found in the shadow DOM specification.
Example:
To attach a shadow root, we should run something like:
const shadowRoot = document.getElementById(‘shadow’).attachShadow({ mode: ‘open’ });shadowRoot.innerHTML = ' <style> button { color: purple; } </style> <button id=”button”>Switch to use the CSS color purple <slot></slot></button>';
HTML Template
The HTML <template> element allows us to stamp out reusable templates of code inside a normal HTML flow that is not immediately rendered, but can be used at a later time when called upon. You can write a template of any shape or structure that could be created at a later time. To learn how to declare fragments of markup that go unused at page load, but can be instantiated later on at runtime you can check the HTML template element specification.
Example:
<template id=”movie-template”> <ul id=”movies”><li> <span class=”name”></span> — <span class=”year”></span> — <span class=”director”></span> </li></ul> </template>
The example above doesn’t render any content until a script has consumes the template, instantiates the code and tells the browser what to do with it.
ES Modules
ES Modules is the recent ECMAScript standard for working with modules. The standardization of a module system for browsers completed with ES6 and browsers started implementing it, so that now ES Modules are supported in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox (since version 60). Modules as collections of smaller components that can be reused in our application, let developers encapsulate all kinds of functionality, and expose this functionality to other JavaScript files, as libraries. The process of including JS documents in a standards based, modular, performant way is defined in the ES Modules specification.
Example:
// From component folder import { Users } from ‘../components/users.js’; import { Issues } from ‘../components/issues.js’;class Dashboard { loadDashboard(){ // Create new instances const users = new Users(); const issues = new Issues(); console.log(‘Dashboard component is loaded’); } }export { Dashboard }
Benefits of web components
Web Components provide multiple benefits for developers and business.
Benefits for code:
Reusability: Once created, web components can be imported, used and reused in applications;
Readability: Compartmentalized, reusable code reduces the application size, simplified debugging and makes it more readable;
Declaration: You can more easily declare components on your page;
Composability: Shadow DOM allows composing applications with smaller chunks of code;
Extensibility: Custom elements API can extend browser elements or custom web components;
Scoping: Shadow DOM ensures DOM and CSS scoping so that styles don’t leak out and component DOM is local;
Interoperability: Native web components are interoperable at the browsers lowest (DOM) level.
Benefits for project
Brand consistency: Having your front-end application code split up into component libraries or even design systems can ensure brand consistency through the company. It also provides an additional benefit of the ability to be used by all teams, regardless of tech stack;
Cost-efficiency: Developers will have the ability to focus solely on making native reusable components, similar to LEGOs, and use these blocks in other applications across teams, which in the end saves money;
Faster deployments: Having ready-made code blocks, developers will be able to build and deploy applications more quickly. This leads to less time devoted to developing new features;
Quality improvement: As a by-product of reusing and reviewing the same code multiple times, the overall quality will improve in the course of time.
How to use web components?
To use a custom element you can simply import it and use the new tags in an HTML document. The ways to install custom elements, though can vary. Most elements today can be installed with NPM, but it is recommended to look at the README for the commands to install the specific element. NPM also handles installing the components’ dependencies. For more information on NPM, see npmjs.com.
Generally speaking, using a custom element is no different to using a <div> or any other element. Instances can be declared on the page, created dynamically in JavaScript, event listeners can be attached, and so on.
Libraries for building web components
Many libraries already exist that make it easier to build web components, including the following that we find useful:
Polymer provides a set of features for creating custom elements.
Slim.js provides data-binding and extended capabilities for components, using es6 native class inheritance.
Stencil generates standards-compliant web components.
Hybrids is a UI library for creating Web Components.
Angular provides the createCustomElement() function for converting an Angular component, together with its dependencies, to a custom element.
HTML and DOM specs already add features to support web components, letting web developers easily extend HTML with new elements with encapsulated styling and custom behavior. This proves that web components are already our present and it is time we start using them in applications.

10 Excellent Vue Development Tools That Will Make Your Life Easier
Nowadays, developers have a variety of development tools to choose from. For instance, Vue.js developers have many options. With Vue.js, you can build single-paged applications as well as multi-page ones or create apps on the basis of user interfaces.
The introduction of the Vue language began with Vue’s framework. In addition to multiple tools, technologies, editing tools, and styles guides, Vue also offers a number of other services.
In a new blog, we’re exploring the development tools you’ll want to know about and their capabilities to better meet your app development needs. It’s up to you to read. There are many more insightful ideas you can use to improve your developing apps.
vue-cli
Among the best developer tools, Vue CLI takes the top slot. Utilizing Vue without CLI would be similar to having chocolate without peanut butter. For all its flaws, not to mention the fact that you can no longer add new functionalities to it.
That’s in addition to tools that make web development a more user-friendly experience. One can take advantage of Babel, ESLint, TypeScript, PostCSS, PWA, Unit Testing, and End-to-end Testing in the Vue CLI environment. This all is enhanced by the ability to combine any plugin of your choosing with the CLI.
The interest here is that Vue CLI doesn’t require ejecting. In addition, Vue CLI provides more scope for customization than do other frameworks. Regarding Vue CLI, we will find it relatively easy to start a project and manage it smoothly with Vue CLI’s graphical UI.
Bit for Vue
The next Vue.js developer tool is Bit. If you’re looking for the next top-quality library for all sorts of elements, that is all you need to consider. With this change, developers will no longer complain about not having the opportunity to share and collaborate on UI components.
This Bit.dev platform simplifies hosting, managing, and sharing components. Think of the component library as a CD music album. By leveraging Bit’s CLI tool, Bit.dev lets you push the independent components from any local project to the Bit.dev collection.
Each component has its dependencies tracked, and all shared components are reusable. Tests should be conducted frequently and isolated environments should be used.
Nuxt.js
One of the most popular Vue components is Nuxt.js, a component that helps you create performance-optimized user interfaces and single-page apps. It allows server-side rendering (SSR) of Vue.js applications.
With more than 50 modules available, server-rendered applications can be created, as well as single-page apps and Progressive Web Applications (PWA), etc. Basically, it works as a static site creator. It speeds up the application development process.
Vuex
Although there are plenty of Vue developers who are not managing state as well as they should be, we’ve found an awesome hire Vue developers tool, called Vuex, which helps manage state as it needs to be done. Vuex has other cool features like state snapshot export and zero-config time-travel debugging.
Vuetify
Among the Vue.js devtools, Vuetify is one of the most popular ones, offering a large selection of manually crafted UI components based on Material Design. Creating a successful app is also important.
Veutify can be used to develop SSR apps, SPAs, mobile apps, and even progressive web apps. It offers free and premium themes, both of which can be customized.
Vue Apollo
Vue Apollo is a powerful and flexible tool that utilizes your favorite API’s data. You can access whichever data you require to build a project or service. Apollo assists the use of GraphQL through a declarative mode, as well as supporting server-side rendering.
Vue Router
The official router for the Vue framework, Vue routers allow you to have multiple types of pages in one application that each reside on a separate route.
One of the overlooked features of Vue routers is that it has additional features and functions that some users aren’t aware of. Some of the core features include named routes, dynamic matching routes, named views and programmatic navigation.
It has many slewed tools for creating reusable web components; as such, routing is one of the most effective. Using Vue routing, you will be able to go from page to page without having to reload the page in order to see the new destination.
VuePress
When VuePress was created, it was known as a tool for creating technical documentation, and while this still applies today, VuePress has transformed into something even bigger- one of the main components of the Vue ecosystem, alongside other components such as the library, framework, and UI system. More on down the road, after a few years had gone by, it was determined to be an acceptable CMS.
In general, VuePress is divided into two parts: a simple static site generator with Vue theming and a plugin API, and a default theme designed to publish technical documentation.
Documentation was intended for Vue’s own subprojects. Since its first edition, VuePress has been providing exceptional blogging features and has even included a plugin system.
In fact, VuePress allows you to incorporate Vue Components or codes without the requirement to use markdown files. The application even allows you to create custom themes or use one of the many pre-built options available from the community.
Vue.js Guide
Based on its title, this guide looks to be a comprehensive reference on how to work with Vue.js. The Official Vue.js Guide is quite helpful to those just starting out as a Vue.js developer.
Within this lengthy guide format, you will find information about the Vue.js API, examples of official Vue style codes, as well as details about several Vue-related projects.
