Someone needs to write a novel length fanfic replacing A Sky Beyond the Storm where my babies Helene and Avitas get the HEA they so deserve.

Maybe then I'll be able to get over the reading slump that book has put me in.

I finished A Sky Beyond the Storm the other night and had to write this short fic set a few months after the end of the book. (That’s pretty much the only type of fic I can write lol)

It’s in Helene’s pov and is inspired from her final chapter in the book. Which smacked me in the face, in a good way.

So I just finished A Sky beyond the Storm and I am crying my damn eyes out. Ik An Ember in the ashes gets mixed reviews and ngl the first 2 books weren’t the best but seriously this is one of the best books I’ve ever read so read it for the last one cause the feels r real.

Now I am leaving to suffer through my painful book hangover...
