I'll start. One of my favorite gacha characters is getting her first rerun soon and I'm planning to roll for extra copies of her (f2p so I'm gonna have to get lucky... I'm almost done rereading a favorite VN and might reread its sequel next, or I might play a spinoff game for the first time. When I am able to take pictures again I am. showing you all art. and also talking about Rongo Swirll and grief for someone you never got to say a proper goodbye to. to someone you held dear. To never be able to properly express it not because of any outwards limitations but because of his lack of language and knowledge for those kinds of feelings. He utilizes compartmentalization except he never takes it off of the shelf. He can't survive like this; it'll tear him apart inside out and it'll only hurt so much more.

More Pokémon Horizons Episode 25 spoilers under the cut!

As much as I laughed from how this played out like an unintentionally comedic moment---can I mention how much this actually does to separate Amethio from the rest of the Explorers; how he's actually honorable and respects Friede as a rival of sorts?

The rest of the Explorers tend to use underhanded tricks to get what they want (Spinel brainwashing Liko and attempting to wipe her memory, Onyx and Sango trying to overwhelm the others against direct orders whilst causing the destruction of everything else around them), but Amethio has been unique in how he's regarded as 'by the books' (by Friede) and constantly tries to be on equal footing with his opponent- even if it means putting himself at the disadvantage when he has more resources to utilize.

He could've very easily overwhelmed Friede by having both of his mons attack at once (given how Captain Pikachu hadn't arrived yet)---and yet he- doesn't. Which is just so interesting to me as he's meant to have a similar goal as the rest of the Explorers (which is to retrieve the pendant/Terapagos by any means necessary).

So in this case, was it really a matter of defeating Friede so that he could easily confront Liko afterwards,,, or,,,,, was he trying to prove himself somehow? 👀✨✨✨

ok bear with me here a lot of this is gonna sounds like total nonsense. in my defense i have no defense

from the original source that i know far less about: the monkeys are from a channel called max design pro. basically its little youtube shorts animations that eventually ended up featuring that one chicken nugget with the roblox man face and now thats a main character of the channel iirc. its your usual youtube shorts kid-friendly stuff to my knowledge but afaik its actually pretty tame and pg stuff in comparison? which is a nice change of pace tbh. feels less outwardly content-farmy than most channels like it. but yeah the nkotr post is 3 monkeys (probably based on max specifically bc of how hes The One Everypony Knows) and the nugget

from how i learned it even existed which maybe isnt relevant to the specific post you reblogged: an ironic fnf song/small mod was made using max (main monkey from max design pro) and the nugget that was meant to parody another funkin thing called jeffys endless aethos (which is a far longer and worse* story for a far later time)

theres also been a trend going around where creators will put really fuckin good lyrics into their fnf songs Just Because. thought to be started by aethos, but rumors say that it was actually silly billy from the hit single real mod that started it. as in "aethos had lyrics because of a leak for hit single real and got rushed out to beat it to the punch" started it

naturally this meant that the max design pro song in question (named twiddlefinger) (certified good shit unironically) got lyrics mainly to riff on aethos. the song promptly got popular as hell and ended up spawning an unironic max pro design fanbase in the process

and when i say popular i mean POPULAR. as in CREATOR OF THE MAX DESIGN PRO SERIES NOW FREQUENTLY REFERENCES IT popular. as in TWIDDLEFINGER IS MDP CANON popular. which is fucking baffling to me??????
