Kaeya, cavalry captain of Mondstadt! A pleasure to meet you all~ 23, he/him.
Tumblr media
This picture isn't fully accurate now, but Borealis is still with me! Along with his other friends who keep tailing us around, haha.
Kaeya’s pokemon
Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Lynette. 21 and she/her only.
Kaeya has let me borrow his... odd mechanism when I please. If you are interested in magic, or my brothers… this is the wrong time and place for that. But if you wish to speak with me... just get to the point.
If any of you see my good friend Aether, or our other companions, Alhaitham or Furina, please do let us know. We’re a bit worried for them.

//Universe shared with - @fallenboughtkeeper (on the genshin side) - @blueberry-gills - non emo au of @arven-x-drayster-4ever (both on the pokemon side)
please go through ‘read more’ before interacting!
Heyaaa!! It’s @saywha413, mod of @arven-x-drayster-4ever, @ask-sarah-and-co, and all the other blogs in that universe!
I love Kaeya genshin sm and I thought a faller blog would be silly…
since this is a separate universe from my main one, I’d be alright with him being in like other universes if that makes sense? but uh. hmu if you want to do like a rp thread or join universes or smth.
Note relating to the actual genshin part. The only other faller chars planned (as of rn) are the ones he listed. Most other chars will be back on Teyvat- so in @/fallernboughtkeeper’s side.
finally. There will be kaether (kaeya/aether) bc I am crazy abt them. Aether is 20 (under legal drinking age of 21). I am also highly considering furina/lynette and kaeya/aether/alhaitham but we’ll see lmao

So i have been scrolling trough your blog for a while now, enjoying the lore and the many beautiful characters and designs. And i keep coming back to your blogs header image, the striking green hair, beautiful lighting, it is amazing, i haven't been able to find the full image though! i would love to see it and hear more about the character! love the design!
Aww thanks! Glad you like them! Also sorry for late(?) response, timezones and all....
This is the full image in the header: (there are 2 versions, can't recall which one it is)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was part of my Spooktober series last year. (Here's the OG post too)
Her name is Avane Faydream, or Ava Mantis; she's mostly known as Ava by her friends. Ava is a mixed heritage Mantis Fairy-Dreameater where she has abilities belonging to both beings. (Her Dreameater heritage is why she has black wings, typically her kin have green ones. Her eyes also come from her dreameater dad)
The image above is not her "canon" design though, apart from her hair, Here's her actual ref. (Some info below miiight be slightly outdated though, I tend to develop and change things overtime, but the designs at least are up-to-date)
She also has this outfit that was inspired by a really pretty Japanese modern dress I saw online once when researching for inspo for outfits to another character: (Her OG version was Japanese, now she doesn't really have direct connections to human world, but I'd say her mother, if placed on earth, would probably be from Asia somewhere, though not necessarily Japanese.)
Tumblr media
Ava is kind of my main lady, because she has direct connections to all of my "main" characters, from working for the Goth Dad Jurou/Alistair as a tattoo artist, to being one of Azul Samaros/ Chester Knight's friends he sometimes ask for help from. (When Azul says he knows someone, he goes "I know a gal" rather than "I know a guy" quite often lol)
She has a boyfriend, a bi Grimmhound (with some Lycan heritage) named Roman Bosco, who used to work for a human mobster (or more like was forced to/the guy was also in love with him but in kind of a toxic way....) and he's one of those absolute sweetheart, romantic teddy bear guys. (His ref here if you wanna learn more about Roman)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Roman has vitiligo btw)
Her dad Lawrence is sort of the 'antagonist' for my main story Night City Parlor, and she sort of tends to meddle in her dad's business to try and protect people from his influence. This includes Jurou, she actually went to work for him to secretly keep an eye on him, knowing her dad would be interested in someone as powerful as Jurou. (She also works together with her uncle, who ends up becoming Jurou's love interest lol)
She loves her dad dearly, but he's somewhat gone off the deep end after what happened to his wife/her mother; he's not coping with her condition well, burying himself in his dangerous and important work, which has started to erode his moral code. As a result, Ava feels the need to protect others from her dad's worse tendencies. (Ava has some of these personality traits from her dad, where she has the capability to be somewhat manipulative and occasionally struggles with empathy. Unlike her dad though, she is self-aware of this and actively works on not giving in on her worse impulses, and will let her friends/BF/Family call her out on it and listen)
I guess I can also list couple of fun facts:
Ava's design took me SO long to get into a place where I liked it. This is kind of typical for me with ladies for some reason, but once I did manage to create something I loved, she quickly became one of my favorite characters.
Ava has a couple of friend groups; 1. the day-to-day one with her coworker and friend Claude, as well as their boss' adoptive son (and Claude's BF) Caelan. 2. Her "sneaky action" group which includes both the former and current right hand woman of her dad, Marci and Aimi. (Typically ones she goes to, when she wants to meddle into her dad's business, or alternatively do something more dangerous lol) 3. Her Girl Bestie, Taiga (A kitsune, works at a hair salon she often goes to, they do girls night hangouts)
Ava is Demiromantic/Demisexual, she basically had no interest in either until she met Roman and slowly developed feelings for him. (She was actually kind of worried her dominant personality would be off-putting to him given his history, but they had a honest talk about it and he basically didn't mind because she tries her best to be the best version of herself despite her mental hiccups)
Ava is NOT good with kids, she has no proper patience to deal with them, and tends to be awkward around children. That being said she tends to try and be a good role model to the ones she has around her in her day-to-day life (namely her boss Jurou's daughter, who's a huge fan of hers lol).
Ava has a lightning bolt tattoo (not shown on the images above, given they are timed before she got it) designed for her by Roman. She basically appeared suddenly in his life like a 'lightning from clear skies' and completely changed things for him, gave him a chance to built the kind of life he'd actually want to live, instead of being forced to work for a criminal.
This got kinda long, but that's what happens when you get asked about your characters I suppose lmao

Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars
These Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars are creamy cheesecake loaded with Oreos and swirled with buttery caramel baked on a crushed cookie crust! Easy to make, these cheesecake bars are perfect for any occasion!
And if you love cheesecake, make sure to check out my recipe and tips on how to make the Perfect Cheesecake!
Oreo Cheesecake Bars Are Easy and Delicious!
Oh friends, today’s recipe is a blast from the past! I made these bars and published the recipe WAY back in 2010. They are a classic Cookies and Cups favorite recipe for a lot of my OG readers…for good reason. These Golden Oreo Cheesecake Bars are OUT.OF.CONTROL. I thought the pictures needed a little sprucing up to re-share the recipe with all you newbies!
The idea came from my husbands love of the Golden Oreo, and I knew it would pair well with cheesecake. And to take it a step even further I added in a caramel swirl, oh yes I did.
Are You Team Golden Oreo or Classic Oreo?
My husband is a big Golden Oreo guy, claiming they are far superior to the classic. What are your thoughts? We’re fairly divided in my house…but the one thing we all agree on is they HAVE to be “Double Stuf”, regardless of the flavor when eating alone. For the sake of this recipe, though no need to use Double Stuf…regular Stuf works perfectly!
Can You Make These Cheesecake Bars With Classic Chocolate Oreos?
Absolutely! I do add a swirl of caramel into this recipe that you can leave out if you don’t like the idea of caramel and a chocolate Oreo…OR…replace it with hot fudge sauce. I mean RIGHT??
You could get even MORE creative and use one of the 4 million new flavors Oreo is always coming out with in these bars…They would ALL work! Here are a few examples:
Birthday Cake Oreos…add sprinkles to make them even more festive!
Mint Chocolate Oreos…what a cool and creamy combo!
Carrot Cake Oreos…the caramel would work perfectly and you could even throw in some pecans.
Red Velvet Oreos…these would be so pretty!
What Ingredients Do You Need?
Cream Cheese
Oreo Cookies
Marshmallow Fluff or Marshmallow Creme
Caramels – the soft kind you unwrap like Kraft or Werther’s (which are my favorite!)
1 egg
milk
butter
Do These Cheesecake Bars Need To Be Refrigerated?
Yes they do! Not only do you need to store these airtight in the fridge, but you will need to chill the bars for AT LEAST 4 hours after they are baked and cooled, so they will set up perfectly.
If you’ve ever made cheesecake before you know the waiting is the hardest part…but it can also be a great dessert option for guests because you can make this the night before!
Scared To Make Cheesecake?
If you’ve never made cheesecake before, these bars are a great place to start! You don’t have to worry about a water bath, or cracking. Bars are WAY more forgiving than a whole cheesecake, as they aren’t as thick, and you will be adding in crushed cookies and caramel so you won’t notice any cracking!
The addition of marshmallow fluff into the recipe aids in the texture being more sturdy than classic cheesecake as well. You want it to hold up to the caramel and the chopped cookies and the fluff adds structure.

In Defense of Thaddy Thor's Physique in Avengers: Endgame
There has been a lot of conversation surrounding Avengers: Endgame, the final chapter in Marvel’s 22-film, three-phase saga. Fans and critics have a lot of feelings about what the film did right, but a lot of the chatter I’ve seen on social media has been about what the film did wrong. Specifically, how the film “ruined” Thor. While I get some of the general issues people have with Thor in Endgame, a lot of the criticism feels unfair.
If you haven't seen Endgame yet and don't want to be spoiled, now is the time to stop reading.
At the beginning of the film, our heroes have lost the battle with Thanos. Thor, the self-proclaimed “strongest Avenger,” who first failed to deliver the fatal blow in Wakanda, executes a weakened Thanos on a garden planet in front of a demoralized team, then walks off. When we catch up with him five years later, he’s holed up in New Asgard with friends Miek and Korg. His hair has grown, his beard is unkempt, and crucially, he has gained weight. This has, apparently, made Thor “a joke.” That particular criticism irks me, so I’ll jump right into why I think it’s wrong.
First of all, Thaddy has been through A LOT. He loses the last of his living parents at the beginning of Ragnarok. His sister Hela, fresh outta prison, shattered Mjolnir(!) and kicked him out of the Bifrost mid-transport. She went to Asgard and murked an entire military squad, the Warriors Three, and no telling how many others. He landed on a strange planet where they cut off his hair(!!) and forced him to fight gladiator-style against his friend, Hulk. When he and his friends escaped, they came back to Asgard to save what remained but had to bring about Ragnarok — essentially letting a monster destroy Asgard — to kill Hela. Then when he led his remaining people to safety, their ship was beset upon by Thanos, who manually culled half the people on the ship, killed Heimdall and Loki, and gave Hulk the business. All while Thor watched, tied up and helpless.
Thor had already lost all his friends, family, and the majority of his people before Thanos used the Infinity Gauntlet to reduce the population of all living creatures by half. He 👏🏾 is 👏🏾 depressed. 👏🏾
Depression doesn't look the same on everybody. But it can and sometimes does look exactly like Thor. It looks like isolation, apathy, extreme weight loss or weight gain, and self-medicating or substance abuse. It looks like doing the bare minimum to keep yourself alive and grooming/showering only when you can muster the strength or the fucks to give. Thor wears his anger, grief, and guilt on his body like people who struggle with depression often do.
Apparently, this makes Thor unworthy. Or at least, that’s the way some people have interpreted it. I don't think the filmmakers thought through Thaddy, beyond wanting to show how much he was affected by everything he's experienced since we've known him. He was not written with as much care as he could have been, but I also don’t think he was written carelessly or as a punchline to a bad joke. I don't think the filmmakers saw him negatively or expected the audience to. They wrote him as someone who is still worthy.
Contrary to some criticism (1, 2, 3, 4), there are only a few times where someone makes a specific comment regarding his body/weight.
When Bruce and Rocket go to retrieve Thor and where his new, fatter body is revealed. Thor says something like "I am doing good, don't I look good?" and Rocket replies, "you look like melted ice cream."
Rocket is an asshole. That is his most defining characteristic, outside of being a sentient raccoon. (This is also why he does not give Thor a good pep-talk on Asgard.) Bruce says nothing about his physical appearance or about the way he spends his time and doesn't make fun of him or judge him for how he's changed. He just asks for his help.
When Thor abandons his mission to take the Aether from Jane and runs into his mother. After she lovingly roasts him and gives him sage advice, she sends him off with "eat a salad."
Mom's be like that. That’s not to diminish it cause it is problematic, but it's a thing a mom would say. It's something my mom has said to me and is in line with the kind of caring concern mothers who mean well often show.
After the team has successfully retrieved the stones and are discussing who will wield the new gauntlet. Thor asks them, "do you know what's coursing through my veins right now?" And Rhodey replies jokingly, "cheese wiz." Thor responds to this by making a face/gesture that's hard to read but is either agreement ("that's fair") or mild hurt. I personally read it as, "you got me there, but now is not the time."
It was, maybe, uncalled for, but definitely not worse than any of the numerous jokes that have been levied at other, fit-bodied people over time. One-liners are a staple of the Avengers films. Humor is one way the MCU and the Avengers films, in particular, have softened what might otherwise be very harsh stories to watch. Take away the zingers and it's just angst and fighting and death.
When Thor rejoins the rest of the team in Endgame, nothing really changes in how they treat him. Tony calls him a nickname, Lebowski, which is not a comment about his weight but his dress and overall demeanor. When Thor starts breaking down while discussing Jane and going on a tangent about what he's lost, they awkwardly try to get him back on task and when they can't, Tony gathers him patiently. They may react to him in ways the audience finds humorous, but they are not laughing at him.
I’d say the camera's POV was more discomforting than any of the characters’ words or behaviors. And this seems largely due to our own biases coloring how we view things. I watched all three Thor films recently and they have always loved a lingering torso shot that pans up. All-a-sudden it’s an issue when that same shot is focusing on a body we no longer find "appealing” or "attractive." They’ve always emphasized his body, it’s just now that his body is no longer “desirable” that the shot is making fun of him. The audience saw a “beer belly” and decided that was the joke. Never mind that the camera has always treated Thor this way.
Thor
Dark World
Ragnarok
Bonus: Age of Ultron
As for his character arc, he went from a person who wanted to be king but wasn’t ready in Thor to a person who was ready but didn’t want it in Dark World. In Ragnarok he discovers that even handicapped and disarmed, he has all the power within him. He leads the Asgardian refugees not because he wants to but because he is needed. It’s a lesson carried through into Infinity War, where he stands in front of a dying star to create a new weapon capable of defeating a powered-up Thanos. He doesn’t need Stormbreaker to be powerful, he needs it to channel his power.
That growth wasn't undermined in Endgame. Thor has not regressed, he’s stagnant. He’s lost. He doesn’t know where to go or how to move on. He feels like he failed his people as their king and everyone else as the “Strongest Avenger.” His retrieving of Mjolnir in the past/alternate reality was not about him “needing” a weapon (as he clearly had access to Stormbreaker), it was about him answering the question of, after all the failures and losses, is he still worthy? And he was. Belly, beard, sweatsuit, and all.
Maybe people's discomfort wasn't that the movie "made fun" of Thor's weight, but that it showed him being soft and vulnerable and messy and not all the way together. He didn't suppress the sadness and guilt he's entitled to. He responded to the pain. People want their heroes to suffer silently and never react or be affected. And it bothers some people that he didn't just move the fuck on. The film didn’t make him a “bumbling idiot” it just made him fat and people projected all their biases onto him.
As of this writing, I've seen Endgame three times. I went into both repeat viewings conscious of how the film treats Thor. And I've come away from it each time feeling the same way. I love Thaddy! I love that he was allowed to be imperfect. And I especially love that there was no “quick fix” before the big battle where he magically loses all the weight. Because even with a belly and split ends he’s still powerful, strong, and capable of and willing to fight. He’s still a hero!
And let us be clear, Thanos was beating ALL they asses! Any comments that Thor was singularly weak is nonsense. Tony and Steve got rocked in equal measure. Steve wielding Mjolnir was the shit(!!!) and it didn’t take anything away from Thor or undermine his strength in any way. Thor got his hero moments like many of the OG Avengers did, he just took a few Ls in the process.
Thor's final act on Earth is appointing Valkyrie king of New Asgard. He didn't want to be king in the first place and only took the mantle to protect his people after Asgard fell. In the five years while he was depressed and unable to lead, Valkyrie stepped up. She was ready and willing and he was not. Giving her the throne was not an act of weakness, but one of strength and wisdom. It was a culmination of all the lessons he's learned and him heeding his mother's advice to "be who you are, not who you're supposed to be."
Last we see Thor, he's hitching a ride with the Guardians and having a push-and-pull with Quill over who’s in charge. As we know, Thor is not a dude, he is a man. Quill is a dude at best. It's unclear whether Thor will make an appearance in the next GOTG, but if he does, I expect him to be the captain, it’s only fair.
Whether he remains thicc or tightens up is of no consequence. Being fat does not diminish him. He is still strong and he is still a hero. And frankly, he is still foine! A little tummy ain't never hurt nobody and Thaddy could still get it!

Hey r/Entrepreneur,After reading u/voscility’s post, I figured that I would try and add some value to this sub. I actually helped a buddy out with all this information yesterday, and I thought that some of you guys could definitely benefit from it.I’m not going to link to my social media accounts unless you guys would like me too and I have no affiliation with any of these apps. These are the ways I figured out how to do everything from growing the account from 0 to 165k. I post quite a bit of memes, gifs/videos with text above them, and create a lot of graphic design images. I will try and go as in depth as possible! Feel free to ask any questions or clarify anything I put that doesn’t make sense. If you have a better way of doing something, comment it!My methods are what I use to create mainly memes and viral-type content, but you can use them to create content for whatever type of account you are running, doesn’t have to be memes because I know memes are not appropriate for many types of businesses. My #1 RecommendationGET YOURSELF AN IPHONE 7 PLUS WITH AT LEAST 128GB OF MEMORY. I can’t really stress this enough. It could just be my preference, but I have seen friends and coworkers create content on their iPhone 5s and then when I look at it on my phone, it is grainy and blurry. Not to mention it is much slower creating graphics on an older phone. My iPhone is a literal substitute for my computer and for an iPad. I pay like $45/month through apple for it and I think that if you’re serious about social media, you should think about investing in one yourself. I’ve never been an Android guy, so if you use an Android and it works for you, great. But I still say iPhones are king for social media. My iPhone Apps (Not sure if they’re available on Android)#1 - Canva (Both Desktop and Mobile) App Store LinkCanva is the holy grail of graphic design. With it, I have created nearly every single meme, website graphic, header images, blog images, email templates, you name it. It is the absolute easiest and straightforward tool I have used. The only thing I don’t like about Canva is the lack of ability to outline text or add any shadows, but that’s alright, I highly recommend it.#2- InstaSizeWhat I Use it For: I use InstaSize mainly to add an image to a square, white background to leave space above for text. This is pretty much the standard meme format these days. You can add text with InstaSize, but Canva IMO has a wider selection of higher quality fonts and freedom for styling fonts.#3 - SquareFitWhat I Use it For: I use SquareFit for creating videos with text above them. If you have a video file on your phone, you can upload it to SquareFit, center it, add text to it, watermark it, add shapes, colored backgrounds, or their stamps (which I’ve never used). I think that you can only work with videos up to 1 minute long, but since that’s the limit on a single post in Instagram, I’ve never had a problem with it.#4 - GifShareWhat I use GifShare For: I use GifShare to turn gifs into videos in pretty much the same way I use InstaSize and Canva. If you have a gif and want to post it to Instagram, it needs to be a video. Upload the gif to the app, and leave some space above to add text. I don’t recommend adding text inside GifShare, because when you export it, it usually saves off-centered and gets messed up in the process. Save the now video to your phone, then open up SquareFit to add your text and watermark, then post to IG.#5 - RepostWhat I Use Repost For: I use Repost to literally repost videos from other IG posts. Depending on what the video is, or if I am exchanging a post with an account, I may or may not leave the little watermark with the OP’s username on it. Choose either light or dark, whichever looks better on that specific video. To repost without the OP’s watermark, you have to pay for the app, which I recommend doing if you’re constantly finding yourself needing the app and you can repost unlimited videos. If you don’t have explicit permission to repost another accounts video, always use their watermark. Really no account will get mad if you repost their video and they’re credited in both the caption and on the actual video. If you have a video that somebody Direct Messaged you on IG, you can save it to your phone directly from the DMs. Just press and hold down on the video (while it’s still small and the text box is visible, not when it’s full screen and the video is playing or it won’t work) and you can choose either “save” or “report.” Obviously, choose to save.#6 - EnlightWhat I use Enlight For: I use Enlight if I ever need any tools that match with Photoshop tools. I know there’s a Photoshop iOS app, but I’ve been using Enlight for a while and it’s never let me down. With this app, you can mix and blend images together. So if you wanted to combine 2 photos and make them look seamless, use this app. Once you mix the images, you can erase parts of the image, blend and overlay them, rotate, etc with pretty precise precision. You can also heal images to remove blemishes, add filters, tilt-shift, decals and quite a bit more features that make enlight a core app for me.I also use Enlight to create actual memes like the OG memes with the white font outlined in black on the top and/or bottom of the image.#7 - FlipagramWhat I use Flipagram for: I use Flipagram really only to add music to a video, speed it up, slow it down, or to duplicate a short video (
