Ramón

You were playing video games with Ramón when his phone dinged. At first, he ignored it. It wasn’t until the third time that he picked it up. You watched as a look of annoyance quickly turned to pure amusement.

“What is it?” You asked.

Ramón hopped off the bed and quickly unbuckled his pants. Before you could ask what he was doing, he smiled at you wildly, then grabbed his phone with his other hand,

“I’m gonna send one back!”

Pacho

“You make the best martinis.” You said as you finished off your drink. You weren’t really a Martini person, but Pacho has the magic touch. The look he shot you in response is a clear, yeah I know.

Pacho stands and gathers the glasses for a refill. When he reaches the counter his phone buzzes. Pulling it out of his pockets, he stills as he looks at the screen. From his smile alone, you know whatever he’s looking at is amusing.

Pacho frees up both his hands then types, “send another one.”

Isabella

After a fun night out, you and a few others end up at some guys party. He’s someone Isabella knows and gives you all VIP treatment.

As you chill on the long couch, Isabella phone goes off. Not that you were being nosey, but you were sitting right next to her. So when she pulls up the screen and a very clear dick pick is starting at you, you nearly spit your drink out.

Isabella laughs, then looks at you. You know that look. She’s up to something.

She calls one of the guys over whose been drooling over her since you arrived. Barely holding back a laugh, she stands and pulls up her camera,

She looks the guy right in the eyes and says, “Drop your pants.”

Benjamin aka my sweet Min

Sinking into the office chair, Min pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. He’s tired. It’s been a long ass day. And all he wants is to get home to his wife and little girl.

Swiveling in the chair, he can see the crew downstairs, and ‘Mons cackle reaches the office. Benjamin narrow the blinds a little more then returns to the desk. Just as he reaches for a stack of papers, his phone buzzes in his pocket.

At first he smiles, maybe it’s a cute picture of his daughter, his wife likes to send those. But once he pulls the photo up, his smile drops to a frown.

A look of total disgust morphs his expression and Benjamin promptly deletes the photo and blocks the number.

“What the fuck?” He stands and rests his hands on his hips.

That’s it. He’s had enough for the day.

Rafa

When you arrived, Rafa had just finished watching Scarface, again. But you weren’t going to bust his bubble. At the sight of you, he jumped up to his feet and gave you the biggest hug.

Tonight you’re going dancing, and after a long work week, you’re really looking forward to it. A night out with Rafa is exactly what you need.

With one arm around your shoulders, he excitingly tells you about his newest strain and insists you try it before going out.

Before he can go on any further, his phone buzzes. Rafa steps away to get it the quickly joins your side. The moment he pulls up the screen he erupts on laughter.

Rafa immediately shows you the picture as he curls over with laughter.

“I gotta post this - “ he straightens up and pulls up his Instagram.

“Rafa I don’t think that a -“ you try to warn through your laughter.

“Done!” He showed you the phone.

He posted it.

Lenny Miller x reader (Anna movie 2019)

Thank you all so so much for the lovely and kind messages for this celebration 🎉💕✨ this is the first request I got, by also lovely @lyarr24 who is always providing new, challenging and incredible ideas. I tried to incorporate a couple of both ideas you sent and the dress is a nod to Pretty woman ♥️

⭐️ I couldn’t fit it into a blurb (it’s a bit longer than that) but shorter than a one shot (I think) ☺️

Summary: Lenny is in charge of getting back a stolen briefcase, but in this new mission, he will find something else.

“Good morning.” You greeted entering the almost full lift.

Even though no one greeted back, the smile never left your face, after the shit you’ve been through nothing would ruin the happiness you were determined to reach.

Walking out in the floor they instructed, and you were greeted with more emotionless faces.

But either way, you were grateful for the fresh new start, new people, same job but different city, different missions…

“Hello, I’m Y/N Y/LN… I’m new in the team and would like to introduce myself to Mr.-“

“Agent Y/LN come in.” A deep male voice called for you, your new boss. He closed the door behind you and that’s when you noticed another man leaned against the wall with his arms folded against his chest. “I know there should be a proper meeting with the staff to get them all to meet you, but this time I need you to start working in this case in five minutes. This is agent Leonard Miller, he’s in charge of this mission and these… are your new identities.” He handed you and the other agent a set of official documents such as passport, credentials, credit cards, driver license…

“After you catch up with agent Miller over the mission, my assistant will get a white dress for you so you and agent Miller can head to the city court to sign the marriage papers.”

“What? No.”

But you were ushered outside by this stranger with straight face and piercing blue eyes.

“Do you want water? Coffee? I’d suggest something stronger but it’s working hours.” He offered you once in his office.

“No and no, I don’t want to get married.” Not after what you’ve been through, not even for a mission.

“Sorry, all other candidates were over fifty, it wouldn’t look real.” And he knew with your expertise you would be the best for this job, plus he was impressed by your resume.

“Congratulations this is the key to your room Mr. and Mrs. Louvier, we hope you enjoy your stay in the Four Seasons Hotel George V.” You looked surprised at the woman in the other side of the reception, the fake last name you were given for this mission felt surreal, the gold band around your ring finger felt heavy, suddenly a cold hand rested in the small of your back and guided you through the luxury resort.

“I know you don’t want to do this, but you need to get your game face on agent Y/N.” Lenny whispered in your ear as the doors to the lift flew open, letting out a fake laugh, his hand caressed your jaw. “That’s so funny love.” Lenny tucked a tray of hair behind your ear. The sign you had to know the target was close. But there were three men inside. You didn’t know what you were looking for yet, there were a lot of blank spaces on the mission, everything was so rushed to you, but Lenny had been after this man for a while.

Two of the men tried to prevent you and Lenny from getting inside the lift.

“My engagement ring! Baby I just remembered I left it in the room.” Without asking, you entered the lift and pulled Lenny by the hand. The two men shared a look but the other one nodded.

“It’s okay, as long as you don’t forget about me.” He joked pressing the wrong floor number.

Your hand ran up and down Lenny’s chest, he was now dressed in a casual attire instead of the neat suit he was wearing that morning.

The man chuckled, the other two seemed to be the bodyguards.

“Scott Louvier.” Lenny offered his hand to the man. “This is my wife, Isabella Louvier.”

“We just got married.” You looked at Lenny adoringly.

“Congratulations, I’ll send a bottle to your room later.”

You thanked him, well… Isabella Louvier did.

“Bottega briefcase? Haven’t seen one since my father wore his.”

“What happened to it?” The man looked at his watch.

Lenny shook his head. “His wife sold it for €10 at a garage sale after he passed away.”

“That’s a shame, they don’t make them anymore.”

The three men walked out of the lift on the tenth floor. Lenny called the agency to request a suite on the floor above him under another name.

In a matter of minutes, a housekeeper brought you a key and announced the bags would arrive shortly.

“Exactly what are we looking for?” You asked as Lenny was inside the walk-in closet.

“The Bottega briefcase he had, he stole it when an agent got hurt and the operation failed. Classified documents are hidden inside the briefcase. We still don’t know if he did it on purpose or not.” He replied in a hurry and opening the bag, he took several items. A weapon, an in-ear monitor, it was the same size of a pea, a bracelet with a panic button for you… the agency had everything ready. Lenny walked to the balcony of the suite to try the monitors. “Can you hear me?”

“Loud and clear” you replied checking the loaded weapon. Walking through the room, you were mesmerized by the place, looking at the bed you wondered how Lenny and you would manage it.

“The bed’s yours…” He clarified reading your mind. “I’ll take the couch.”

“Such a gentleman.” The agency payed well, but this luxury was still out of your reach. You were informed that Locke left the hotel so, for now there wasn’t a lot of things you could do. After checking his itinerary for the following days, you walked to the small room next to the bedroom, the Eiffel Tower offered a majestic view.

“Will you ever tell me why were so hesitant to work in this mission?” Someone knocked on the door. Lenny was told by the team it was only the housekeeper.

The hotel had sent them some honeymooners petite desserts and wine. Lenny accepted them and opened the bottle, pouring two glasses. You gasped at the treats provided by the staff to wish you a happy honeymoon.

“If I don’t, you’ll ask someone for my private file, right?” Lenny nodded, you let out a loud sigh. “I found my now ex-husband in bed… with another man.”

After the shock passed, Lenny apologized, he could’ve asked why the agency didn’t check his background or phone, but instead he gave you a genuine look of sorry, not pity.

Ordering room service, Lenny shared with you how he started his career early in the agency making copies and taking coffee orders until after a terrible accident several agents were injured and he was asked to take a intensive training course and he surprised the board of directors with his intelligence and attention to detail and was asked to participate actively in missions while continuing with his training until overnight he was leading his own team.

After the bottle of wine was empty, you had already shared half of your life with Lenny, he was kind, well educated and had a very interesting conversation. You also found out that he smiled and laughed at the slightest provocation.

It was until past midnight that you couldn’t keep your eyes open and headed to sleep, feeling guilty that he’d be sleeping in the couch.

The following morning you were greeted by the smell of coffee, croissants and more délices.

“Good morning wifey.” Lenny joked. “Coffee?”

Embarrassed by the look of just waking up when he was already dressed, you ran to the bathroom to get at least presentable.

Over breakfast the two of you got to know more about each other. And you constantly tried to make him laugh because the sound made you feel good. He was so easy to talk to and being total honest, you would like to get to work with him in another mission. Once you were done in the shower, wrapping yourself in the fluffy bathrobe, you heard Lenny knocking on the door.

“I’ve been informed Locke has a lunch reservation at 1 o’clock, think is enough time to get ready?”

30 minutes later, a beautiful red cocktail off the shoulders dress hugged your figure and you were walking hand in hand with your fake husband to the exclusive restaurant. The look he gave you didn’t go unnoticed.

“Now you know things about me I haven’t tell anyone… What about you?” You asked Lenny while waiting for your table.

“Been a bit busy with work lately… when I looked back, I was already 39 years old.” He admitted while his eyes roamed through your body, he couldn’t help it, that fucking dress made him unbutton his shirt, suddenly the tie was too tight. “It’s understandable you didn’t want to get married, in my defense I don’t like men and I can cook.” The hostess handed him a card Locke had for you, in a furious move, he teared it into pieces and took your hand to pull you back to the elevator. Asking him what had happened, you could hear the team in position asking for an answer as well.

“Locke wants to sleep with agent Y/LN.” You froze, never imagined you’d be exposed to something like this. The team remained quiet, waiting for Lenny’s instructions.

“You can’t cancel the operation.”

“I’m not risking you like this.” He rubbed his mouth in an angry motion.

But you pressed Locke’s floor anyways.

“Y/N.”

“We’re in position agent Miller.” The leader of the team talked to you through the in-ear monitor. Lenny looked at you and pulled you into the staircase door, turning off the microphones and cutting all connection with the team.

“Are you sure about this?” He knew from your file that you were a terrible cook, you enjoyed rappel and took boxing classes, you were fluent in German and Portuguese and visited Disney parks twice a year with your nieces and nephews, you volunteered at the local orphan weekly to read to kids too.

“I know you won’t let anything happen to me, I go in, offer him a drink you and the boyband come inside in eight minutes, we take the briefcase and that’s it.” The plan sounded easy, but his intense gaze was making it hard to concentrate.

“No, that’s not it.” Lenny took you by surprise when his strong hand held the back of your head and his lips found yours, in a heated motion he kissed you with passion, desperate. You barely had time to intertwine your fingers in his hair, moving the fringe in his forehead away, returning the kiss with the same desire, until he pulled away. “This is for your cork collection. And we break into the room in four minutes, so be quick.” He handed you the cork of the wine bottle he opened and you noticed he had written the date to your fake wedding.

You wanted to ask how did he know about the fact that you collected the cork after opening a bottle of wine, but soon, you heard him talking into your ear.

“Think after the success of this mission we could… go out on a date? Not as agents or fake marriage of course.”

Knocking on Locke’s room, you answered: “Make sure to enter the room in less than two minutes and I’m in.”

Hi i think your posts are really interesting and well thought through so, I'd like to hear your thoughts on something ive been thinking about. Is Catherine 1.0 a snob and if so how does this affect her desire to marry Linton and grow up and away from Wuthering Heights?

Hi! Thanks for the praise.

I think Catherine 1 does like having authority over others and can be demanding in her relations with her servants. She does remind Nelly of she herself being the mistress and not her. She also does assume a slightly snobbish attitude towards Heathcliff in her teenage years under the Linton influence.

How does this latter effect her decision to not marry Heathcliff? It effects it to an extent since she cites Heathcliff’s “degradation” by her brother as a reason to not marry him, Catherine never views Heathcliff as inherently lesser, but she does view his uneducated and filthy and sullen teenage self to be “degraded”. Still I think the practical economic reason of them becoming “beggars” if they ever marry is a more important factor in her decision than snobbery.

Catherine also makes fun of Edgar’s snobbery when he wants Heathcliff to be received at the kitchen when he comes back, and she classifies herself with Heathcliff rather than the Lintons:

“He looked vexed, and suggested the kitchen as a more suitable place for him. Mrs. Linton eyed him with a droll expression—half angry, half laughing at his fastidiousness.

‘No,’ she added, after a while; ‘I cannot sit in the kitchen. Set two tables here, Ellen: one for your master and Miss Isabella, being gentry; the other for Heathcliff and myself, being of the lower orders. Will that please you, dear? Or must I have a fire lighted elsewhere? If so, give directions. I’ll run down and secure my guest. I’m afraid the joy is too great to be real!’”

Nelly also tells Edgar that him calling Heathcliff “gypsy” or “ploughboy” would upset Catherine.

In general, I think Catherine can weaponize snobbery in her dealings with Joseph and Nelly and she does have a snobbish phase in her early teens. But overall I wouldn’t call her a particularly snobbish person. A particularly snobbish person wouldn’t be so in love with Heathcliff.
