There was a hairless therapy cat at the hospital Saki stayed at. That cat LOVED her. It was always on her bed, and it brought her stuffed animals. Now that she's out of the hospital, the cat RUNS up to her whenever she needs to visit for an appointment.

In the way that the universe seems to work sometimes, I let my coworkers know that I was keeping an eye out for a new, less-than-likely-to-be-adopted kibben who needed a new forever home. One coworker reached out to let me know that she knew a woman who knew a woman who's elderly mother had just passed away and the daughter, (who already had two large dogs), was desperately looking to rehome her mother's beloved cat. So, everybody, I'd like you to meet my new writing buddy, The Critic. She's old, cranky, very talkative and very much a lap kitty!

Yep, I went out to do something, and found these two on my back porch. I get so many kittens, these make four kittens this year I've brought in.

Their names are Jack and Sally because that's what Bean called them. (Tux is Jack, Void is Sally)
