Got tired of not having a proper ref of Medley Brook from the comics (she's Zecora's childhood friend) so I made one myself!

I was literally obsessed with the Nightmare Rarity comics as a kid.

I started reading some of the mlp comics because I wanted to learn more about a few of the comic only races and no one told me that

A. Tempest is the funniest character of all fucking time like GIRL what are you DOING stop bragging about how you could subjugate this village in like half an hour

B. Shout out to the comics just...casually introducing a second set of elements of harmony and gave it to Zecora and her friends from her homeland like literally what is going on

This is a random post, but it’s a #mailcall ! A few months ago, an admin in a vintage toy group I’m in asked if anyone had experience restoring ponies. Then a few months after that, she asked if I’d be open to giving a live demonstration for the group! So last month, I went on Facebook live and shared some basic pony cleaning tips, and in an hour managed to clean one pony and put in one curl. (Those are my example ponies there!) and to thank me (and the other presenters) the admin sent me my very first UK pony comic! It’s so cute, and so sweet of her!! 💖

I CAN EXPLAIN I SWEAR, I SWEAR-!

So I watched the mario movie, 1,000/10 would 100% see it again! However, you are probably wondering why I drew ponies, something I never drew before, instead of my usual art.

Well, for that I have an answer! I at first thought this was a fever dream that my child mind made up, but Mario and Luigi actually are canon characters with their own designs in the mlp world, and are shown throughout one specific offical mlp comic. They are the royal plumbers at the castle in the crystal empire, hence why their coats and manes are all shiny.

So in a spark of inspiration from the latest Mario movie, I decided to draw them. Everything from their coats to their cutiemarks are all in their full design, the only thing that is different is that I added a marking on their hat because it just felt right.

However, they didn't have any official designs for Peach and Toad, so I made my own pony designs of them. I have my own personal headcanons regarding the four and all of that, which I may share later.

I think the only truly worrying thing about all of this is that Shining Armor, Princess Cadance, and the staff are probably wondering why their plumbers ended up going missing lmao

A cover for a new comic miniseries has surfaced! This is the B cover of issue 1 of My Little Pony: Set Your Sail. The cover was illustrated by JustaSuta and features Izzy Moonbow as a seapony.

We don't have any other information about this series at the moment.
