still keeping the cats confined to their respective bedrooms is good bc they aren't fighting anymore and there isn't pee to clean up at the front door.

peach however is furious that i a) won't let her go sit in the bathroom* and b) use the kitchen water bowl**

*shes escaped briefly twice and did this both times and then screamed for a while about it once she was back in my room

**she will only drink water from the bowl in my room very reluctantly***. prior to the room situation, she only ever drank out of the bowl in the kitchen.

***putting the bowl thats in the kitchen in my room doesn't appear to count

#messages from the ouija board #she def prefers the litter box in the bathroom and the water in the kitchen over either one in my room #i assume its a social thing? being in a common space #but this is only until September and i think itll be much better for her when its just carolines cat & her #instead of four (FOUR!!) cats in my current situation #one of whom regularly plays too rough w her/fights her lately (yes thats the pee man) and shes overgrooming again

lol i’ll put this under a read more so cw bugs and larvae. not pictures just talking about them

apparently a moth decided to lay eggs somewhere in the attic or something and since our house is poorly built and old and falling apart (epic) there’s gaps between the ceiling and the top of the walls in my room so basically. i woke up today in a horror movie and there was larvae crawling around all over my ceiling

#i was getting dressed and looked up #and saw something on the ceiling #i stood on my bed to look but i didn’t have my glasses on so i honestly thought they were maggots #made some coffee and reflected on the situation #my f*ther had to help me get them down and determine what they were #since they’re not maggots we just scooped them up and put them outside #follow ur dreams little moths…just preferably not on my bedroom ceiling #i’m glad i’m someone who is unphased by larvae and maggots and bugs and stuff #cause i can only imagine what a nightmare that would be for someone who doesn’t like that stuff :(#my mom was FREAKING out #what a start to the month #happy september !!!!#snow.txt

Truly genuinely beyond happy my feelings of hunger are back and normal and regularly occurring again after the hellscape that was the past year

#rant #my health issues #jsjsjd just like? goddamn was it awful not feeling hunger #u would think 'oh how nice no hunger pain' but no! it meant nausea and pain and vomiting instead of hunger!#it meant feeling awful! feeling hunger again is NORMAL IS NICE IS much preferable!#its also a great sign im healing! i have been sort of keeping track of my hunger pangs too and like #in summer i had none and was basically forcing myself to eat to try and get 2000 cal a day #cause i was finally holding down food (most) days #but in september as physical therapy and axxupuncture started. i started feeling hunger. but eating based on hunger #i was still undereating so id eat like 300-500 cals then feel full. then force the other 1000+#now? im finally feeling hungry AROUND breakfast ARPUND lunch and NEAR dinner #im finally feeling hungry til i get around 1700 cal (which is around my bodys maintenance calorie BMR estimate)#so my body is finally EXPECTING and SIGNALLING i need the proper amount of food ahain #which is great. i feel like its starting to work right again #i feel i can trust to eat when im hungry now and know its telling me enough (instead of too less)

i have genuinely been very productive today and that’s a very big deal for me!

i have not, however, packed or cleaned out the fridge or finished the dishes. and i leave for the airport in 13 hours. i need to do those things

#the way I’ve been cleaning all day cause I left everything for one day lmao #my room is clean and my bathroom is clean #i cleaned the floors of the kitchen which was kinda silly since I haven’t done anything else but whatever #oh I also organized my shelf in the kitchen which was very fulfilling #I don’t think I’m gonna have enough time to organize my desk which is sad cause I wanted to set EVERYTHING up perfect for future boom but #hey. this is still the nicest it’s all been since I moved in in September so 🤷🏼#I also have a three hour bus ride (plus Lyfts/taxis on both sides of the bus cause it’s not direct) and THEN a flight tmrw so it’s gonna be #a longass day tmrw #oh shit I need to make sure someone can pick me up at the airport when I get there tmrw. I’d really prefer to not be stranded (or pay for #another frickin Lyft). anyway. everybody root for me and my traveling #packing also involves folding my laundry which is just rude #but I’ve turned on critical role cause I got sick of listening to music all day so at least there’s that #the one benefit of missing last weeks episode is that now I get to listen to it #(and I’m gonna miss tmrw’s cause I’m gonna be on an airplane 😭)#life of a boomerang

#i am.... absolutely exhausted. can't concentrate. can't write or draw. frustrated agitated noise sensitivity dialled up to 100 #my beautiful and talented friends have written so many fics i need to catch up on and leave comments on and i am feeling overwhelmed #so i am trying to take it easy this week ;_;#literally i feel so overwhelmed lately and the self-esteem has just plummeted. i'm... so sleepy....#i almost prefer september-april when i have 4 periods at most because of stress.#damn that's not normal eh

Had a nice vent session with one of my friends today and realized that while some of my unhappiness with some of my roommate situation is valid, the frustration is out of proportion. There's a lot of stuff that I'm absolutely not owed, but because it's a disturbance to the status quo while a bunch of other shit is going wrong, it feels way worse than it is.

And I have to get a handle on that before I start trying to have a conversation about all of this.

I don't like to let things simmer but frankly I have been doing bad for a while and I don't have the level of self-control that I need to handle things properly. The cracks are starting to show a bit in other areas of my life and that's freaking me out worse. But I can bear a bit of frustration for a while. I've done it for years. I'll cope. I'll call my retirement company on Monday so I can start the process of cashing that out. I'll get myself better fed so I can function a little better and I'll do my best to get some sun and see people. I'll get a better job again. I'll go back to therapy. I'll see a doctor. I'm not falling apart forever. I just need to keep my cool and handle things as they currently are for a little while longer. I'll be okay.

#faer personal files #like yeah. i knew these guys ran avoidant and could be a little stingier with guests than i prefer even before i moved in #and i was fine with that. and if they're feeling like returning to their status quo with me instead of sharing when there's extra?#that's no great sin. i'll note it. i'll be a little less generous in turn. they're not getting birthday presents from me this year lol #but like. it's no big betrayal of their character as i've known it to be the status quo just got nicer for a while and it's settling back #that's fine #if there's a point of contention on the chore chart frankly i'm just gonna say i'll do my own dishes buy a bit more plastic for when i can'#put me in the shower cleaning rotation but that's it i can't do more right now that's all there is to it #and i'll handle it and worse comes to worse if shit gets bitter i can move out and live with my sister come september
