Codember 2024: Fragments of Sappho

Bueno, pues al final me animé a participar este año en el codember, no sé si llegaré a hacer todos los prompts pero voy a intentarlo. Para el primero, como voy un poco tarde y además tenía ganas de una firma, pues me salió algo sencillito pero me inspiró el hecho de ponerle varias partes (fragmentos) y que no sea solo la imagen.

Características:

El color de acento y letra se puede cambiar en la variables --fragaccent1, --fragaccent2, --fragb.

La imagen se redimensiona a la firma.

El tamaño de la firma es de 400x200px.

Reglas:

No quitar los créditos.

Prohibido copiar/redistribuir o reclamar como propio. Se puede usar como guía o base para otro código, siempre y cuando se respeten los créditos.

Sick as a dog all week so doing katas

I did an absolutely ridiculous amount of katas last week because I've been ill and didn't want to go too rusty.

Here are some fun solutions(but not all the solutions I worked on):

This was my solution to ParseInt Reloaded, in which you get served with the word of a number, like "one thousand five-hundred and twenty" and you have to parse that to an integer. Not shown: Big TreeMap of words that are mapped to integer values that I use for calculations.

This was my solution to the Sum of Intervals kata, in which the big trick is actually to merge overlapping intervals. Here I do that by basically sorting the 2d array you get by the first numbers of the interval and then checking if the first number of the following interval is smaller than the second number of the previous interval, than taking the previous interval and upping the second number to the higher of the two intervals.

Then I iterate over the resulting merged intervals and just count it up because simple math is very efficient, even for large numbers (need to be able to handle veeeeeery large ranges).

Final one is the Who Likes It? kata because I got to pull out the enhanced switch case:

hello this is FISH🐟 anon again. just pretend you don't know my main and i'm oh so mysterious. i am mildly sleep deprived, but funny thing. on one Discord server i''m a part i'm in (i'm actually mutuals with the server owner, wow i'm so fucking cool.) my server nickname is arachnidsGrip because haha funny Homestuck reference. one time i sent a message asking whether anyone played COD Mobile and someone responded to me in German that they play Brawl Stars. i of course don't know German. so my new nickname there is allegedlyGerman, also AG. thus proving that Vriska Serket is actually German all along.

Forgot what the hell COD stood for and assumed you were just on your mobile fish app. Oh, you know, the cod app. Where you look at a cod. #Mycod

Me apetecía mucho hacer un código de este estilo, porque después de haber estado seis años administrando Obscurum Cor, echo de menos este estilo oscuro. He añadido también un índice sencillo para aquellos a los que no les guste poner directamente la cronología o las relaciones. ¡Espero que os guste! ✨

Características:

El fondo dependerá del propio foro, aunque esté pensado para los temas oscuros. Todos los colores se pueden cambiar y adaptar al tema en cuestión o como se quiera.

El filtro en blanco y negro de las imágenes se puede cambiar/quitar.

Las variables a cambiar son: --dark1; --dark2; --dark3; --darktxtc; --darkbg;--darkfilter.

El tamaño de las imágenes viene indicado dentro del propio código, aunque se ajustan en tamaño.
