Lovestruck: Ask to Just Be Friends Romantic Relationship Fix

For some reason when breaking off a romantic relationship with the "Ask to Just Be Friends" interaction, the game does not remove romantic satisfaction or romance dynamics from the relationship. This means despite breaking things off officially - nullifying engagements and no longer considering the sims romantic partners - sims would still get moody over their romantic satisfaction decaying or get buffs for their romance dynamic.

This mod makes sure the interaction removes romantic satisfaction and romance dynamics from the relationship the same way the meaner "Break Up" interaction does, with a custom notification for this scenario.

[SSE] Expansion and Romance for Miraak Follower Dialogue Overhaul - 1.1.1 UPDATE

This mini-update removes the mask conditional from his player home dialogue, to make it easier to trigger. I recommend keeping his mask on him until after this conversation for maximum immersion lol.

Previosu Update: 1.1

implements the fixes added since version 1.71 to Miraak Follower Dialogue Overhaul by Yogibir (Mantra lip sync, new script to fix Bend Will's usage on him during the battle), as well as fixes an issue that prevented some of his new lines in "Anything on your mind" from playing, and missing audio and data for one of these lines. Now, if you're romancing him, he won't be shy anymore, and will say his new lines.

Safe to update mid-save as far as I can tell. Same information from the original post applies. This may receive future updates in the form of additional lines if I have time and patience to sort that out haha.

Adopt Horse Off the Grid Bugfix

I always knew this day would come... the day when EA's unbelievable laziness would push me to finally make my own mods, and today is the straw that broke the horse's back...

There's a really annoying bug in TS4 that locks all interactions involving buying/adopting horses when playing on a lot with the "Off the Grid" lot trait. I don't know about you, but as someone who really wanted to play an off the grid ranch, this pissed me off. 🥴 You can still acquire a horse by traveling to the Equestrian Center, but I don't wanna sit through a loading screen when... it should just work. After all, why does the community board need an internet connection?!

This bug also applies to adopting cats, dogs, and tiny humans, but luckily there's already a mod to fix that, which you can find here. There was, however, no mod to my knowledge that re-enabled these interactions for horses, and the thread on the EA forum post about this bug is pretty much dead on arrival, so I took matters into my own hands. The best/worst part? It took me barely five minutes to fix 😂 So I thought I'd share the mod here for anyone else who is feeling as frustrated as I was about this.

This mod simply re-enables the Adopt/Purchase Horse interactions on the computer, phone, horse bed, and Chestnut Ridge community board when playing off the grid. Enjoy!

Should be compatible with everything; This mod is a raw tuning file with 0 scripts, only alters the tuning for specific interactions involving adopting/buying a horse, and I didn't encounter any issues playing with it in my absurdly large mods folder. i didn't include every single thing, only things i myself find hideous and offensive to the eye, so it's likely the things you don't like are in this download.

some packages might be in the wrong folder because the 'storage' category has always confounded me for some reason.

i won't touch anything starbearysims has already done, so you can use both.

some items have the exact same name, so don't delete things like "drafting table2" because that's not an error.

if someone else has already done this and i just couldn't find it, don't tell me. this took me hours.

INSTALLATION: REPLACEMENT

So the way tattoos work in the game is that there are 4 tattoos contained within a file which can be broken down and the individual tattoos edited or replaced. Most modded tattoos only contain one tattoo within the file, but it still overrides the other 3 slots which is why you get the entire head tattoo and duplicates. With these tattoos however the other slots are still filled with the default tattoos so only one tattoo will be overridden, and the rest will look the same. Here’s a gif comparison in case I sucked at explaining it.

-Download the file that matches your Characters Race/Origins (Only replace ONE file at a time)

-Choose which tattoo you want and rename it to the corresponding code listed below that also matches your characters race/origin uh_pct_dc1_0t (Dwarf Commoner) uh_pct_dn1_0t (Dwarf Noble) uh_pct_h01_0t (Human Noble, Circle of Magi, City Elf) uh_tat_ed1_0t (Dalish Elf)

note: you can have up to 4 replacements at once they just cannot be from the same folder. So you can not have 2 Dwarf Noble replacements but you could have one dalish, one human, and one commoner at the same time for example.

[WIP] Working on a version of Baby Trunks's hat for infants that will be unisex. Might put some designs on the some of the duplicated color swatches. May make a toddler version in the future as well as baby Trunks's outfit.

All my other stuff am taking a break from them to brush up on my blender skills. Since taking a break my skills with blender became rusty. xD

I'll post an update later when I finally get it the way I want it.

Showering/Bathing fills hands hygiene

Hi, everyone! I'm here with another new mod. I always hated how showering doesn't make you sim's hands hygiene go up. It's separate. So, I made a simple mod to make it go up when a sim takes a shower or a bath! Because it should. There's no reason to take a shower and still have dirty hands.

This is designed to be used with Zer0's Visible Hidden Needs mod. Which I don't actually use because it's too annoying, but during the brief period I used it, I was like WTF why doesn't the hands hygiene go up when they shower! I hated my sims constantly being uncomfortable when they JUST TOOK A SHOWER. But still, this should also make your sims wash their hands less because they'll get clean whenever they shower LIKE THEY SHOULD!

All this does is test if a showering or bathing interaction is running then fills the hands hygiene, so nothing is overridden. Let me know if there are any problems! Like hands hygiene not filling when it should or filling when it shouldn't.

Lovestruck: Ask To Work On Romance Dynamic Fix

The interaction to ask to work on a romance dynamic is unfortunately broken. The interaction is supposed to work unless the target is in a bad mood, or if the social context of the conversation is bad (e.g. an Abhorrent or Boring discussion). In the checks for the social context, the game mistakenly checks for the basic conversation relationship bit (relbit_SocialContext_Awkwardness_Casual). This is present for every conversation, meaning the interaction would always fail. This is also the only interaction in the entire game that checks for this specific bit, so it's likely a mistake.

This mod fixes the interaction by removing the misplaced relationship bit.

Better Bee Boxes

I really like playing with gardening and farming in my saves, but with all of the micromanaging that comes with tending to chickens, cows, horses, plants, llamas, goats, and so on... I don't have time for my sims to keep trying to schmooze with the bee box over and over just so they don't get stung for daring to be in their proximity whilst the hive is vaguely irritated. Owch! There used to be a mod that sped up the bee bonding process, but it hasn't been updated since 2018... I looked into updating it myself, saw that it was rather easy, and added some of my own tweaks while I was at it. So here I present... Better Bee Boxes! Yay!

FEATURES

Instantly max friendship with bees — no more need to spam the interaction and get stung 500 times just to befriend bees. yeesh!

Instantly calm down bees when agitated — we're friends, quit stinging me and give me my honey!

Faster honey production — before, bee boxes would take around 8-10 sim hours to become full. with this mod, it takes about 2 hours to become partially full, and 4 hours until full. more honey, more fun!

Faster & more beeswax production — having to wait several sim days for one measly cube of beeswax seemed a little silly to me. I wanted to make this more viable for candlemaking, so I upped the production timer to 3 beeswax every 10 sim hours. a little less cheaty than the honey production, but makes things feel a little more streamlined.

Honey Please! cheat — just for fun. adds a cheat interaction to instantly fill bee boxes with the maximum amount of honey. why, you may ask? well, why not?

NOTES

All features are available as individual files, so you can pick and choose which ones you want! There's also an all-in-one file. Make sure you use one version or the other, not both! (Unless you're a fan of causing potential problems with your saves, then don't let me stop you...)

The "Honey Please!" cheat re-enables a maxis debug cheat to fill the bee boxes, and comes with a string override that changes the default "20+ honey" label for the interaction. It's only available in english for now.

No bees were harmed or exploited for their labor in the making of this mod. They were given proper compensation for their increased efficiency, as well as extra vacation days, professional massages, and a complimentary buffet.

Compatibility:

This mod will probably conflict with anything that touches the tuning data for bee boxes. ‼️Calm Bees by LittleMsSam is technically incompatible, as this mod does the same thing, so don't use my mod alongside hers. Nothing catastrophic should happen to your game if you do, but some interactions may be missing. ‼️This mod requires the SEASONS expansion pack!
