hello hello mystie 🩷 bon has decided to visit you once again.

i am recently going through quite some turbulence with my writing. i have been working on a aot reiner piece for quite some time but it's been feeling rather... unfulfilling? i guess i just want to open up a bit.

as a black woman, i've seen a number of posts on here of other woc having takes about how we should 'embrace our blackness' and write our fics in a way that reflects that. i always understood that this is a valid opinion, as we are often pushed by society to 'calm' ourselves down and water down our personalities and our way of speaking (often not to fall subject to a number of disheartening stereotypes.)

but i've come to a more different, personal conclusion over the past few months. i am a black south african girl who grew up watching british cartoons in order to learn english. my mother took me to a catholic school where english was the language of instruction and we had a similar education system as most british schools (colonisation has a role in this system but that's a discussion for another day.)

i've always been called 'whitewashed' as i am fluent in the language. there's still heavy racial tension where i'm from, so ever since i was little i was compared to speaking as a white person. a 'coconut' if we want to go that far, lol.

besides this, we've become more westernised and my peers around me began to see the struggle of african americans as our own (since we're all experiencing the same biases and discrimination as poc.) now for some reason, seeing the takes of other woc made me feel as if the way i write and speak was incorrect. i felt like a phony, like someone who was dodging away from racism by writing like a 'white person' to stay unattacked.

to cut this short (as this has already been quite long), your writing put things into perspective for me. it might not be 'that deep' but seeing another black woman write and speak similar to myself has healed a small part of me. not only is your writing excellent, but it makes me feel as if that i don't have to pretend to be the stereotypical black writer all the time.

that my way of writing does not make me any less 'black'. i now know exactly how i want to create stories and write them down, as i always could've done.

I apologize for the delay, I’ve been traveling for work so my activity on Tumblr has been low recently.

It’s a weird sensation of fate to read your post, because I resonate with your thoughts deeply. Growing up as a military child, I moved frequently, so I never really had a “home” like others. The friends that I had were all military children too and made up a melting pot of race, diversity, and background. I did not have a primarily black friend group and because of this, others often made fun of me for not being “black” enough. The way I spoke, wrote, dressed, and my mannerisms were all representative of a “whitewashed” version of a black woman. The concept of whitewashed is a topic for another day 😒

I’ve dealt with being called an “inside out Oreo”and constantly heard the annoying micro-aggression of “talking really well for someone like myself.” And for years it bothered me more that I wanted to feel and act like others, instead of embracing myself. Thankfully, I got over that.

Joining Tumblr and finding a community of black writers has been a great experience, and I definitely agree that we should ‘embrace our blackness’, but embrace it in a way that represents YOU. Not everyone else.

For myself, I embrace with what I write about, not necessarily how I write. Because I write how I think and talk, but I try to share plot and experiences that normally resonate with who I am as a black woman. Cookouts, extended family mannerisms and traditions, how I do my hair and take care of my skin, etc.

You are not a phony and you are not ‘whitewashed’. You’re Bonnie, and Bonnie writes how Bonnie speaks, acts, and feels. Period.

In my opinion, trying to write a certain way to appeal to someone else only takes away from your own authenticity. This isn’t to invalidate someone else’s experience, but you shouldn’t have to pretend to embrace your ‘blackness’. Being able to overcome this feeling is such a strength that you should continue to hold close 💕

Girl, look at me rambling LMFAO. THE POINT IS, I’m so happy that I was able to help you embrace more of who you are. I’m happy that you enjoy my words. I’m happy that you have the strength to create how you want. And I’m just…really happy for meeting you 🥹

Create your stories however you want. As long as Bonnie is happy and Bonnie is enjoying it and Bonnie is not intentionally hurting others, that’s all that should matter.

This is not cheesy at all! It’s so nice to form connections in places you least expect. Fandoms can either push people away or bring them together, and it’s always a rare stroke of luck to find those who mesh well with you and lift you up. So happy you found that 💕

And I agree! @valleyofwater is an absolutely, positively amazing artist! Artists bring so much life and creativity and to see their work, something they do for fun and for free, it’s an honor. This piece you shared is also one of my favorites and I’m so happy that it’s stuck with you.

Hiding your affections for Kento wasn’t as easy as you thought. Especially not with your coworkers goading you on to confess to the beautiful blond man. But you were sure that you’d mess it all up.

To you, having Kento as your colleague and friend meant the world to you. The world has been cruel to you and you’ve spent your fair share of lonely days, but having Kento by your side makes things a little better.

So even just the thought of confessing and potentially ruining such a good friendship is what throws you off. You would hate the idea of just never being able to talk to him again.

It’s quiet, one afternoon, in the teacher’s lounge at Jujutsu Tech. Nanami works on his computer, writing up a report from the last mission you two just went on. You’re grading some papers that some of the students wrote up.

From time to time, Kento looks up at you from his spot at his desk. There’s a ghost of a smile on his face when he looks at you. You’re beautiful when you’re hard at work like this. That’s what he’s thinking this entire time.

It’s not long before your silence is interrupted by the sound of Gojo and Itadori coming into the lounge. Itadori begins to talk to Nanami, which you always find so sweet the way the young man is so attached to your crush. Gojo comes over, smirking at you.

“Ahhh all alone with Nanami-san, huh?” He leans down to look at what you’re doing. “And you two are actually working? How boring! Hey Itadori-kun, take a lesson from these two. This is what happens when you grow up boring!”

Nanami looks over at you, mouthing an apology. You just shrug and laugh, shaking your head at the older white-haired man. Gojo makes a big deal of mocking your crush, but you know that won’t stop you from liking Nanami.

“Come onnnnn, you should just make a move! Besides, Kento definitely likes you!!!”

Gojo’s words make you both blush. Neither of you can look at each other and you’re left with Satoru mocking both of you while Itadori ushers him out of the lounge. Then there’s silence once again, but it’s uncomfortable and heavy this time.

Nanami comes over and he’s trying to apologize, but you’re doing your best to wave him off. You don’t want to make this awkward anymore than it has become.

“I just…well, I don’t want you to feel objectified.” Nanami explains, but he’s tugging on his tie nervously.

“It’s okay, I know you don’t see me that way. I’m sure a man like you enjoys a better looking woman.”

Something shifts in his demeanor. Nanami looks down at you with such dark lust in his eyes. He’s so close now, you can feel his warm breath on your face.

“What the hell is that supposed to mean? Do you not think you’re attractive?” He inquires.

You shrug, “Not really.”

Kento laughs before he pulls you closer to him. No time like the present, he thinks to himself as he looks at your lips. He figures it’s funny to think this is all because of Satoru.

“You look good enough to eat.”

He doesn’t even give you a chance to respond before he’s kissing you fiercely. It’s teeth clashing and tongues rubbing together. All that pent up energy was exploding within this one kiss. Soon Nanami kneels down, pushing your legs apart. He knows he’s going to have to have a taste of you.

“W-what are you doing?!” You ask, but he just quiets you with another kiss.

“Having a taste…”

You moan softly as he leans in to take greedy inhales of your scent through your panties. You’re happy you’re wearing a skirt today. Nanami pushes your legs even further apart, then he pulls your panties to the side.

His tongue is so warm, you swear you could cum right on the spot. You could barely believe that the man you have a crush on is literally eating you out at work. You clamp your hand on your mouth to quiet your noises, and Nanami chuckles softly.

He looks up at you before he pulls your clit between his lips. Kento hopes that nobody comes to interrupt you this time, or else they’ll get quite the eyeful.

some of the highlights from this podcast episode with prokop and tobi: — parts of development required the crew to literally knock on people's door to ask to see their basements because the basements contain original floorplans of old(er) buildings! — netflix had approached WH for a KCD project, however this never fully developed into a serious project due to covid — there will be a cinematic cut (with game bridges) of KCD2 presented at the karlovy vary international film festival and it will feature the events of the first half of the game — massive improvements to the camera mode (free patch) — news on the DLC mysteria ecclesiae: announced a new region for the sedletz* monastery as for what's next; not much has been revealed except that WH has expanded their workforce and that the studio knows what they're good at now and that's what they want to focus on. no mentions of a KCD sequel or a medieval RPG, but whatever they will do next, they are confident in doing it well.

*prokop says skalitz monastery but i believe that was just an accident.

Favourite ships 👀 Okay, back in the day I was a huge Kakashi/Iruka shipper, and also Gin/Rangiku, even though I never ended up writing for them myself.

Headcanons for Kakashi/Iruka: Iruka's presence and idealism would go a long way towards healing Kakashi's psychological wounds and lessen the magnitude of his pain. As a canine lover, I also headcanon that Iruka would worm his way into Kakashi's heart through his kindness to the ninja doggos. 🥰

Eiland x Farmer Headcanons

it takes him a while to realize he's into you

and even longer for him to realize you're into him as well

you are most likely the one that asks him out, and he's genuinely surprised you feel the same way

dig site dates are very common

he's amazed by your luck at finding artifacts and gives detailed explanations of what each one is (and gets a little flustered if the history is particularly romantic)

will be elated if you give him the artifacts you find (I believe artifacts should at LEAST be a liked gift for him but what do I know)

he walks you to and from practically everwhere, holding your hand the entire time

if you're out on a date and see an artifact in the water and go diving for it, I imagine it to be like that scene in bridgerton when you come out of the water

frequent family dinners at the manor with Elsie and Adeline

Elsie loves comparing you to her relationship with Rodrigo

all in all, I think Eiland would be a very doting partner. For someone who loves the past, you remind him the present is just as amazing

Share some personal lore you never posted about before

This sounds soooo funny, AND I have plenty of choice among all of the clown moments I live on a daily basis🤡 (fr though…the amount of clownery crowding my everyday routine is embarrassing 🤦🤡)

For instance, that time I scared off my new English professor barely minutes after he  introduced himself to the classroom for the first time by guessing his star sign out of nowhere and without any clue: he stood shocked at first, probably thinking I was a sort of a witch 😅 as I explained him I have always had this thing about guessing people's star signs, he looked even more confused and avoided me in the corridors for the rest of the year🤭

Wearing a hooded cloak at work is always fun. So far I've had coworkers call me a sith lord, a skyrim hero, mother theresa, and mysteria (doesn't she have a fishbowl for a head? I think you got your reference wrong honey). I've also had one kid ask why I'm dressed like an old lady and one tell me my hoodie is broken.
