UrZo the Mother:

UrZo is SkekSha’s UrRu counterpart. You might all be surprised to hear but in someways UrZo and SkekSha are actually quite similar. UrZo is very motherly to the other Mystics as well as her Mystlings which were born the same time SkekZi, SkekVrie, SkekNi and SkekVex and became their Mystic counterparts. Believe it or not even though she’s a Skeksis, SkekSha also shows these motherly traits as she always is the one who tries to break up arguments between her fellow Skeksis and not to mention she also is a great mother to SkekZi, SkekVrie, SkekNi and SkekVex because as they are growing up she realizes more and more how important her family really is to her and because of that she will go to great lengths to ensure her family’s safety. UrZo is much more laid back. Spending her time using her wisdom to guide her Mystlings; UrZi, UrVrie, UrNi and UrVex rather than getting into the thick of things. UrZo wears light blue silk-like robes. She relies more on her magic to fight rather then a hand held weapon as magic is her strongest suit.

i had to re add this like three times. but hey. there he is! i have. ! thoughts about him. he's one of those characters that i'm not hugely invested in emotionally & i think he's kind of an asshole BUT! it makes sense for him. he's been witness to the horrors & has been through so much shit but he's gotta keep his head up some more. like he's not the only one who's been through this shit & none of them are handling it well but the way he specifically handles it feels so... irony-poisoned but to a higher degree? he's getting better but also like this is what it feels like. it's like if you took vex, gave him more hope & faith in humanity to start with & then completely pulverised it. then put him through a sburb session or three. this is what mystle is to me. i think ataraxia wouldn't like him btw.

🌿Pop of Green🌿 . So I did my hair over yesterday morning cause I clearly used too much of the Good Day as a leave-in when I used it with mousse def, This foam is bae for me 💯. I get more definition on towel dried damp hair 😊. . This go round I used only One Love to wash since I already shampoo'ed on Monday. Then I used Fresh Rinse (just cause it's Bae too 😂). . Then this time, i tried mousse def again without using any other leave-ins like I usually do. But since I was using only @ilovethedoux products this week, the mousse def worked so much better for me cause I got all those other brand products up off my hair on Monday. . My hair feels great with just the mousse def now, finally 😏, that's cause I paid attention to Mrs. Smith's recorded live the other day 😂 . How Skeksis Dream-Fasting in my AU works:

In my Au story on Ao3 I recently introduced the idea that Skeksis have their own version of Dream-fasting after I got the idea brought up to me by a friend. In this blog I will talk about how that is possible with how I’m handling it. So first of all for it to work, Aughra must be preset in order to link the Skeksis that want to talk in this way via their minds. She may not always enter the dream herself but it is the only way a Dream-fast between Skeksis will form. Whichever Skeksis that Aughra is with will tell her who he or she wants brought into his or her mind and she will magically make those or if it’s simply one Skeksis she’ll bring that one Skeksis into the mind of the Skeksis she is with at the time. In Dream-Fast or Dream Space the said Skeksis will always be pulled into the Chamber of the Crystal. Aughra has made this come with a price however. Should a Skeksis be talking with their mate in a Dream-Fast or Dream Space sequence they will be magically linked almost like a Skeksis-UrRu link.

As an example, in the story once SkekSha has her Dream Space sequence with Aughra and SkekSo both present, Aughra magically links their minds. Meaning one will always feel what the other feels, where the other is and know what the other thinks. Again very similar to the Skeksis-UrRu link.

I guess now would also be a good time to talk about a Mother Skeksis and Skekling bond thoroughly too. When a Skekling is born a magical link immediately forms between that Skekling and their mother. Wether it’s Thra itself doing it or the strong instinct a mother Skeksis immediately has to protect and care for her Skeklings is sort of a mystery. Once this link forms (usually when the mother is cleaning her Skeklings the moment after they are born so pretty much from the first touch a Skekling feels from their mother) it is a bond and link that will carry throughout the lives of the mother Skeksis and her Skeklings until their deaths. A magical link can also form between the Skeklings themselves.

This same link also happens between Mystic mothers and their Mystlings too. In terms of Skeklings and Mystling links often times when a Skekling is born so is their Mystic counterpart.

I just thought these would be interesting topics worth talking about from my fanfic so you guys have a better idea.

🌺Eye Looks🌺 change of gears for today's post. Got to experiment with my new nyx dreamer eyeshadow palette. I recreated that orangey eye look I did a few weeks ago with a bh cosmetic palette that I didn't like, and finally returned to ulta over the weekend. . Also did a pink/blue look that I kinda messed up on 🤷🏽‍♀️ plus my full week of using that new eco style gel was a success for a whole week. I could've probably stretched to 2wks, but I was ready to try some products I hadn't used yet from the Doux, which I tried for today's wash day, and I love the new Doux items I snagged! Debating between doing a twistout or wng, but decided to just do another wng. I was gonna finish my hair tonight, but we had a bad lighting storm roll through and I wasn't bout to sit next to my window under a hooded dryer 😂 it's all good though I'll just finish up my hair tomorrow. 😁 . immediately after being off from the Inn, stone bridge over nearly dry bed of torrent –

at 6 1/4 Pont d’ Allaman (‘lieue’ from Rolle) stone bridge over broadish river bed, not much water at present – very pretty hereabouts – shut in by planting (right) –

at 5 50/60 very pretty about Rolle – fine view of the town – at 6 57/60 little stone bridge and on it a milliary marked 5 lieues to Lausanne and 6 to Geneva, and enter Rolle (one long, wide, good street) and alight at the Couronne at 7 –

at 7 1/2 all went out to Madame Becherat and her house of which Miss Gauntlet spoke so highly – found her an elderly, good sort of person very likely to make Miss G– [Gauntlet] comfortable – her apartment really very comfortable – nice garden – nice apartment opening into it – would this suit my aunt? Madame B– [Becherat] takes gentlemens at 5 Napoleons per month ladies at 4 ditto per ditto – woman servant 2 1/2 or 3 Napoleons – perhaps (did not inquire) a man servant at the same – good coach house and stabling – Monsieur B– [Becherat] came – good sort of looking man – younger than his wife – the keep of a horse 1/50 a day – this the price at an Inn – at home i.e. settled would cost (well kept) from 12 to 15 Napoleons a year – very dear at the latter price – might buy a very good – (the best) horse for 20 Napoleons, and a char a banc (if not quite new, as good as new) for 20 Napoleons – when he travelled with Miss G– [Gauntlet] (drove her about in his charabanc) preferred sleeping at villages – paid 3/. per night for bed and supper – these 2 good people walked back with us to the Inn – got back at 9 10/60 – very fine day –
